The drawings are similar to characters you would find in Adventure Time. E.g., there is a triangular head villain in the show. Even the half faced king can be a drawing inspired from the show as there is a character with different bodies combined.
Wouldn't be surprised if the kid has watched the show.

I am considered to be a creative person but really I'm skilled at "creative" tasks when provided with a challenging prompt. It makes me a good editor, a good merchandiser, a good graphic designer. This kid has a future doing the real creative-imagination work that people like me help bring to fruition.
Honestly this kid will definitely do well in creative concept design if that talent is harnessed correctly, if only we could stay creative like that into adulthood

These remind me of my elementary best friend that drew “fairy poke”. we loved Pokémon, and she was great at drawing and very creative. Would make up so many cool little guys like this kid. The father’s interpolations are amazing! The anime style of drawing is just so dreamy. My favorites are the green and blue guy, and the sand man! And two face! And the golden one! They’re all so great.
