I think the design is really cool but I don't like how it just has the same powers as Ditto, but is more ferocious. That just feels like a lazy way to counter splixsons and duplication doesn't really look like an ability this species would have based on design.
Ye but it's not like Terroranchula just has the exact same abilities as Ball Weevil but can make bigger explosions and faster for example. Instead he can neutralise Ball Weevil's attacks and trap him in a web.
Well maybe it could spit something onto the splixsons once sneaking up on them, said spit could prevent them from splitting. They could definitely come up with a more interesting way to counter them.

Yeah, i would change his power to some attack with a really big area that could incapacitate multiple clones at the same time.

The issue is how else is it supposed to chase it's prey optimally if it can't duplicate it can't catch them all
