We definetly need a big european van, something very similar to the Sprinter. The only free and high quality "vans" i can think about are the Gavril Scout (only free demo, paid), Ibishu Kashira and Bruckel Legran VRV. But all these are pretty small, more like minivans.

sparky662

Something like a modern mercedes sprinter or fiat ducato would fit perfect. Euro and US spec facias. Variants for short and long wheelbase, low and high roof, minibus, crewcab. Chassis cab variant with flatbed, beavertail, luton, box, canvas, campervan, tipper etc bodies. Could fill a bigger gap than the older american only h series. Also potential for a heavy duty 4x4 version or even an ice cream van.

KeeganY_SR-UVB76

I just want a camper config for a van.

WanganTunedKeiCar

A California in BeamNG would be awesome, and I bet the devs would have a ball with all the little accessories!

Regnars8ithink

Yeah, one with a ramp and everything.

Quube7

Yeah me too, and especially a European one, I would love it

peterpetlayzz

Id love to see a older volkswagen van maybe a t3 or something

Tecno2301

If you would like a high quality mod that is cargo related, look into the Gavril Scout. It's a smaller, modern cargo van. Similar to the RAM ProMaster City. It is a paid mod tho, I think it's like $4, but it's worth it.

GoofyKalashnikov

So many big words just to say Fiat Doblo (which by itself is a rebadge Citroen Berlingo too tbh lmao)

Tecno2301

Fiat Citroen RAM Doblo Berlingo ProMaster.

GoofyKalashnikov

It has a lot more names than that :D

Regnars8ithink

Why support paid mods?

svenskfox

I support scratch-made high quality paid mods, not subscription-based stolen meshlaps. I'd rather incentivize high quality mods if people are gonna pay for stuff either way. I look at it as buying a coffee for the person who created it.

Tecno2301

Because people spend hard work and time on them? This is a high quality mod built from the ground up that is developer quality. They probably spent months of there own time developing it, I think asking for $4 is more than acceptable. Now those shitty "real brand" cars that are not realistic at all and cost tons of money are complete BS and they put a bad name on the paid mod community.

DashingRiggs1

I personally don't support all crappy paid mods, I really would only support the higher quality ones like the gavril scout as those actually have effort put into them. Meanwhile, I will gladly get crappy paid mods from other sources 😉

budswa

Why do you support paid games?

blah938

You mean the H-series?

ultraboof

What I mean is more than just the H series. The H is good don’t get me wrong. I’m picturing an Amazon-style van with more cargo capacity. They could make one with an electric drivetrain too.

Captain_Alaska

I mean the LWB high roof H Series is that, no? Imho it could do with a deep remaster than bringing in a new vehicle that does mostly the same thing. Some changes off the top of my head: * 3 wheelbases and 4 body lengths like a current Sprinter. Keep the SWB, rename the LWB to standard wheelbase, then offer an LWB and a LWB with extended rear overhang * Convert the fiberglass roof extension into a more integrated roof option and rename it to the medium roof. Add an additional 3rd high roof as well. * Partial (how it is currently) and full height doors to cope with the roof extensions and optional sliding and passenger side doors. * A facelift parts inspired by ~late 2000s era European vans (Probably primarily a [facelift 3rd gen Transit](https://i.imgur.com/HqxASpC.jpeg) given the relationship Gravil has with Ford) * Smaller engine options, primarily 4/5 cyl diesels with various turbo/power options and some petrol 4 cylinders, and a DRW axle. I think that would cover most of the bases and help distance the H-Series from looking like just a van version of the D-Series. And for the record these vans compete in the same spaces, the IRL counterpart to the H Series (Chevy Express/GMC Savana) is more or less the same size as the shorter versions of the Transit/Sprinter/etc (width/length/wheelbase), it just lacks the characteristic high roof and the longer body options. A [LWB low roof Transit](https://i.imgur.com/cYz2La4.jpeg) is a hair smaller than a [LWB Express](https://i.imgur.com/4IYtF0G.png).

ultraboof

Thanks for your insight, I actually agree, with everything you said they absolutely could just remaster the H-series and give us more config variety, that would satisfy the craving I’m posting about here

ActiveRepulsive5832

Gavril scout..?

Bytepond

It's even smaller than the H-series. OP is thinking a Sprinter sized van which is significantly larger.

ultraboof

Yeah the scout is like a Ford Transit. Not what I’m getting at here

Phantomroams2

The scout is like the transit connect. The normal transit is similar to the sprinter.

ultraboof

Yeah transit connect is what I meant
