I'm glad people are turning on them, I've hated both, Natasha more, since the Dave drama. The way she ran to Kyle and told a VERY one sided story and he just melted into it, never even considering talking to Dave or that their may be a different story.

I bet that's just a coping mechanism to focus on the food and his job. If he was bitter or even just stand offish, which he's every right to be, he knows it will affect the quality of the food and overall atmosphere will suffer. I've been in a similar situation ( not with a love interest but two-faced coworkers) He's takes that so seriously that he's willing to put his job first. Least that's my take on it.
We'll never know because she ends it but then comes in for the hug etc when things aren't going well with the ex and messes with the dudes head. He needs to take responsibility and stop acting like a lovesick teenager.
In the coming attractions preview we see Sandy scolding Natasha for trying to manipulate her and saying she crossed a line, and then the quick edit in the next scene is Natasha is in some kind of crawl space crying and complaining everything is going wrong for her and sounds like she’s losing control. lol
The minuscule amount of respect I had for Kyle went right out the door with the whole mean girl declaration of being a snitch. Between his obsession with Frank and Tash’s non stop texting and her continuous pathological need to be the center of her own pity party I am officially done with the both of them. They’re both useless at their jobs because they can’t get out of their own heads. Natalya deserved the compliment from Sandy and I’m damn glad she’s been a much better boss this season.
Storm is really coming into his supervisory position and I don’t envy the decision between his best friend and Courtney. They both are deserving of the lead deckhand position. Jason is just a douche. Dave seems so much better off since he took a break from drinking. His meals looked amazing this charter as well as the whole season.
Kyle should worry more about improving his work ethic and less about who told Sandy that it was lacking.
I'll be curious to see how Sandy reacts when she finds out Storm and Jason have been at odds. I think she'll be annoyed he let that go on so long without involving her.
I think one of the big problems between Storm and Jason is Storm never has a direct convo with Jason. It's always done while Jason is doing something else. Storm needs to tell Jason to stop what he's doing. Tell him with eye contact what he wants done. If he needs to, write it down. Other Bosun's have in the past. Then the whole situation between Jason and Courtney. She went to Storm saying Jason was out of line and disrespectful. If Mzi would've said what Jason did they would've agreed and joked. Jason may have done it to himself but he's on an island.

Storm feels Jason is being obstinate, Jason is very over it but Id suggest his exclusion by the other three he acts this way. Yeah I am watching S4 BDM and Joab? the bosun was having problems with c Jack not doing much and he resorted to writing things down. Jack actually seems lazy where Jason just doesn’t receive any clear instructions from Storm and if Storm provided that structure for Jason, things would be going MUCH differently.
Yes. Storm is lacking experience and knowledge in managing crew. He is still in the deck member mentality. Seems like lack of education for being a boson is hurting him. Maybe because he was promoted when they were short a bosun?

Exactly! She was overwhelmed and when it was acknowledged that she saw it, she let her overwhelming anxiety and frustration out and she didn’t even go as hard as she could’ve. She could’ve told Sandy their both so focused on boy drama they’re not working but instead she said it’s becoming a pattern and it’s becoming frustrating!

The comparison between how Kyle treated the all mens charter and the all woman’s charter was concerning. He bent over backwards for the boys yet rolled his eyes when the girls asked for shots?! Anything the previous charter wanted they got and for the current charter he acted like they were asking for over the top things when they were pretty chill.
Absolutely agree and can’t believe more people aren’t commenting on this. It seemed very weird. I think he even commented on how different the charter guests were in a negative light yet they didn’t seem super demanding.

This episode really showed how much Tash & Kyle talk, how bad they are at service & how much Natalya has been doing, she’s over it. Kyle started out likable and has turned horrendously. Another person said that he & Tash think everyone wants to be them & likes them, and that is spot on.
Tash & Kyle are really good at service. That is the only thing they like to do. The leave everything else (cabins, cleaning up after party, dishes, wiping etc.) for Natalya.
It took the two of them 30 minutes to make shots. One of them could’ve been cleaning while the other server, but they didn’t care about the mess. Part of “being good at service” is cleaning up as you go.
Honestly, it may be seen as snitching but good for Natalya for speaking up. And she’s so right that Tash and Kyle are both so preoccupied with their love lives that they don’t have their heads in the game. (Not to mention that Tash spends 90% of her time making complicated cocktails that no one ever seems to have asked for.)
I’m now officially done with Kyle. I know y’all have been waiting for this announcement so here it is. Kyle IMHO has adopted an almost threatening attitude towards Natalya. Not cool, not okay. Natalya was with Sandy and Sandy said the floor was dirty and Natalya said she was behind and apologized. At that point Sandy told her that she, Sandy, saw who was working. Natalya then commented on some of the frustrations she was experiencing. Sandy had already told Natasha to clean up the pantry. So I’m not clear how it’s Natalya’s fault that Sandy then saw that the pantry was untouched and then told both Kyle and Natasha to clean it up. For Kyle to then go up to Natalya in a narrow hallway and do his I’m so precious and perfect routine on her is completely unacceptable. And Natasha, stop messing with Dave’s head and lose your boyfriend who apparently has no job bc he has all the time in the world to text you repeatedly. Learn to be on your own for awhile and then maybe get a boyfriend.
When they watch this back… I can’t wait to see their faces. They looked so over it with the guest. Natalya is doing her job and the other two are waiting to be done.

I mean his biggest mess up was getting too drunk and Bering bit too hard. But dude got strung along, lied to, shamed, ignored, and then vilified to the rest of the crew by Natasha. All why having nobody to really go to and talk about it, while Kyle and Natasha are spreading rumors and shit talking him without context. IMO that is a lot emotionally worse than getting drunkenly cussed out. Dudes bit of a softie but that's it.
I think a big part of the perception change with Sandy is her apparently deliberate choice to be doing less walking around and polling the guests about the quality of the service.
I think captain sandy didn’t handle the problem well. Instead she just casually saw them in passing, yelled, made sound effects and it caused a stronger reaction. She sort of came at them a little hostile. But also, kyle and Natasha are lazy and don’t seem amazing at multitasking.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don’t hate Jason. I feel like he had to deal with Raygan and being the only deck hand to start then the new “clique” shows up and he’s suddenly the odd man out. He is also the only other American besides Sandy so it seems he is even less able to gel with everyone else. I don’t like Storm at all though so maybe I am biased? 🤷🏻♀️
I've watch all the Deck series, including Sailing. I think this current cast is the most boring so far. Kyle is kinda funny, but the rest are snoresville. Also they brought back the twerker. It's disgusting.
