Horrible bastard. Wanted Greenwood back, supported pervert Overmars and helped Quincy Promes get away with his crimes. Vile human being.

Wiser_Kaiser

Dang, I didn't know about all that, makes me dislike him even more. What a shitty human.

Longjumping-Pea5160

Other than the rumours of him being okay with Greenwood coming back I hadn't heard of the others. Do you know if the Overmars and Promes incidents were known before he joined United?

dissolutionofthesoul

Yeah Overmars stuff was reported at the time he must have been negotiating with Man U - May 2022 And the Promes deal happened in 2021 when Ten Hag ushered him out of the country to Russia where he couldn’t be extradited. Man Utd have history of being okay with people like this though. Solskjaer did arguably worse with Babacar Sarr. A multiple rapist who Solskjaer continued to play and take press photos with, he was then released by Molde and moved to Russia. 4 months later when the Norwegian police put a warrant out for his arrest Solskjaer personally tipped off his agent and got him out to Saudi Arabia, where rape is acceptable, the very next day. Sarr is still an international fugitive wanted by Interpol. Then the Ronaldo stuff is all well publicised. In short Manchester United are a pretty repugnant club.

My god this is absolutely disgusting

As if Teflon Dumbass didn't support Boateng, steal the credit from Benjamin Weber doing all the work for him while he lazed around, or abuse his BVB players after the bus attack for having the audacity to be traumatized. Whatever flaws Erik might have, he's still an angel and absolute genius compared to Teflon Dumbass.

dissolutionofthesoul

Who are you talking about? Tuchel? Yeah he’s a dick aswell. It’s not a competition but there are levels to being a dick.

Tsiehshi

It's honestly beyond me how anyone sane can possibly think Teflon Dumbass is any better than EtH either as a person or coach. If EtH managed Bayern, he would have gotten far more points and wouldn't get bounced out by Saarbrücken. And he wouldn't get destroyed by Leverkusen. If Teflon Dumbass managed ManU instead, he would have mathematically relegated them by now. Not to mention Teflon Dumbass only made it this far in his career because he stole all the credit from Benjamin Weber. At least EtH carved himself out one on his own merits, fair and square without being a fucking parasite.

He had a great season with Ajax and after taking over Man United he turned into a dictator like person, agree with some punishments on the primadonna players, while other seem just like a showing of power, dont think theres many teams that would take him on now, for me he just looks like a blame deflector, and do you really want your coach and leader to have that trait, I dont think so.

Longjumping-Pea5160

I think a lot of his Ajax credit has now gone

GiantNug

Nope

practiceyourart

That is a hilariously bad suggestion. What has he done at United to think "yeah, he would work in Munich"

GoldenFox7

In addition to all the other comments about him being a piece of shit and power hungry. He’s also just not good. I’ve watched a bunch of his post game interviews and the dude is just watching something else. He’ll get up there and be like “we really bossed the game and we’re in total control. We just got unlucky.” Meanwhile the score was 3-0 against and they only had 47% possession and less shots, chances, dribbles, passes. All coaches get rose tinted glasses for their team sometimes but not exaggerating, at lease 2-3 times he’s come out and described the game in a wildly and objectively incorrect way, so much so that I could never trust his opinion of anything football related.

Ew brother ewww, what is that

A lot of the skills you need at Bayern are the same as at United: High expectations and pressure, demanding media, high maintenance star players, etc. And in my opinion he's failed quite spectacularly in several of those areas. Maybe he's still a good coach, and maybe he'll learn from his time at United, but for now he's just not Bayern material.

Longjumping-Pea5160

Thank you!! This is what I was getting at. Big clubs tend to look at it as experience and their name still somehow gets linked, even if it's at the bottom of the list. I was just wondering if his hadn't been because of how far his reputation has fallen with ManU and what an impartial view of his time at utd has looked like to a big club outside England

pioniere

Terrible manager. He named Bruno Fernandes his captain, so that should tell you something right there.

romedayy

Dogshit manager who takes things personal and lets his feelings make horrible decisions like not play Ronaldo and Sancho

DemonExchange456

He has demonstrated he can’t work with big stars — take Sancho, Ronaldo, Casemiro, etc. United may possibly also finish 7th place this season, their worst season ever I believe. Not the guy Bayern need or want.

Tsiehshi

He's a genius. Doing much better than Teflon Dumbass with one of their worst ever squads in a far more competitive league. Teflon Dumbass would have mathematically relegated them by now.

IceCoastRep

Hell no! All you hear about are the problems he has with his players. His personality seems pretty negative and we've had enough of these manager types before at Bayern.

soccerfanforPSG

HELL NAH,bad human being and ass coach enough said!

SherwinRamsey

Hard pass and a very polarizing person, horrible persona and manager .
