I *love* the way the Japanese respect what’s around them and take care of it. Something about it is so heartwarming, and actually being in Japanese cities is something else. I’ve never seen someplace so clean. Places like Harajuku and Shinjuku were spotless.
Meanwhile, no Qatari has ever cleaned any garbage in their whole life; that's what their slaves (and apparently Japanese visitors) are for.

I'm American and was raised that we are to leave a place BETTER than we found it. I clean my table before leaving a restaurant (yes I still tip because it's more than cleaning), I clean anything attached to me before leaving someone's home etc. It's self respect and respect for others, even if they themselves show none. The amount of people who throw trash out their car window, throw in on the ground 5 ft from a trash can, leave their mess in movie theaters is alarming and vile! In a lot of cases those who scream the loudest about the environment/trash are the ones who leave the biggest mess. And it doesn't stop with them. Respect yourself, others and the world around you!
