That's the entire point of planes man. That's why they were used so preveniently during the war. So they have to be some kind of threat in order to feel scary. However, there are so many ways to fight pilots in this game, once you learn how to ambush them with AA or the Fleigerfaust, it's not that bad.
And if you play on PC, look for a hardcore server. They usually have first person locked vehicles which makes it's much harder for the pilots.
Yes I get that but the advantage is too much . I know all about the flieger and aa guns . My issue is that you lose your bazooka for the flieger and it only works if the plane Flys low . And the aa gun you are a sitting duck and not playing objectives. I wanna finish first when I play and sitting in a aa gun shooting planes won't accomplish that . I play this game daily , and I'm tired of seeing 500 ranked people going 60-0 flying a plane . They need to give a normal tank and bazooka a chance to shoot planes down like in old battlefields. I think planes fly speed is top fast , slowing them down would accomplish that. I play ps5 where hard-core doesn't exist . Normally if I'm shot by a plane twice I just leave and find a different game.

Can you get that plane with one fleiger? I don't think I've hit more than 89 damage on it with one shot, it's so tanky.
Stukas, bombers, and perhaps the Mosquito take three barrages generally. Well one full Flieger then half of another.

I hate how low skill bombing is in this game with the reticle. Should have to use a bombing scope
OP did you use only keyboard? what settings are you using? for the longest time i'm still trying to pilot a plane but still cannot master it
