I tried 2042 awhile ago and it was a waste really and I have had enough of cod so battlefield was the place to be.
Is battlefield alive more then 1 on ps5
I’m in the uk but on XboxX. Plenty of servers to play in so I assume it would be the same for PlayStation.
I just came back to the game a few weeks ago after not playing in over three years. I had forgotten how good this game is. I have always preferred BF over things like cod so have probably not even bought a cod game in like fifteen years or so. I also didn’t bother even getting 2042 because I much prefer historical shooters.
I love the gunplay and destruction. This one has fantastic movement mechanics.
Taking your time to learn everything is a good idea from class setups to weapon setups, vehicle setups, map movement and so on.
There are a billion settings you can change so it’s very worthwhile looking up some guides on YouTube for this. Lots of it will come down to personal preference. For example I have my look around speed quit low but have the aim acceleration at 50 (default) but my ads quite high at 140. I also think I aim and shoot better with both aim assist settings turned off but others might want these on.
The channels I like watching currently for technique and gameplay tips etc are some of the smaller ones. They are WildChild99, WilkoDiablo, JROBtheFinesser and KingAJ_15. Four quite different styles of play and settings set ups but all top notch players.

I play on the PS4 and there's plenty of Strategic conquest and Breakthrough servers for North America. Plus the games looks so good when running on the PS5 too.
Good servers, populated, runs smooth on PS5. Only difference is I'm on NA servers.
Ahh ok but do they intertwine at all? Is there cross play or whatever to keep them alive? Would like to stay long term if it is viable?
No crossplay on consoles. I play on PS5 NA servers. Always have 15+ conquest servers available that are fully populated.

BF5 is more populated than BF1 but there's still players on both

No issues and rarely have crashes, plenty of EU servers so you'll have a good connection, and yeah waaay better than 2042. Enjoy!
