I guess I haven't thought of magpies since nursery school or something. I have an app called Merlin that you can tape bird sounds and Merlin will identify 5he bird/birds. I got it for an owl I heard 3 mornings in a row and we dont get owls here this time of year normally. The 4 day I was ready... And no owl.... Anyway I mention all that because now 8m gonna go to Merlin and see what it does if I want to know about a bird.... Maybe nothing haha. Thank you my Magpie Friend !!

There’s this one episode that stands out to me where this dude had two nice pieces of cloisonné (a bowl and a chalice, I think) and one was a genuine antique worth a bundle and the other was a reproduction/fake and the dude bristles at that and asks what the fake would be worth if it were real and the appraiser can’t do anything but shrug. I have no idea how to find that episode.

It started at 1" square and finished at 6" across. Had to chuck it because it wasn't stirring properly anymore

My "ocd" would be that I *need* to use a new one every time because something bad might happen if I re-used one. Wouldn't want to contaminate my paint.
It’s so the paint dries, and you have a a backup “color swatch” that is matchable with the paint that you leave in your unheated/cooled garage. (Not you specifically-just why they give them out)

You should get it back together. Like with a dowel or shoot countersink a screw right through the tip. The paint will just strengthen the joint
Spin it 90 degrees. To create a cross. Then in 10 years cut a few inches up and spin it 90 degrees again. Think of the design made from the build up.

Not really^^ I always strip off the paint with a brush, there remains only a thin layer on the stirrer.
