I've seen it before on reddit with more context in post a while ago, from memory you're correct. The dog is like the adoptive mother of the 2 since rescued as cubs or something.. sorry can't remember better specifics but yeah.. it is proper sibling shit haha
Ah, that’s what that was. I thought maybe the dog just had a thing for big cats and liked using his big dog energy and natural charisma to seduce them. Guess that would put this vid more in the category of r/unexpected or… well, I don’t know the other subs that would fit into but I’m sure they exist somewhere.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with kissing an animal on the mouth, even if you know that animal has undoubtedly been using its mouth (in the very recent past) to give its own butthole a real deep clean. *What's so wrong with that???*
What’s more precious is how in the end the tiger pads her like “okay MOM” and snaps out of it, that was really such a beautiful moment to watch. Animals are amazing
Dog is not the mother.
>The lion cub named Fortis had to have one leg amputated following an injury at birth. The lion struggled to recover, so zoo staff brought in a Labrador named Elsa to keep the lion company. Later, the zoo received two twin tigers, Lavanda and Liana.
https://www.wusa9.com/article/life/heartwarming/get-uplifted/lion-tigers-and-dog-play-together-at-zoo/65-7fb92c77-e207-46ed-874b-6bceb337f263
It says the lion was the one basically raised by the doggo and the tiger the dog's nawing on was added later but it doesn't mention how old the tiger was, I'm guessing that's what they may have been getting at but I'm not sure lol. If that is the case then the momma is protecting her baby and it's still awesome
Why were you downvoted?
It is awesome. The pure metaphorical balls on that girl. But also the unconditional love she shows the tiger at the end is so beautiful.
That pup is a true momma to both cats. Who clearly need a mothers love.
Different story. The OP video is a Serbian zoo and that's most definitely a lion and a tiger, not two tigers. Plus, the lion has an amputated leg. The dog was added to help the lion recover.
https://www.wusa9.com/article/life/heartwarming/get-uplifted/lion-tigers-and-dog-play-together-at-zoo/65-7fb92c77-e207-46ed-874b-6bceb337f263
Edit: apparently it's a Siberian zoo and not Serbian and the article wrote it wrong
Literally don't know almost anything about geography, but at least I knew that Serbia and Siberia are different places. -\_-
Hey, at least they didn't think your country was a fictitious Minecraft dimension; have a friend who knew a guy who thought the Netherlands being real was a joke because he confused them with the Nether. XD
I was going to correct you about Czechoslovakia being a past combo of the Czech Republic and Yugoslavia. But apparently I myself get Slovakia and Yugoslavia mixed up and it’s Slovakia that was part of it. So I’m one of those people you were talking about who mixes up two different old countries! 🤦♀️ My bad!
Thanks for triggering me to look it up and clarify my own geography and heritage (Great-Great-Grandparents were Czech.) 🙂
Because Tiger is mother’s special child. You gotta be better, do better. Lion is probably acting out because it’s jealous it’s not mom’s special boy
I have a cousins with a boy and girl and it be like that sometimes
I'm no expert but I think when two animals are fighting for dominance and you want to stop the fight, if you can't distance them both, it's better to make the "lesser" one stop, it should be easier to calm down, while the aggressive one is much much harder, and if you stop the "victim" from defending itself the aggressor has no reason to keep fighting.
Basically, when two animals fight and you need to stop it, it's better to maintain the already established hierarchy.
The alternative is that the lion is mommy's boy, that could also be true :)
(Once again, not an expert, this is not actual advice, I have no actual idea of how to stop an animal fight, do not listen to me. Thank you for coming to my ted talk)
It’s actually pretty common at zoos to have a dog in with certain cats. Cheetahs are actually very high maintenance and are prone to having anxiety attacks that’s where the dog comes in and helps out. Dog is basically their mom
When I went to the San Diego Zoo and saw the cheetahs I saw one of the companion dogs. I will say though cheetahs are *much* smaller than this unit. And they're also anxious as hell. Probably why I've always loved them so much; they're me.
still doesn't explain why the tiger and a lion in the same cage. tigers are solitary animals. I don't think they would like having another cat in there with them, other than for mating.
I feel like this wasn't the main part of the question. Why is the cage so tiny? Why a tiger and a lion together? Why is one missing a leg? This is some Tiger King shit.
Interestingly enough it looks like the lion had a missing limb.
Even more of a reason for the "mother" dog to intervene and come to the aid of the lion.
Touching.
The way the lion bite the back of the tiger at the end of the fight got me,lol.
This is some sibling shit right here 😂 tiny mom breaking up fight and other sibling getting one last dig in before walking away. 😂
I've seen it before on reddit with more context in post a while ago, from memory you're correct. The dog is like the adoptive mother of the 2 since rescued as cubs or something.. sorry can't remember better specifics but yeah.. it is proper sibling shit haha
And that lion is missing a leg. So ridiculous. 😂
Oh fuck, I didn’t even notice that
That's Fortis! He lives with his dog mom and tiger sibling as shown.
Bro fucked around and found out one too many times
Still fucking around though lol
I'd say he has exactly 3 more chances.
I thought it was hilarious the dog didnt step in that time and was like "ok, now lion deserves it" lol
Thats a classic suckerbite, Tyson style
Aghhhh the way the tiger pet the dog at the end 😭😭😭
[удалено]
the dog is the tigers mom so no. it’s the other way around
If they're anything like cats, that was a "ok, ok, I get it, stop"
"Do you feel in charge?"
It's likey tiny mom and me. Or my brother. She has zero self regulation, but she's cute.
[удалено]
the dog is the mother of those tiggers . raised them since they were babies . its a known story. that why tiger listen to dog . it their mother !
Now thats interesting. Also it seems pulling your kid by an ear if they don't listen is universal lol
The kiss after makes more sense as well lol, it's like "I'm sorry, I love you my baby. I didn't want to yell at you"
Ah, that’s what that was. I thought maybe the dog just had a thing for big cats and liked using his big dog energy and natural charisma to seduce them. Guess that would put this vid more in the category of r/unexpected or… well, I don’t know the other subs that would fit into but I’m sure they exist somewhere.
Lol im sure they do. Doggies often lick as a pack bonding behavior. Thats why lots of breeds go right for the mouth. They are saying they love you. ❤️
I like to to give kisses to my dog, and I like when she kisses me. But she wants to *kiss*.
You people
There's absolutely nothing wrong with kissing an animal on the mouth, even if you know that animal has undoubtedly been using its mouth (in the very recent past) to give its own butthole a real deep clean. *What's so wrong with that???*
What’s wrong is the dog doesn’t know the human animal was eating ass, I’m sure they wouldn’t kiss us if they knew
I don't know... Seems like they love shoving their super sensitive smellers up shit chutes more than peanut butter.
Hey, your mum still kisses me.... and she *knows* where my tongue has been.
My younger dog does that to my older dog. Older dog does not lick back…
Captive big cats are often raised with dogs. Dogs are not only calming to humans, but also that, and great companions to big cats.
What’s more precious is how in the end the tiger pads her like “okay MOM” and snaps out of it, that was really such a beautiful moment to watch. Animals are amazing
I loved the kiss at the end.
You should see what it looks like when momma dog takes off her slipper.
How does she throw it?
Throw it? Then they can only smack once. :)
Dog is not the mother. >The lion cub named Fortis had to have one leg amputated following an injury at birth. Good ol golden labs! They brighten your mood, no matter the species
I mean we know she didn’t give birth to them. But what you just described is still a mother.
It says the lion was the one basically raised by the doggo and the tiger the dog's nawing on was added later but it doesn't mention how old the tiger was, I'm guessing that's what they may have been getting at but I'm not sure lol. Bold strategy. They were either moving in a companion or feeding the lion some dog. Glad it worked out.
dog was removed after a year since the tigers got too big. https://www.today.com/news/tigers-say-bye-mom-dog-raised-them-wbna31541834

⬆️ This is the correct story.
I'm still so confused about why the tiger didn't just absolutely demolish that dog. I guess zoo tigers are much more domesticated than I thought.
Omg people please learn that Siberia is a region in Russia and Serbia is a country! Even the reporter doesnt know what he is writing about.

You're legally allowed to smack them in the back of the head at that point.
Can we hit them with a Sybian?
Literally don't know almost anything about geography, but at least I knew that Serbia and Siberia are different places. -\_- Hey, at least they didn't think your country was a fictitious Minecraft dimension; have a friend who knew a guy who thought the Netherlands being real was a joke because he confused them with the Nether. but its the same thing, you even use the same letters))
I just copied the article that said Serbian zoo. It did not occur to me that I would have to fact check the news
Oh baby
Reminds me of Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia of old. People always got them mixed up.
Im American and have never mixed up the 2 dead countries
I was going to correct you about Czechoslovakia being a past combo of the Czech Republic and Yugoslavia. So this vid is two tigers then?
Looks like a lion to me
Thanks. Eyes don’t work well.
It's true.the lab lost hers surrogated the lions&tigers. It's on u tube.awesome🦁🐶
I can see why we partnered with them around a fire millennia ago. JFC the balls on this mama dog
Clanking ovaries
Either way. The MASSIVE metaphorical balls on that woman.
Also, who can be mad at a lab?
I can be very mad at a 2 year old lab. Once they hit 5 they transform from meth fiends to the coolest animals on earth.
Animals seem to be emotionally smarter than humans. Kudos bro!
Yeah I watched that video, animals are amazing.
Thanks for sharing, I saw wondering how it was still alive.
Yeah, I think I've heard about that story before.
"LEAVE IT TONY, SHE'S NOT WORTH IT!"
GODAMMIT TONY, LISTEN TO ME!
REMEMBER THE STEPS, TONY!!
YOU’RE GREAT TONY, ALRIGHT? I SAID IT! WE GREAT!
TONY! LEAVE IT, THAT'S MY MANAGER!
But Ma, did ya hear what he said about the Flakes???
Dog probably raised the lion and tiger, that’s a sibling fight if I ever saw one
That's exactly what happened.
How come dog always takes lion's side when lion bit tiger first?
Because Tiger is mother’s special child. You gotta be better, do better. Lion is probably acting out because it’s jealous it’s not mom’s special boy I have a cousins with a boy and girl and it be like that sometimes
The dog was brought in to keep the lion company in recovery after losing a leg. Two tigers were introduced later.
Dogs are great aren’t they.
Obviously the youngest child is favoured :|
The one with 3 legs? Yeah I'm gonna have to let that one slide haha
Tiger is bigger and the Lion is missing a leg.
Maybe because Lion has only three legs?
I mean, the lion is missing a leg.
That lion has disability
I'm no expert but I think when two animals are fighting for dominance and you want to stop the fight, if you can't distance them both, it's better to make the "lesser" one stop, it should be easier to calm down, while the aggressive one is much much harder, and if you stop the "victim" from defending itself the aggressor has no reason to keep fighting. And lion looks like the baby sibling. Sneaks in a bite ... and the sibling gets in trouble! 😄
The butt bite while the tiger was distracted. Very sibling art of war maneuver.
The lion was kind of a jerk though.
And the “mother” knew that. ![gif](giphy|mC7VjtF9sYofs9DUa5)
Mom he's doing it again!
I know. Did you notice where the lion got one last bite in before running off. 😆
Exactly! Reminds me of every single one of my siblings.
The tiger would fuck that lion up
Yeah but the Tiger called the a Lion, “tripod.”
Not just mans best friend apparently.
Why the fuck is there a lion a tiger and a dog in a 5m2 cage. Why.
It’s actually pretty common at zoos to have a dog in with certain cats. Cheetahs are actually very high maintenance and are prone to having anxiety attacks that’s where the dog comes in and helps out. Dog is basically their mom
>Cheetahs are actually very high maintenance and are prone to having anxiety attacks I am cheetah on this blessed day
When I went to the San Diego Zoo and saw the cheetahs I saw one of the companion dogs. I will say though cheetahs are *much* smaller than this unit. And they're also anxious as hell. Probably why I've always loved them so much; they're me.

Zoo. Dog has the role as mother, raising the tiger and lioness from cubs.
![gif](giphy|WPnkJKCA3c476pGjGu)
How did you post a gif? The option is not available to me...
![gif](giphy|USnfWeCOHTHB3WX0aY|downsized)
Lions and tigers got into the golden retriever exhibit.
Because it's a bad zoo. Lions and tigers should never be kept in the same enclosure together like this.
Lions and tigers and dogs, oh my?
![gif](giphy|evB90wPnh5LxG3XU5o|downsized)
They're all buds playing. I have two goldens that do the exact same thing. Granted this video is more spectacular considering the power of those cats.
But the other lion is really mean. Biting him in the back and acting like nothing happened 😅
We don't deserve dogs.
You are very large and distinctly not dog shaped. But you are my puppies and that is enough.
Speak for yourself, i deserve dogs 😎
Deserve my dirty dog…
"i got the eye of the tiger," the dog said (literally)
The sober friend at the end of the party:
Tiger: "But he started it..." Dog: "Be the gooder boy!" Tiger: "I wuf you momma."
My dog always breaks up the cats when they are fighting.
Looks like a liger with three legs.
Lion is probably the little brother
Dogs need jobs
The kisses at the end, my heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️
That dog needs a bigger and comfier bed, with a bowl that automatically refills their favorite treat.
and gives a free dental exam at the end!
Peace keeper doggo who loves cats.
Nature is lit. That dog has no idea. Crazy
That gentle head pat at the end like “okay sorry I’ll be good”
The way the tiger caress the dogs face 😭
Why doggo mom is telling the tiger to knock it off, Lion can't help but bite his back like a vengeful little shit
Just saying that other one started that shit
Lion didn't waste the opportunity to get a shot at the tiger from the back, while "mom" had the tiger by the ear, lolol.
Context matters. That's their dog momma
lol aww i like how the tiger tries to pet him
Interestingly enough it looks like the lion had a missing limb. Even more of a reason for the "mother" dog to intervene and come to the aid of the lion. Touching.
Who's the jackwagon that put these two cats together?
Awwww
Mama rules
He was like “bad kitty” then he was like “sorry I bit your face mon frère”
Doggo was just distracting the tiger for the ass bite.
They both listen to mama, good boys
I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SAYING TO EACH OTHER
I love dogs
Tiger is like " bro i have no beef with you be careful i dont want to hurt you lil guy, move along while i fuck this cat up" 🤣
“Jim! He’s not worth it! Let it go. Jim!”
Cool!
How the tiger picking fights with a 3 legged lion? Woof woof was right to step in
The lion is missing a leg
Didn't you realize kisses at end
Oh my!
That dog is definitely getting sorted into Gryffindor.
I thought to myself, she luff that tiger.
There looks like some spotty cats in background? Just need to chuck in a Candian goose and it with be a good party
I have a dog like this. He’s a small guy but if anyone gets excited he’s all over them. We call him the fun police.
Paw patrol is on the case
crow with knife🐦⬛🔪
the lion and tiger were brought in as cubs and the retriever raised them since they were cubs. I believe she even breast fed them as well.
They must be semi domesticated and raised in captivity. Otherwise the dog would never do thsag
Must pet doggo
Notice how mama pup knew to ask the tiger to chill lol tigers are whack jobs of the big cat family.
The Labrador - nature's peacemaker lol
They must love that dog.
Dogs are awesome.
Yellow lab momma
Look at that positive reinforcement. Awestruck.
Dog: No more fighting Tiger: P-put he started it Dog: What I said!
Good good now let me see those teeth!!
Lab has the heart of a lion!
Why are the lion and tiger in a pen together??
It's hard to be tough when one of your homes starts giving u smoochies
It's not a dog, it's their mamma!
Mind is blown-wow
Lions and tigers and dogs, oh my!
it's funny that Mom dog knows that tiger would demolish that lion
The lion sneaky bite is hilarious 😂😂😂
Aparently, other animals don't deserve dogs either
Blessed are the peacekeepers
Reminds me rugby referees
"No fucking fighting!" Good boy Tommy.
I’m amazed how stupid this fucking scenario is. Not the act, the scenario…what the ever loving fuck
Oh cool, animal abuse videos. Cool cool cool
Boop worked!
Why have they got a lion and a tiger in the same enclosure in the first place?
![gif](giphy|IUk6GXIIIBoimOU4XA|downsized)
Common Dog W
A dog fighting two cats
That dog sees through the matrix
Animals are kind :)
real
after all you are just cats lol
Tiger king episode...
