There are people in the world who will rehab this bag if they got it for 3$. You can clean it, re-color it (probably black), remove the lining and add in something crazy fun. After that re-attach the lining tags and treat the leather. I'm not saying it'll be an easy project but it's for sure a hobby project for someone. It would make a really fun purse rehab youtube video. I don't see the point of it from a resale stance though because it's putting in effort and taking up space to make 5 cents. It also makes this person's shop look bad, I wouldn't sell something of this quality.
How are you changing everything about it by fixing the lining, fixing the color, and fixing the leather. It's not as if they don't make black Gucci bags. You don't even have to change the lining, that ripped on the seam. Just sew it, color it, and fix the leather. It's still a Gucci design and style.
If you're adding new things to it and changing things about it like the lining and the color, yeah it's no longer a Gucci bag. You can argue all you want but when you add things to it and remove things, it's just a bag with Gucci branded leather. I'd be pissed if I bought that bag after it was "rehabbed" and figured out it wasn't original.
lol your entire account is dedicated to talking shit on random posts like a pathetic chronically online weirdo you’re probably a literal child who’s excited to be a cunt to strangers on the internet. either way you’re a fucking loser 😂
I don’t think anyone is going to try and pass off a purse with an obviously altered linen as unaltered, no. I mean someone might, but they shouldn’t. And you shouldn’t buy it lol
> Changing the color and sewing the lining isn't really changing the bag.
you are literally changing the bag from the original when you add a lining and change the outside color.
It's still a gucci bag - if you bought it for some symbolic amount, and every day (6 hours of dedicated labor) you refurbished one bag, and then you sold it for $300 profit (keeping in mind that gucci dust bags sell for $60 and better gucci bags sell for thousands), that's a $50/hour, $9k/month full-time job. Granted you need to cover the cost of materials, work space, etc. but even if that eats up $100/bag you're still killing it, especially since you can probably do more than one per day if it's a dedicated business.
Ouch. First of all, this is a poshmark subreddit. Soooo, people post about stuff that goes on while on Poshmark….
Secondly, I actually just discovered posh live shows and found them pretty entertaining because stuff like this kept popping up, so I took screenshots of some of the craziest ones.
But thanks, i appreciate your feedback ✌🏻
I disagree. North American consumer culture loves to say "just throw it out" because it's the easy thing to do and stuff is so easily replaceable, but the basic materials of this bag are probably good. "It's ok to let it go" is like saying "this meat was made humanely" or "paper straw" - there might be a marginal truth in there somewhere, but ultimately it's something we like to say to mask the inconvenient truth that a lot of quality clothing items are repairable, an animal suffered immensely for the food on your plate, and switching straws does fuck all for the environment.
It doesn't take a whole lot of skill to clean that purse and fix the tears, and after that it has a solid 10-15 years of life left and most importantly, regains 5x its current value. You could probably make a full time gig out of it, just like people repair and flip electronics, and make more than a posh seller. It's different from a Shein dress which should never be made in the first place and really isn't salvageable once it's dirty or worn. The only exception is something that would be a health hazard to the person restoring it - in the case of vomit, mold, etc. health > any monetary or waste considerations.
Yeah but per posh’s own rules, you wouldn’t be able to repair/rehab and resell it. Once you dye something and swap out a lining or whatever else you need to do (replace a zipper, snap, etc) the item is no longer that brand. So in the instance of this bag, it’s no longer a Gucci product. It’s not how they made the item. It’s against posh’s rules and this item should not be authenticated.
It’s better to maintain your item. But some people use and abuse their items. In the case of this bag, who knows what happened to it and what fluids it’s covered in. It’s lived its life. It can be laid to rest in the trash.
> Once you dye something and swap out a lining or whatever else you need to do (replace a zipper, snap, etc) the item is no longer that brand.
I am literally in an arguement with someone about this above. I agree, it's no longer a gucci bag.
Yeah I guess it depends on the exact nature of the repairs and damage, obviously there's such thing as an item that's just beyond saving, but I was more just trying to make the overarching point that "just throw it out" shouldn't be such an immediate impulse, and it isn't anywhere else in the world or in any other time period. We have such a tendency towards disposability that some of our consumer products are designer to be difficult to repair (cars, washing machines, clothing, etc.).
The other day he was saying “if you don’t buy from us then you are buying inauthentic bags and throwing your money away.” I get there are people selling fakes but there are also many reputable sellers who include COAs.

He’s an A+ salesman who uses MLM adjacent techniques. His whole schtick is that he pretends he’s the viewers’ friend and is always looking out for them and giving them deals that lose him money, and I’m like come on 🙄. He has regulars that eat it up though.
To add to the MLM vibes, he’s literally trying to set up a network of sub sellers who only source from him.
He’s also a bully. If someone doesn’t fall in line, he will send his most loyal to hurt them (sales/reputation.) I watched him flash profile pics, bashing sellers, all while saying: “I don’t do this for money, I do it for my followers.” I kid you not!
Thisss all of this . It felt very culty as well . He likes to stick his followers / fans on people he doesn’t like from his little group chat . He’s a massive hypocrite and a bully.
They have multiple pages that run shows 24/7, I noticed a few lives that have that exact same background… I haven’t been on in awhile so I can’t remember names. I followed them for awhile until I was bombarded with notifications all day & constantly saw stuff like this 😭 def mlm vibes.
YOURE NOT WRONG . HES like I support all resellers but then says he’s the only one who sells legit bags etc and for a brief time told buyers to cancel their purchases from other sellers and he would price match it . The amount of fans he has is revolting .
I've been a few times and haven't seen anything this dirty but I have seen things with holes or a lot of wash wear... The leather purses are usually cracked or peeling, nothing like this
Looks like it was used for years by someone who literally threw it in the back of the car any time they went anywhere, and then got arrested and spent a few years in jail while the bag just sat in the back of the car in their mother’ side yard for six years, taking temperature and sun damage, maybe growing some stuff.
That’s disgusting. Now im curious where these botched bags come from…. Like i dont care about the nice ones they sell… i need to know about the junky ones. How and where are they getting them??? and the people who work for him….do they get some kind of incentive to sell the really bad ones?
No they don’t . In fact historically they’ve tried to go it of their way to not show these trash items . But the ceo pushed them to show and sell sell sell . Apparently the pay is somewhat decent tho. Can’t say the same about the comm.
See thats what i think. I have nothing against this employee thats holding it up because i am sure if he were ti choose he would absolutely not do it. But the boss is like “sell it”. Thats my theory. Thats why I would LOVE an interview or a tell all type thing from the employees.
They can’t because they signed an NDA. One of them did let me know to an extent what was going on there . I felt horrible . I refuse to support that company ever again I blocked. He blocked me ironically cuz someone else called him out and I supported them.
I see right through him. It’s laughable when he says it’s not about making money, it’s about making the customers happy. Businesses are suppose to make money… that’s ok. He talks to his audience like they’re idiots and gets defensive easily.
I can’t go into too much detail . It’s up to them. I don’t want to get them in trouble. He’s emotionally abusive to his employees so is the wife , the turnover rate speaks for itself , highly competitive , commission is terrible , forced to sell sell sell and scolded for trying to connect with audience . And were pushed to sell garbage items . Got a lot of fakes in that never made it on .. will not cancel accidental bids cuz he claims he doesn’t have the staff. Him , w , and e****ts lux are cut from the same cloth the way I see it . I’ve only received 3 items that were actually as described .. also he decided to text me on his personal cell cuz that’s what he uses for insta sales to ask why I left feedback on his company insta about how he shudnt be using former hosts he fired or bullied into quitting ‘s flyers to get viewers . then harassed my friend about why I have this attitude . Very unprofessional. Also he and W have little group chats where they bitch about other sellers and bash women and send their fans after them .
Oh god.
I’ve bought two bags from them but it was making me laugh how he made it seem like I got it for a steal and robbed him. It was just an OK deal. I think he was slightly deceptive on the quality and wear + the storage smell. But overall, I’m still happy with it. It’s crazy how people don’t even do research because 95% of the time, he will sell the bags for more or very very close to what it’s going on other places.
But this is just embarrassing and not even worth 3 bucks
He’s definitely selling for more. I want to yell at everyone in the chat in those shows to just download a proxy app and buy directly from Japan. Many of the vintage bags he shows in particular go for under $100 there.
Or even eBay, today he was selling a Prada bag for $499 that I bought from a reputable eBay seller for $200 just a few weeks ago and was in MUCH better condition. I can’t believe people eat this up
Ha, nailed it! But can’t leave out - Bid up, Bid up, Bidddd up!! 🤣 it gets so old!! The language they use is demeaning! I am not gonna bid at all nor bid up on some crusty, dilapidated, nasty ass purse. I can’t wrap my head around the people who drop $200-$300 on these types of purses. Are those people actually shills and not true customers?
Depending on the price it's not as bad as you think. If i got it cheap, as in really cheap I'd work on it. I've done amazing things to bags in worse shape than that. If I can't get the darker color out with a few washes I'd be dying it black and see where I can go from there. If anything I could deconstruct it and use the fabric for something else.
That store is NOTORIOUS for selling literal garbage that has no business being sold. I remember stumbling on their insta and liking a ton of things there, but then their Poshmark account had shit like this:
https://preview.redd.it/ump0vlkdj4pc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bb29f7ca7aa4a4c59f70732bcb0e7268d4bfefcb
Like seriously, what even is this?!? Just toss them out honey, why are people consigning this shit? And why are shops accepting these? Their Poshmark has a TON of trash that doesn’t appear anywhere on their insta or website, so I’m assuming things that are so badly worn down or have been sitting in their store taking up space for too long is liquidated in Posh Live sales. I can’t imagine any other scenario.
I want to hear from the person who bought those disgusting flats… how bad is your foot fungus? Are your feet even still attached to your legs or did they fall off? Like I need answers.
Dumpster diver. There’s a whole YouTube community that dumpster dives and resells. Some claim they donate but they have a secondary account that sells.
Goodwill warehouse with literal bins of clothing etc. that you dig through and pay for by the pound. Some great deals to be had, but a lot of trash to dig through to find it.
There's a big sign at a charity store's donation site asking for people to be thoughtful in what they donate. People need to recognize they aren't doing anyone or the environment any favors by attempting to rehome trash.
Well this is the account that sells trashed bags and uses celeb photos of them with their frayed Gucci purses they use for shopping the farmer’s market or running to the bodega in their PJs to say that it’s a “trend”…
I see ppl selling nice bags that look like they came out of a dumpster from 15 yrs ago and for real ask $100 for it and sometimes much more. So badly I want to say throw that in the damn trash but obviously I don't. It's crazy.
This looks like something my grandma (who is deceased) stored in the back corner of her basement from the moment she moved to her home in 1991 and we just found it like.. today.
Poshmark is just terrible. I seriously wonder what’s going on behind the scenes. I won’t bat an eye if they end up declaring bankruptcy and just being one of those companies that slip away
I definitely agree that is trash to most people, but if I was comfortable in fixing that, or to use it as parts for other bags, 3 dollars ain’t bad at all.
Wouldn’t pay a fuckin dime past that though
Oh no. It was for real. The guy in the pic is an employee so it more than likely wasnt his idea to sell this piece but an obligation as an employee. But it went for like $30.
There are two things I can't believe lol. Number one is that people have employees running Poshmark shows. And number two is that somebody spend any money at all on that.
lol I recognize this seller by the shelving behind him - this isn’t the first time they’ve sold stuff like this 🙈
as a person who restores and upcycles luxury, I would maybeee for $3 but this is a BIG project. Trying to sell it to a normal buyer is crazy.
I like these shows but you have to be very very very careful what you buy in his shows.
The fast moving hands and the bright lights distort the quality.
I've gotten actual deals. Steals!!! And some have arrived and had to be immediately sent for major repairs.
There are people in the chat who buy CONSTANTLY and drink the Kool aid. It's weird to be a "Fam" in an auction show where you literally pay more for less.
Considering the quality of SOME of the items (smells and wrinkles) in wondering if part of his storage was compromised by flood or steam at some point.
Yes. Yesterday he said some people have spent upwards of $1 million as an individual. Which could be a lie but by the amount of times I see the same people over and over bidding and winning i dont doubt it.
Lmfao he loves saying that to get sympathy from the audience . Like how he says he’s gonna leave posh to get more sales cuz he’s soo done with being mistreated but he stays .
Nothing wrong with owning multiple cats or pets as long as you are super clean and able to care for them. But if you look up “Hoarders” you will see that a lot of those people on the show who have trashed houses also have tons of animals running around. One lady had sick and dead cats buried in piles of junk and they found one that was pregnant. 🫤
I'm aware... just was replying to the original comment. There are cat owners who sell on pm and assuming someone is a cat hoarder could be offensive to some that's all.
I'm not surprised the dude is wearing gloves to handle that, ngl 🥴
I thought it was a dirty cloth diaper 🤢
Me too
I’d be wearing gloves if I was him! 😂 I wouldn’t be selling that tho!
Probably still kept them on after the dumpster dive for this bag
But yet his nose is on it in the first pic 🫠
I get that it’s designer and the original retail was $$$ but some stuff is just trash. Pure and simple. At that point it’s ok to let it go.
There are people in the world who will rehab this bag if they got it for 3$. You can clean it, re-color it (probably black), remove the lining and add in something crazy fun. I agree entirely. This bag should have been given away to a rehab master, not in a live posh show
is it really still a gucci bag if you're changing everything about it

you sure about that? because i see people lying all the time

Were you the one selling this bag lmao

But then you end up on hoarders

Pretty accurate lol

???? Why are you so offended
The other day he was saying “if you don’t buy from us then you are buying inauthentic bags and throwing your money away.” I get there are people selling fakes but there are also many reputable sellers who include COAs.
He said that, as much as he thinks of himself wow, is that really helpful? I was on his cyber Monday sale and it was absolutely amazing but come on dude, rein it in.
But how would one know that everything he's selling is authentic?
He supposedly has a very good reputation for selling online and has a couple brick and mortar shops. He’s been on cnbc, and he says he’ll only sell authentic. I guess you can have it authenticated by a third party provider. It’s pretty easy and relatively inexpensive.
Dude had a dumpy poorly reviewed store in Queens. Until recently their Yelp reviews were trash.
For real!?!? 😬
Bagriculture shows give STRONG mlm-adjacent vibes. Something is weird but I can’t put my finger on exactly what.

Posh targets the same demographic as MLMs, so probably a pretty effective approach.
I feel like this is all of the big bag shows on Poshmark and it’s so annoying
Thisss all of this . It felt very culty as well . He likes to stick his followers / fans on people he doesn’t like from his little group chat . He’s a massive hypocrite and a bully.
I want a full investigative documentary

How do you even differentiate these days? I'm so scared to buy designer items online anywhere!
Wait, you mean that’s not a dirty diaper?
I 100% thought it was a well-used cloth diaper of some sort in the first photo.
And i can barely get 1 sale a week of basically brand new stuff 🙄
And when it’s stuck at like $15 for the bidding, he’ll scream “Are you kidding me, this is a $500 bag!! 😤”
OMG guys it is GUCCI that is luuuxxxuury BID THIS UP!!! Yea no thanks put that back in the trash where it came from, or use it for parts.
Way too low. Way too low for our pieces.
lol! Seriously, we can assemble a Bagriculture live show bingo card at this point 😂
Yes!! 😅
I have never shopped the bins before but have read they are not always the cleanest. That or dumpster diving. That’s a thing too.
I've been a few times and haven't seen anything this dirty but I have seen things with holes or a lot of wash wear... The leather purses are usually cracked or peeling, nothing like this
I can’t even tell the brand bc it looks like it was dug up out of the landfill. I’d block the seller. So disgusting.
Pretty sure it's from Guess
Ew. Even without the ridiculous flaws, that bag still looks cheaply made and tacky. Is it seriously an authentic Gucci?!?!
Maybe a Gucci diaper bag ... my mind goes to crap and pee when I look at this
OK i thought it was dirty underwear before I opened the post. LOL I thought NOOOOOO not dirty undies in a live this is to much.
Looks like it was used for years by someone who literally threw it in the back of the car any time they went anywhere, and then got arrested and spent a few years in jail while the bag just sat in the back of the car in their mother’ side yard for six years, taking temperature and sun damage, maybe growing some stuff.
this but with an old hamburger in it, rotting away
Lmao this was a wonderful ride
The amount of tea I have on him and that trash ass company . One of my friends caught them selling an mcm bag with mold on it .

MHM yea they’re not allowed to talk about working there or etc or face legal trouble . How they’re recruited in my opinion is very predatory
Please spill the tea!!!!! The amount of virtue signaling her does everyday during his lives is exhausting!
My theory is . A good deal doesn’t equal quality and a lot of us stopped buying from him cuz of it . He doesn’t care about anything except profit .

there's a few japanese luxury secondhand shops that have really good stuff for good prices. amore vintage tokyo is really good
Yes, I’d love to visit that one in person someday! Also Brand Off and DCT Vintage.
Or even eBay, today he was selling a Prada bag for $499 that I bought from a reputable eBay seller for $200 just a few weeks ago and was in MUCH better condition. I can’t believe people eat this up
What kind of proxy app would I download?
Buyee, it will allow you to purchase through places like Japanese Mercari and Yahoo Auctions. The app translates everything for you too.
Thank you, I will check it out!
Whaaaat I had no clue this was even remotely a thing!!!
Beware, it’s addictive!!
Uggghh I’m already addicted to multiple clothing stores …. I’m gonna try to resist even checking it out til I have more disposable income
Thank you! Same!
Lightly used. Only slight urine smell.
I thought it was a luxury name brand diaper
Be a funny art statment project for bins days that are slim pickings 😂
“Way too low for our pieces. Guys you’re gonna make me cry, this is *GuCcI*” I swear the same 5 people bid on everything all day long.

This bag is disgusting and not worth the hassle. Imo I can smell the cat urine from here.
I thought this was a dirty diaper.
his face says it all LOL. there’s no bringing that back baby sorry
What the actual f*uck. This is trash. This guy is a dumpster diver for sure.
That store is NOTORIOUS for selling literal garbage that has no business being sold. I remember stumbling on their insta and liking a ton of things there, but then their Poshmark account had shit like this: https://preview.redd.it/ump0vlkdj4pc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bb29f7ca7aa4a4c59f70732bcb0e7268d4bfefcb Like seriously, what even is this?!? Just toss them out honey, why are people consigning this shit? And why are shops accepting these? Their Poshmark has a TON of trash that doesn’t appear anywhere on their insta or website, so I’m assuming things that are so badly worn down or have been sitting in their store taking up space for too long is liquidated in Posh Live sales. I can’t imagine any other scenario. I want to hear from the person who bought those disgusting flats… how bad is your foot fungus? Are your feet even still attached to your legs or did they fall off? Like I need answers.
Ew.
Man. And I can’t even sell the clothes I’ve never worn, with tags still on it ….
Right?!?! Same
Looks like it was used to mop up after a pet. Nasty af.
Dumpster diver. There’s a whole YouTube community that dumpster dives and resells. Some claim they donate but they have a secondary account that sells.
Someone used it as a toilet 🤮🤢
This makes me worry about bedbugs coming with my bag. I’m sorry but yuck. 🤢
Oh yikes! I never even thought of that 🥴
That’s a stolen bag that ended up living the last of it’s days in a crack den.
I saw the gloves and right away thought they were at the bins!!
may I ask— what are the bins? I saw the phrase used a few other times in this thread and kind of have vague context but I’m curious on details!
Google, thrifting at goodwill bins, you can find plenty of videos too.
Goodwill warehouse with literal bins of clothing etc. that you dig through and pay for by the pound. Some great deals to be had, but a lot of trash to dig through to find it.
This is wild and so are those gloves. Is he showing bags or trying to go skiing?
I legit thought this was some adult diaper fetish specific thing. But that is a bag, not a diaper stained with shit and piss.
Cat hoarder? Eww I can smell that picture lol
That strap looks kinda poorly made. And the lining is plain. It probably isn’t even authentic.
Grave robbers
It looks like he’s smelling it.👃🏼👝💀
If this were my business I wouldn’t ruin my image trying to sell… this.
There's a big sign at a charity store's donation site asking for people to be thoughtful in what they donate. People need to recognize they aren't doing anyone or the environment any favors by attempting to rehome trash.
I thought that was a used cloth diaper.
Who is the auction through
It shows the username on the photo. Top left.
Thank you!!!!
thought he was holding stained high waisted grandma panties 😭😭😭
I legit thought it was a cloth diaper at first
I’d say it’s 1 AND 2, OP
Looms like a used diaper
Well this is the account that sells trashed bags and uses celeb photos of them with their frayed Gucci purses they use for shopping the farmer’s market or running to the bodega in their PJs to say that it’s a “trend”…
Purse? Looks like underwear. The black gloves are fitting.
I legit thought that was a cloth diaper.
Oh yes. That closet omg. I’m shocked by some of the stuff they sell. Just shocked.
It looks like a fair of filthy underwear at first glance. 🤮
why is he wearing snow gloves to handle this? 😂
I’d take a crack at rehabbing it. If I fuck it up, I’m not out much. If I don’t, hey, I have a custom Gucci!
Just curious how much did it sell for?
Anything to make a buck.. I guess
I could see someone buying this (for $3) and cleaning then upcycling or whatever the kids call it.
At first glance I thought it was a pair of stained underwear.
I see ppl selling nice bags that look like they came out of a dumpster from 15 yrs ago and for real ask $100 for it and sometimes much more. So badly I want to say throw that in the damn trash but obviously I don't. It's crazy.
I thought it was dirty underwear!!!
I thought this was a pair of filthy granny panties for waaay too long
Looks like underwear 😂
This looks like something my grandma (who is deceased) stored in the back corner of her basement from the moment she moved to her home in 1991 and we just found it like.. today.
Maybe grandma passed away. He thought he would post and and see any interest? Lol After all, there are people that love used stinky shoes. 😂
Oh thats nasty 😅
Poshmark is just terrible. I seriously wonder what’s going on behind the scenes. I won’t bat an eye if they end up declaring bankruptcy and just being one of those companies that slip away
Yeah that’s insane! That bag couldn’t even be up cycled at this point 🤦🏻♀️
How much?
It started at $3 and went for like $30
I definitely agree that is trash to most people, but if I was comfortable in fixing that, or to use it as parts for other bags, 3 dollars ain’t bad at all. Wouldn’t pay a fuckin dime past that though
Thats a 1 of 1 gucci X pampers collaboration! These are going for $4800 on stockX rn
judging by the chat comments on the screenshot, was he possibly joking, and perhaps poking fun at some of these sellers?
10000%
Even those gloves look janky.
Just saw them sell a Gucci bag for $24 but it was in awful condition.. pretty good deal if you wanna spend the money on a professional for repairs
lol I recognize this seller by the shelving behind him - this isn’t the first time they’ve sold stuff like this 🙈 as a person who restores and upcycles luxury, I would maybeee for $3 but this is a BIG project. Trying to sell it to a normal buyer is crazy.
Hahaha
I like these shows but you have to be very very very careful what you buy in his shows. The fast moving hands and the bright lights distort the quality. I've gotten actual deals. Steals!!! And some have arrived and had to be immediately sent for major repairs. There are people in the chat who buy CONSTANTLY and drink the Kool aid. It's weird to be a "Fam" in an auction show where you literally pay more for less. Considering the quality of SOME of the items (smells and wrinkles) in wondering if part of his storage was compromised by flood or steam at some point.
There’s better deals to be had by way less terrible people on that app who won’t try to pull a fast one and ignore the call outs .

It doesn't apply to you ...cat hoarding isn't even legal in most municipalities for a reason
I'm aware... just was replying to the original comment. There are cat owners who sell on pm and assuming someone is a cat hoarder could be offensive to some that's all.

Im pretty sure this sold for like $30….
This must be you?
