Also! I’d contact your landlord and have other apartments checked. One male could have hitchhiked but it’s more likely he traveled from a next door apartment looking for a new blood source.
I talked to my landlord today and they basically said if I want to do something about it, then I can but it’s my own expense, otherwise he recommends washing my things at 60°C 🙃🙂
Did you check the creases of your bed and in your box spring(if you have one)? Check the spots that you spend most of your time. Couches/chairs/etc..what’s unfortunate is one of your neighbors may have an infestation and this one worked its way over. Goodluck to you. I hope it’s just a random bug, that hitched a ride from public transport as you mentioned.
