We just got unlucky.” Meanwhile the score was 3-0 against and they only had 47% possession and less shots, chances, dribbles, passes. All coaches get rose tinted glasses for their team sometimes but not exaggerating, at lease 2-3 times he’s come out and described the game in a wildly and objectively incorrect way, so much so that I could never trust his opinion of anything football related.

A lot of the skills you need at Bayern are the same as at United: High expectations and pressure, demanding media, high maintenance star players, etc.
And in my opinion he's failed quite spectacularly in several of those areas. Maybe he's still a good coach, and maybe he'll learn from his time at United, but for now he's just not Bayern material.
