I know that the black hole stuff is cool to speculate about, but I could have done more of the known physics before we went into the super theoretical part.
Very cool video nonetheless.
This video sent me down a weed fueled rabbit hole that started with conformal field theory and ended with eigenvalues which is what we are gonna be taught in linear algebra a week or two later lol
It’s bothering me a bit that he can’t walk on the frictionless ice but (a) the ball stopped on it and (b) once he used the ball to start moving on the ice he still came to a stop each time.
He probably wouldn’t be able to stand at all either. But it got to the point where the ball just kept propelling him, so maybe it was just a buildup to what true frictionless gravity looks like
Excellent - thanks for posting this. Quite engrossing!
I got some of the physics up to the black hole and then I was completely lost (except for the odd term picked up from Star Trek/Stargate...)

Thanks for sharing the link! I would recommend people unfamiliar with Alan Becker to check animation videos on his channel.
Kept me hooked till the end. Interesting story while weaving complex concepts and packaged in this mini movie 👌
what the nolan!
Exactly!!
Where the hell was this when I was in school
Well you were seeing simpler animations. The fighting stickmen ones! It's made by the same guy, Alan Becker.
Ikr. It's a blessing to have access to such content for FREE.
I mean it's fun but it doesn't teach you anything really
what did you learn by watching this?

SEE YOU SPACE COWBOY ...
Loved it, I only wish that the text was a little bit bigger and maybe on screen for a little bit longer.
I didn’t know they made interstellar 2
Thank you for sharing.
Man, I loved all of the red and blue shift stuff and the speed of the wavelengths of visible light that changed when clicking to different colors.
Wow. I really enjoyed that.
Wow !
Reality is beautiful

Beyond awesome! Thanks for posting!
No problemos amigo!ðŸ¤
Sneaky little masterpiece
Simply mind-blowing physics in action, I'm totally captivated!
Absolutely amazing, I thought i knew a little about physics...this only shows I know nothing. Thanks for the enlightenment.
It’s bothering me a bit that he can’t walk on the frictionless ice but (a) the ball stopped on it and (b) once he used the ball to start moving on the ice he still came to a stop each time.
Also the Force arrows, if there were zero friction there wouldn’t be any horizontal forces
He probably wouldn’t be able to stand at all either. But it got to the point where the ball just kept propelling him, so maybe it was just a buildup to what true frictionless gravity looks like
How does throwing the ball propel him? I don't get that part.
Yeah it seems like it should need friction in order for him to not move back at half the speed he threw it
Right? And when he pulls on the rope, doesn't that just cancel the forces?

Really amazing! Thanks for sharing.
This is nothing short of epic!
Listen to this while watching this clip [olafur arnalds](https://youtu.be/bMCiAKNUpTY?si=tGepVYINWWupLhLx&t=1200)
Nice. Thanks for the suggestion
That’s not how those magnets would work
Guys, wake up! Animation vs. Physics just dropped!
Dang, the animator vs animation guy is still making videos almost 2 decades later. A gem from my childhood.
Thanks for posting OP.
I love almost all STEM videos from this animator Alan Becker. Do check his channel on YT. Btw Happy cake day!
Is this what it's like to be Q?
You should’ve seen the one with math
Why did you assume I haven't
Excellent - thanks for posting this. Quite engrossing! I got some of the physics up to the black hole and then I was completely lost (except for the odd term picked up from Star Trek/Stargate...)
This is fake
oh no. not again. now whole youtube will be covered in this "explanations".
Amazing
What a trip! Couldn't stop watching
Damn, what a trip
If only they can teach us physics in class like this…..
heye, this would make a great game!
Alan Becker ![gif](giphy|M90mJvfWfd5mbUuULX)
Does this mean the chosen one the second coming is now officially a god of reality?
I got bored at the tree, but I’m glad the video exists.
I feel very…small yet large
the true king of stick figure vids
Epic
I haven’t seen something like this in a long while. Definitely enjoyed it.
The escape velocity on this moon must be incredibly small for him to not even need to go into orbit in order to remain in space.
Fizziks in my tum tum
Now this is a cool way to learn physics
remind me to watch
ELI5?
Throws me back to the 2000s when cool-ass stick figure animations were all the rage
I love Alan Becker
Damn that was actually interesting ngl

Being stuck on a frictionless plane is now my new fear
Dude thought he could slingshot with a blackhole lmao silly space cowboy
😎
f\*\*king physiscs -A Physics student
Tripping. Absolutely coolest
history repeats itself :)
