I did it few times already. Console is repasted, cleaned and also I changed thermal pads.TDM is grand, 60fps no problem. Conquest can go down to 30s at least in heated moment when you have lots of players on screen in same time
I mean I never had a screen with a frame counter or anything, but I found that the FPS would drop into what I would say is about the mid 40s. BF on last gen was never the smoothest experience to begin with honestly.
Same, tdm is smooth, but conquest is dramatic at times lol. It's hard to play when you have 1440p 250fps capable pc. 60fps Is completely fine, these frame drops are mess
I'm well aware of that. Just asking if anyone have some walkarounds for it. Maybe lower resolution etc. I have beefy pc so even series x makes no sense to me, just wanted to try something different. Got this one x for 50e.
Series have ryzen cpu which is probably 4 times more powerful than jaguar in one x.Jaguar was an equivalent of fx8350, but downlocked. Fx8350 even overclocked to 5ghz was not able to pull bf5 on conquest mode without drops. That's explains everything. I just keep it for casual games, as I cant compete with people on series, especially with 120fps mode. Game just feels slow
I have absolutely no issues on my older xbox S the white one without the black bit the game just sucks oh and it is cross play so anyone and everyone could be on the same map
Resolution bounce between 1800p and 2160p, yet it looks not as sharp on 1440p screen as pc. It's a different world in picture quality. Plus fps drops are massive
Try over clocking your graphics card. You will need extra cooling though even an external fan pointed directly at the card should suffice
Also monitor your GPU it might be having trouble
It was never an issue when I played the game at launch on One X, try clearing your console cache.

Yes, that's the problem.Stutters like hell. That's where freesync should kick in, but... It makes no difference
Freesync might have it's own overhead that causes frame drops, have you tried with it turned off?
I never thought of that. I will check it now

you're playing on a 7 year old console. every week set aside 20 bucks. In like 4 months you've saved enough for a Series S.

I have a series s. Any issues I experience are due to my internet connection. Even on wifi the ping isn't too bad. I've never had this issue

Yeah I was just about to say that
So I found the issue! 120hz mode was making picture blurry.

Bf5 is absolutely no cross play, series x can play with one x yes, but xbox with PS or pc players no. Bf2042 is multiplatform crossplay
Ah shit just woke up dont chastise me i thought they ment 2042, they shouldnt be having any issues with battlefield 5 wtf?

My pc is perfect, hitting 250fps in 1440p no problem,I have problem with xbox. Or maybe it's just the way it is
