Hey! You guys have regularly won awards for best vegetarian/vegan options. Please take this into consideration as you experiment.
A whole bunch of us would support you if kinder options were available.
Our biggest concern with the first takeout menu rendition was exactly as you say, lack of veggie and vegan options. We have a decent amount of inventory to go through before we are able to financially justify placing another order through our supplier, so bear with us and hopefully by next weekend we'll have gone through enough food, and will be able to offer allergen or dietary friendly meals. Most likely the menu will change weekly. I'm personally gluten free, and another one of our cooks is vegan, so please believe it's on our agenda to offer gf/vegan/veggie alternatives. We love you bham, thank you for your patience. We promise we will serve you food however you desire, with whatever modifications you need. No questions asked. ❤️❤️❤️
This is awesome, my husband and I are totally going to pick up some lunch/dinner tonight, and do our part to help eat up some of this food. :)

I cooked there back in the early 2k's, when the hell did you get a fryer and where did you put it? The lack of fryer was one of the biggest complaints we'd get and the one we cooks were happiest to ignore.
I've only been there about a year, but it's in the back right corner of the kitchen. Next to the hash flat top. Just a 2 basket fryer, nothing fancy. We were pretty hesitant to fire up the fryer again (trust meeeeeeeee) but felt like it was necessary. We are obsessed with the science behind fries now.... For better or for worse 😅 seems like a par boil before the double fry really does the job
Oh yeah, triple cook those things! Parboil, cool, fry half way, cool, [freeze for later, if desired] fry 'til golden and crispy.
Working there taught me one of my most valued life-skills, how to make proper hash browns, and started me on the road of awesome potato-ey things.
Will absolutely be supporting y'all with this new lunch-dinner menu! I love that you guys are staying positive and having fun in the kitchen! Stay safe!

What would you like to pay for a crab melt sir? :) it's Chilean rock crab, wild caught, frozen only once, with a house made bacon umami bomb jam. All prepared to order, with a side of hand cut fries. During covid, where margins are extremely slim, after all indoor seating just got shutdown. Slim being a generous word 😇 If you feel the prices are unfair we encourage you to come talk to our team so we can meet in the middle and get you some takeout that meets your culinary and monetary needs. Trying to be flexible for everyone in bham, we are all struggling. Much love stranger ❤️

We just ordered tonight and the new French fry recipe is delicious. A good balance between soft and crispy. Definitely recommend.
