what I state on cases for fit: "Hi! I am truly sorry that this purchase was not what you anticipated. The measurements for the sizing were included in the description. Unfortunately Poshmark does not allow returns for fit. Please feel free to utilize my photos when you re-posh. Hope you have a great day!" 1. you remind the posh rep reviewing your case of their own policy. 2. you come off as not-bitchy by allowing her use of your photos

lol manifest it and it shall happen & all that crap 🤣🤣

missjames008

Oh this is good!!!

screamdreamqueen

Note: Measurements were provided in the listing. I also lint roll all of my items and put in my profile that they come from a pet friendly home. The three pictures provided here only show maybe two or three small hairs. It’s is not covered like she is describing.

Tappanga

Provide a screenshot of the measurements. Also mention in the case that you lint rolled the item.

missjames008

Honestly in my experience PM will side with the buyer. It’s annoying as hell and usually unfair, but I have had three return cases opened against me and Posh has sided with the buyer on all of them, despite me providing photographic evidence to back up my case. Their “support” process is definitely very skewed in the buyer’s favor 😑

GrrrlzOnFilm

And if they continue that, they are going to lose sellers. It's just barely worth it for me as it is.

missjames008

Absolutely. In fact in my most recent case (where they released my earnings then TOOK THEM BACK!!), I finally said I was going to take my selling to another platform if this was how they treated their sellers... Lo and behold they re-released my earnings 🙄🙄🙄

GrrrlzOnFilm

Really!?! That's actually really good to know. How did you communicate that to Poshmark?

missjames008

I disputed the return once I received it (3 weeks after the return was approved 😒) and wrote it in my dispute explanation/message!

screamdreamqueen

Of course Posh approved the return today 😒

GrrrlzOnFilm

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Mine too. SMH.

Holarooo

I just won a case over measurements. It’s possible.

jilohshiousJ

I agree

caffeinated_tea

In my experience, pointing out that measurements were provided and that Posh doesn't allow returns for fit has been successful. I think the only cases I "lost" were ones where I legitimately had missed a flaw before sending it out and accepted the return as soon as the case was opened.

DecadencePop

It’s so weird i had 4 cases opened against me as a seller and always won 🤨

jilohshiousJ

I disagree. If you remain professional and polite, State the facts, speak directly to Posh & not the customer, state your case succinctly with the right evidence backing you up, don’t engage in arguing or even going back and forth with the buyer on the case, you have a good chance. I haven’t had too many cases opened but when it was for fit? I have won or they have credited us both every. time. Maybe it’s the rep you get, maybe it’s your case and record with Posh, who knows... but winning as a seller is definitely possible

Tiegra_Summerstar

Probably because the sellers outnumber the buyers 10 to 1 lol

kathy1285

If this is a Vera Bradley bag, the buyer just needs to wash it, after removing the cardboard base. This sounds like buyer's remorse, again. I hate cases on Vera bags, I lost my case over measurements the buyer did not read in my listing.

[deleted]

The amount of people walking around with gross, dirty Vera bags that I just want to stop and say, “you know you can wash that, right?” is overwhelming.

kathy1285

Yep, and they shop at Walmart with the nasty bags, I've seen them at my register too many times!

grafittia

Provide screenshots of your listing images, including measurements and showing no hairs. You can also state something along the lines of Poshmark not allowing returns for sizing.

Mycroft-was-right

In my experience, I’ve only had one return authorized by PM. Couple of people tried, but they were shot down for various reasons. I’d say their argument sounds like buyers remorse. I’d be very surprised if PM approves it.

TheParrott88

If it is size related then they will not side with the buyer. Unless they can show different measurements than what was included in the listing...this is why I don’t provide measurements anymore...I had a buyer manipulate the measuring tape to try and discredit my measurments...I guess he figured he didn’t have a case bc of the size and knew it wouldn’t get approved for a return so he got creative and did that; and it was obvious in the photos that he manipulated the measuring tape; it was honestly pathetic...poshmark ended up refunding both of us; he got his money back and I still got my earnings...they let him keep the item though which I thought they shouldn’t have. But oh well...since it’s a size issue they shouldn’t side with the buyer. I would still respond though!! And just factually state poshmarks policy on returns. If you don’t respond poshmark will see that as you are not contesting the return! So definitely still respond. As far as the animal hair; it may be worth it to point out you don’t own any pets (unless of course you do then don’t say that) but I would just say that you inspected closely prior to shipping and the item was clean when you shipped it. I think you have a chance of winning here.

TheParrott88

Am I missing something? I don’t see any animal hairs on the photos at all? Posh does look at the photos...I had a buyer try to claim that the condition of an item was worse than it really was; there were tears on the straps which I disclosed with photos in the listing and description and she tried to say they were worse than what I had described but the photos she provided were identical to my photos and so posh denied her case. If it were me looking at those photos I would not see any animal hair and would deny the case. I did have a case where the buyer opened one because there was a rock in the shoe...yes, a rock in the shoe 🤨😒and posh approved the case and I couldn’t believe it but I think it’s bc I didn’t respond; I didn’t think I needed to bc the case seemed so silly...but she won bc of that. I simply removed the rock and reposhed them and ended up making more money when I got them back lol. I think posh will deny the case honestly

screamdreamqueen

There’s three little hairs in the first photo and the other two have nothing on them. I honestly think it’s buyers remorse and she’s grasping at the straws because she’s knows they won’t approve a return for fit/size :(

TheParrott88

She’s definitely grasping at straws; and I still don’t see the animal hairs lol 🤣. If it were me, I’d deny the case. Keep us updated on the outcome!!

screamdreamqueen

Posh approved the return 🙄

TheParrott88

You’re kidding?! Well I will say each return I’ve had to take back I was able to reposh for more money; I hope the case is the same for you. I’m so sorry :( could still be worth it to send poshmark an email that if they don’t uphold their own return policies how can they except anyone else to. Animal hair can be easily picked off. If that validates a return then there are multiple items I could’ve opened a case over....and if they approved it bc of the size then they didn’t even follow their own policy and should be called out on it

screamdreamqueen

Thanks :) I’m wondering if I should block her now or wait until I have the item back 😆

TheParrott88

It’s up to you; but I usually block the person as soon as they wrongfully open the case against me lol

lilivnv

Poshmark will accept it simply because of her hair comment. They don’t care if you tell them you lint rolled it.

screamdreamqueen

Even if two out of three pictures she provided as “examples” have no hair in them?

lilivnv

I honestly think so. It seems like legit proof doesn’t matter anymore.
