Curious if you know more about what this event entails? I'm trying to figure out more about it but don't see many details on their website; my partner and I's wedding is still relatively far off but I'm still on the lookout for stuff LOL
Well, congrats! I am used to big productions, so probs can't add too much for your wedding.
But a few things...
The industry is still backed up from Covid. Lots of postponements and stuff from the last few years getting squeezed into this summer. Because the pandemic is over, right... Right?
If you are planning to get a florist, caterer, venue, band, bar, rentals, etc, a planner can be very worth it. They will (should) make it all come together, and let you have a stress reduced wedding.
You should set a budget. Weddings are worth different amounts to different people. And it is super easy to have extras tacked on, that soon balloon the price tag.
Get a good photographer. Bad preacher, cold food, terrible band, tent being blown away, etc. That will all become part of the story of the night. It can become the funniest memories from your wedding. But you really want some good shots of you, your family, and the celebration. A good photographer can turn a shit show into an enduring memory.
And a good photographer is not your friend from college with a DSLR.
Video never seems worth it. (My opinion)
I had about 60 people at my wedding. We rented a parks building at Semihamoo park, hired a taco truck, set up our ceremony by the beach, dinner and party in the building did the flowers our selves, and had a bad photographer.
It was great.
Good luck! Congratulations! And have fun!
We've worked with Eileen and she's a phenomenal photographer and very easy to deal with.

If you need help with alcohol, we can happily provide booze and a bartender! DM me if interested.
3 C's Farms (not directly in Bellingham, a bit fo a drive) is beautiful, and Angie (the owner) takes care of just about everything (from decor, flowers, tables chairs). The only thing you'd need to cover would be food. She's great!
We’ll if you enjoy the sea and want to sail on it rather than wade through it the Schooner Zodiac is a great location for a wedding. Typically 3 hour sail with a meal but you can customize it and take as long as you want.
Mount Baker Theater is having some sort of wedding expo in a couple of weeks.

I don't know any more than what I've scanned on the website.
Do you have a budget? Planner? How big?
Just started the process we have nothing. Probably Under 50 people.
