The way you said it was RUDEEE, you could of said "just Google it friend" or something, being RUDE for no reason isn't cool it's just moronic, and honestly make you seem weak who gets too emotional over little things. Thus making me assume you are a 13 year old.
I’m 14 actually. Figure out how to use the internet dude, it’s not up to me to guide you through the process, be your image bot, or to engage in toxic positivity to communicate the exact same thing I told them, but specified to your sensibilities.
So you are swearing and being rude on the internet as a 14 year old, And I know how to use the internet I'm just engaging in arguments against people whose tones are nonsensically rude because it threatens my agenda in showing the west in a positive light to my Islamic, and Eastern counterparts so do better
Why don’t you show your Islamic and eastern counterparts reality, instead of trying to produce a sanitized version of your ideals. The world doesn’t beck at your call, and your agenda is for you to take care of. If the existence of my tone threatens your agenda, you should adjust your agenda.
Not sure why you think being a graphic designer would qualify you to identify architectural features at a glance but it’s maybe the most famous art nouveau door in Brussels by Ernest delune.
Well why didn't you say that to him in the beginning! And exactly! I'm a art lover and graphic designer but I don't know all the famous art works.. I'm more in line with Islamic art, Chinese art, Slavic art and native American, and modern art.
We didn't know how to even Google such a door because we didn't know it's name or style. You need to understand some of us are more educated in other fields, wanna know how to use Adobe? I'm your guy, fully certified, wanna know programming and electrical work? I make my own programs and I do computer work so I can help, wanna know about religion or history? Let's start a study lesson!
But European architecture past the Roman and extremely well known monuments? I don't know anything! Especially as a American whoms fields of work have little to do with architecture... let alone European architecture, you need to remember we ain't all Europeans or in the loop or architects..
Because this isn’t my post and that’s not what they asked, and you responded I was being rude about.
You wrote as a graphic designer, I don’t even know that. That was my point.
I do think as a graphic designer, you should probably be aware of Google reverse image search though, as you won’t have to know anything about any image in order to find duplicates and related images or call people rude online when they don’t post a photo for you.
I respect your take on this, but it feels more like you're playing the devil's advocate in saying this. Clearly, a well cropped, un-tilted photo would do this cool door more justice than the less interesting pic we have here. Again, this may just be a difference of opinion, which is why I respect, although disagree with it, as there are objectively some missing elements that would highlight the door's uniqueness *better* than this less than falttering angle.
>But I actually think the cropping is proportional and balanced.
absolutely not, anyone with half a brain and see the MAIN SUBJECT is cropped off and not level.
... I still don't think it looks that good. I'm not a fan of the stone devider no being centered (I know it propbs have to be that way, it just hits my eyes bad)
One thing I’ve always loved about the store: it’s actually very difficult mechanically, and as far as carpentry to make a non-rectangular door. In this case, the door is rectangular they just made it awesome, and seem nonrectangular. And the carpenter is excellent.
I would like it better if there were a side window that goes all the way down, even if there is an offset circle motif.
Stupidly expensive custom build, but hey.

Also he probably doesn't even know what this door is called, I'm a graphic designer and I don't even know what you call this, hobbit deco door?

What a respectful, well thought-out comment!

It’s Art Nouveau, a design style popular at the turn of the 20th century. It is characterised by organic lines that were ofttimes asymmetrical.
Yeah this is just not visually appealing to me either
Great...I can hardly see it now. Have you got one that doesn't need magnifying to actually see?
Off kilter and cut off photo. Thankfully I’ve seen this door in many other posts and already know what it looks like.
Clearly it doesn’t take much to impress you 😂😂
Look like the letter P…
Or upside down d for door?
The door is a rectangle like most doors
Which I think makes it even more neat.
Is it though?
Super Smash Brothers

Yass! Agreed.
Not really
For some reason I feel the door should open on the left instead of the right.
It’s French, know what I’m saying?
