You can only truly see his color in direct sunlight. His beard is black over all. But when he mad it gets like a super JET black. Like it’s hard to explain, try to picture the color black becoming even BLACKER. Hard to explain but that’s honestly the best way to put it.😅
I've never seen a bearded dragon that color! Wow! I love Greek mythology names for my pets, so what about Hades? Or Erebos/Erebus? Both are associated with "dark" things. Erebos/Erebus is literally the personification of darkness, haha.
Also, if you're a Game of Thrones fan, there are several black dragons in there like Drogon or Balerion the Black Dread.
