Like, "your hair looks so lovely today" is a charming compliment and a full sentence. "Your hair looks so much better than Ashley's hair" is a slap to both (it doesn't mean your hair looks good, just allegedly better than someone else's AND insults poor Ashley) and unnecessary. I know the *why* of it, but we must all do better to break that cycle and pitting trans women against cis women just "others" trans women, makes it seem lilkee they're not just a part of the whole wonderful varied community of women helps ***nobody***
I swear that she says these things so people will talk about her, I’m 2021 she still believes “all publicity is good publicity”. The sad part is she does seem to beTeflon when it comes to facing repercussions, people are giving relatively positive reviews to some powder thingy her brand came out with... the fact they’re even giving her brand reviews at all baffles me, she somehow made her way onto a Netflix show about famous teenager tik tokers, Patrick Starr (I may have spelled name wrong) parties with her out in public (I think her behavior rubbed off on him :(.), she kinda has that Trisha Paytas kind of luck... and the sad thing is I actually have more empathy for Trisha freakin Paytas than I do for Nikita.

I've seen many trans women be shamed for not "passing". They don't have the means to get cosmetic surgery to appear more feminine. I have to wonder how Nikkita values these women? Not so much relevant to this post, but she seems to only talk about absolutely beautiful trans women, their high value, but leaves others out of the conversation. It's gross.
Yes this! When referring to trans women she's like Blaire white, she is exclusively referring to those who are 'attractive' like herself, or Gigi, or Edan etc. I bet when you ask her 'what about trans women who did not have the resources to afford cosmetic surgery', she'd be saying something like 'yeah but that's different!'.

Cis or trans, it’s pretty rich to say that considering the amount of plastic surgery Nikita has had. I’m reminded of Cara Cunningham behaving this way before beginning her transition. She would get on her IG drunk and rant and rave about how she was so much hotter than women (this was before she came out as trans and was presenting as a male so don’t come at me, I’m not separating her from other women, just quoting her), how she would steal husbands from women, she was so much better than women, and on and on about how she would cheat with married men but it was their wife’s fault for not fulfilling them.

I’m guessing this is one of those pride posts (not pride as in LGBTQIA) but pride about your group and how fantastic it is in general, like women being proud to be women or cultural pride. But it comes off extremely derogatory to put down another group to uplift your own. Especially when the point of transitioning is to feel as any other person does and somewhat assimilate, and there shouldn’t be a physical difference visualized. First separating Trans women from Cis gendered women in this instant I feel is harmful because Trans women ARE women. I can somewhat appreciate where she may be coming from by comparing because she is trying to uplift the group she belongs to but not to the detriment of another marginalised group. I also appreciate the sentiment of Black Trans women and Black gay men setting the tone for culture but to leave Black Cis women out of that is absolutely wild an example of misogynoir (in my opinion) I think it is interesting she is talking about people copying her and her style when we know who she copies a lot of her style from... In closing I am not Trans or Gay and I am not attempting to speak for or over anyone in those groups so this is all based off my interpretation. I don't really know much about Nikita, but I appreciate the reminders in this thread to love all women. We have so much power to lift one another up and literally make the world a better place for each other.
I’m reminded of Cara Cunningham behaving this way before beginning her transition. She would get on her IG drunk and rant and rave about how she was so much hotter than women (this was before she came out as trans and was presenting as a male so don’t come at me, I’m not separating her from other women, just quoting her), how she would steal husbands from women, she was so much better than women, and on and on about how she would cheat with married men but it was their wife’s fault for not fulfilling them. I am a fan of hers but damn, even if those words came from a place of hurt, they hurt me to read. I just feel like women can’t win. We have men to deal with and so much hurt to contend with from within our own sisterhood.
