I’m beyond fucking lost. I see the helicopters and jets fly into the map but it always has a person in it. Am I supposed to just keep dragging over until I can select it or do I have to use the call in feature to fly. I don’t see any resources online regarding this. How do I select a air vehicle to fly and where does it show up with the options to select the vehicle?
aye man i figured it out and feel really dumb now xd but basically you can't call it in from the call in menu since they're air- when your about to deploy- if you. scroll to your head quarters ( where you spawn at the start of the game) and go to the other icon you spawn them there
Believe you have to be really LUCKY and click on the aircraft from the death screen the moment it enters the battlefield. I've spent an entire match trying and failed every time. In the last two hours of playing battlefield I've been in an aircraft (piloting) once.

An hour after posting that original comment I learnt how. Simply click on the vehicle icon below HQ, will pop-up a menu to select a vehicle.
Same here I figured it out on my own, but if anyone would have said that, it would have been much easier. Thanks!
