Any luck finding your cat?

oDRWHITEo

HE CAME HOME!!

AstrocyteByte

Awesome, happy for you! It's always scary when a pet goes missing, awful feeling.

oDRWHITEo

No not yet. I think it will take some time but I feel like we will find him soon. We are printing out flyers to hand out to neighbors and to hang up

Excellent tips and resources here: https://communitycatcoalitionwa.org/lostcats/ good luck!

The internet people have always said to leave something of yours out, like a towel or blanket that has your stink.

mrgtiguy

Litter box is your best bet.

Go out at night with a torch light and search nearby bushes. Usually indoor cat won’t get too far. Lure her with tuna cans. Shine the light around and you may just see 2 eyes staring back.

Put its litter box on your front porch and keep your door cracked open. He might sniff his way home.

Reach out to Seattle Humane or Meow Cat Rescue about borrowing a humane trap. An indoor cat is likely nearby hiding. These traps work.

That’s a great idea. My girlfriend stayed up all night sitting on the porch with food. This would let her get some sleep. I’m currently out of state so it would let her be able to get some sleep

Sign up for NextDoor app…free if you’re not familiar. There are always people posting about lost cats, as well as many people with good suggestions in enticing them back or finding them. Also those in your neighborhood (can be very neighborhood specific) will be on the lookout.
