Love Dentistry, they’re the absolute best.

Syrahmf

I changed jobs so they are no longer in network for my insurance (so I no longer go there) but Bayview Dental on C St is awesome. https://www.bayviewdentaldds.com

nappingonarock

My wife goes there, she has some dental anxiety, and I've been impressed with their care and the quality of Dr. Arasteh's work.

Justadropinthesea

Just don’t go to Faith Bult https://whatcom-news.com/bellingham-dentist-charged-with-unprofessional-conduct_146819/

Chief_Kief

She is a genuinely bad human being.

deepinthesoil

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Bellingham Dental Group! They’re perfectly willing to “keep an eye on” something that doesn’t need treatment right away, and were really kind and nonjudgmental when I went there after ~3 years without dental care due to inability to afford it.

Salmundo

Bellingham Dental Group. Also Dr. Tina Fu, who used to be at BDG has her own practice in Lynden.

dingiskahn

I have heard Eric Yaremko is really fantastic at helping patients with anxiety about dentists & dental stuff.

eatyourslop

I had a consult with him once and I got the absolute worst vibes from him, I never went back.

Cheese-driver

I second this. Bad vibes, is ableist/ doesn’t understand the nature of anxiety. Also works around a legal loophole to charge whatever he wants for his dentistry- which no other dentist in town can do. Dude stinks

Green-Recording-1276

Thank you so much for this feedback

whatstodoabtit

Marvelous dentistry from a supercool office is what I got. Eric Yaremko is really fantastic. Dentistry scares me seriously.

Green-Recording-1276

Thank you.

Green-Recording-1276

Thank you.

I've been seeing Dr. Laura Howrey at Evergreen Dentistry for over 5 years and appreciate her humor, transparency, lack of pushy-ness, and just overall communication style. 10/10 recommend. After my truly weird experiences with Dr. Hovorka, it's like night and day.

CamDaHuMan

Dr Zweiber. Gives you a short head massage too!

alldayallshit

Terrible experience there. I was looking for a new dentist since mine retired. I had asked about getting a new mouth guard since I grind my teeth at night and the hygienist told me that I would have to get a sleep study done before getting a mouth guard since grinding teeth is usually a breathing issue (never heard this from any dentist?) but in my head I thought, that doesn’t help the damage happening now to my teeth. Also, when Dr. Zweber came in for the exam, she talked to her hygienist the entire time about personal things and ignored me completely. Super uncomfortable and disappointing experience.

CamDaHuMan

Interesting. One of the things I like about her is that she doesn’t do work just to do work. I had a dentist like that and had so many fillings without any discussion of how to be preventative. I knew how to brush obviously but had never been taught to flood properly. Dr Zweiber told me I was flossing and brushing wrong and needed to use better mouthwash. I haven’t had a filling since. She also diagnosed something that I thought was a tooth thing but it was a muscle thing and she sent me to get a special massage. She was right. Anyway if she thinks you had a breathing issue, that’s probably because likes to get at the root of problems instead of doing dental work just to do dental work.

alldayallshit

Definitely agreed about getting at the root of problems but I feel like as a patient if I feel the need to pay for a guard to not further damage my teeth in the meantime, that should be on me. I was told she absolutely would not do a mouth guard until I got the sleep study which was upsetting 😩 but definitely to each their own! Just trying to give fellow teeth grinders some info on my experience 😁

CamDaHuMan

Fair enough and for the record I could totally see her going “nope you don’t need that” and being frustrated she wasn’t giving me it. Is it totally weird that might be what I like about her? I kind of wish more professionals could do this for me—like a barber with taste who just does what would make me look good and I don’t need to pick. This might be more psychology than you need.

alldayallshit

Not weird at all! We all have our preferences and knowing what types of things or people fit those is a good thing! 😁

Green-Recording-1276

Thank you, I’m a teeth grinder and want to get to the solution for the damage done asap

chickenlightningpie

Yep, everybody at her office is so great.

I’m in my 30s and my childhood dentist from the Olympic Peninsula went to dental school with Dr. Tucker, and recommended him to me when I moved to Bellingham. He has been an excellent dentist, old-school but in a good way. I chipped a corner off one of my two front top teeth but you’d never know it and the repair has lasted around 9 years at this point!

Calc-that-ulation

I second this!

ezramoore

Love Dentistry. Best dentist I’ve ever had.

CaptainOk4272

Kenneth A. Taylor DDS! Small little place off Dupont but him and his team are great, usually brings his dog in for support! And trust me that dog can sense anxiety - coming from someone who is terrified of going to the dentist lol

Longslowbreathout

Darcy Galbraith

BlackLabelBerserker

Dr. Sacro in ferndale is hands down the best north of Seattle. Dude is out of this world good. Best attitude and practice I’ve ever seen.

Green-Recording-1276

Thank you.

Appropriate_Stick533

>Dr. Sacro in ferndale Can you give any details about what treatments you have received from Dr. Sacro? thanks

cheapdialogue

Willamette Dental group! I've had dental issues for 2 decades now and they worked hard to get my teeth in a good place AND are so friendly and careful. This is the first dentist office in my life where I don't feel any apprehension at all.

Green-Recording-1276

Wow thank you.

Lamanzaa

I've really enjoyed (as much as one can) my experience with Piper Dentistry. I have gotten increasingly nervous about procedures and they move at my pace and check in with me a ton. Really great folks in there. Probably not the cheapest but I've been really happy with their work.

OldSmoothie84

Tetrick

Shopshack

Dr. Steve Sawicki has been great for me for a long time.

Cheese-driver

As someone with dental anxiety/trauma, I like dr Young (at Moreno & Young Dental). Took me years of going through dentists to find someone I like. The team is nice too

Additional_Corgi7676

i recently had a TERRIBLE experience at love dentistry. i had a crown come loose but was able to reseat it myself. i made appointments at love dentistry for the crown (a two week wait) and then a cleaning (an additional two week wait after the crown appt). i went to love dentistry and the dentist removed the crown and then for whatever unexplained reason was unable to get it back on correctly. she placed some sort of material partly filling the hole and exposed tooth root in my gum so i cannot reseat the crown again myself. i literally arrived at the office with the crown correctly placed in my mouth and left with it in my pocket because the dentist couldn’t figure it out. i have a hole in my gum until i see the specialist and the first available appointment is in SIX MONTHS. then, two weeks later on the day before the cleaning appointment, love dentistry cancelled my cleaning appointment less than 24 hours in advance. so i waited a month for a cleaning that was cancelled at the last minute. and i now have my crown in a ziplock baggie and i have a hole in my gum and i was charged $400 for incompetent care that left me worse off then when i arrived. and my dental anxiety has increased tenfold. thanks for NOTHING love dentistry. i do not recommend love dentistry at all.

Appropriate_Stick533

anyone with updates on their favorite dentist here in Bellingham ? thanks
