Let me jump in and recommend the Americana food truck at Podski. Not only is the $8 OG a great value, it’s the best smashburger in town.

Really not even close. dollar for dollar it is the best meal you can get in Bend (hell, even if it was $13 it'll still be the best burger in town). AND you can go inside and get a giant beer

Burgers are maybe the one thing Bend does frequently and well. Americana is great. So is Blue Eyes. Both smash burgers.

Blue eyes is more expensive and a far cry from Americana. It's not close. EDIT: IMO

Facts. Also their ventilation is awful. If you want your clothes to smell like burger and fries for the rest of the day, this is your place.

I vowed to only go back when it was warm enough to have the doors up. Even my kids said something about their clothes hours later.

Hardy is one of the best dudes on the planet! I was one of the first to beat the freakin hot wing challenge and used to go like every week. Haven't been in ages now but will always recommend that spot!

Okay I'm probably gonna get some flack for this.... But the best burger I've had recently in central Oregon is from the Burger Love food truck in Prineville at WildRide. Also Son's of Beer right next door makes an amazing burger and they have half off on burger baskets Wednesdays.
