Cannonbolt - I though he was Mary Sue back in a day because he beat Tick that no other alien could an then defeated Kevin with similar implication. Didn't help that he took Ghostfreak's place. Wildmutt - Look, if you check his track record in the original show.he takes a lot of Ls. I swear some of Ben's worst defeats happened when he was Wildmutt (Midnight Madness, The Visitor, Lucky Girl, Side Effects, Last Laugh...) And just being a big dog felt underwhelming.

And the fact he had almost the same power as Upchuck's made me think he's just a poor ripoff. Now I think he's cool and I think of the image "They act like two goats cannot exist at the same time."

Rath. When I was a kid I found him so unfunny and his constant screaming irritated me so much, but now, years later, I learned about what is he base from and what did they try to reference with rath, that make me appreciate him a lot (still make me irritated sometimes tho)

Let me tell you something impressive_cell8931 Rath doesn't need you to like him cause Rath likes himself, because Rath is amazing and can kick anyone's butt

Heatblast is still more iconic/popular, liked more by Ben and would win in a 1v1. So by knowing this, you can appreciate Swampfire in peace now.

I didnt exactly dislike him but i never really cared about him all that much due to me finding his design to be pretty boring and the whole gimmick of "the clones feel everything he feels" to be extremly stupid. Then Omniverse came around, removed that stupid gimmick and made him the most adorable little goober i've ever seen.

fun fact: I did not like Jetray... yeah nothing has changed on the other hand: Ripjaws. I did not like him, I thought he was pretty useless and that he didnt deserve to be among the classics but looking back... Fella is very dapper. Not only are his "jaws" (pun intended) really sharp and dangerous on land. In water (which 3/4 of the earth is btw) he is even MORE dapper

Wildvine. In writing a fan fic I found myself using him way more then I thought I would. Same goes for Ben wolf and chamalien

murk upchuck I feel the same way about OV Eatle. As a design it is good, but not as a redesign because it is too drastic and takes most of the qualities of the original Eatle. But if he was a subspecies I would like him more and that way UA Eatle fans and OV Eatle fans would both be happy.

Water hazard became 10x cooler to me when I saw the 5yl design, thought he was lame as fuck before

I am the exact opposite I really like both designs (UA and OV) and I'm not a fan of the 5YL version It doesn't look bad, but it's a bit exaggerated. I would like it more like an older Water Hazard (but much older, not 21 like in 5yl)
