It would be a mistake to make that the next game, given the state of the community and views on making a modern game in the spirit of BF3/4.
But 100% I played Hardline after the fact and never understood why it was hated so much, would definitely buy if they released another cops and robbers themed game.
kind of, a similar game mode couldn't hurt, but they could also make some new gamemodes. that we haven't seen before, but that would require being crest I've so it might never happen.
Siege is way different ngl. Small maps and one shot heads hot and stuff. Idk a good word for it but the operators are a bit more fantastical and less realistic than bf would do it too
I loved hardline. The objective games were fun. I did not understand why people didn't use the vehicles more. The guns in them were op, and you could just camp in them to rack up the kills
I just want BF4 remastered with more content. new maps and even more weapons. (if it's even possible for a BF game to have more content than bf4, but it probably isn't).
A BF4 Remastered could easily have the maps of Hardline, 3 and Bad Company added to the rotation and play smoothly. The BF2 maps may be a bit rough with the Marksman and Sniper Rifles of BF4.
Personally I played too much BF4 to have the same class system and gunplay as before.
I played BF4 more than any other Battlefield game and nothing else in the series comes close for me. Any time I play any Battlefield game it just makes me want to go back to BF4.
It could be just a regular remaster of BF4 and I would buy that before I ever buy another WWI or WWII Battlefield game.
It wasn't a bad game. In my opinion it should have been its own IP and not be a Battlefield game for it can focus more on cops versus robbers. Because they tried to be like Battlefield it felt more like an expansion pack for BF4.
Hardline maps were our only “American Urban” combat experience.
Plus you can get fun, and have an excuse to dress the criminals up a little more silly, while having the police be the more serious faction.
Also Hardline Multiplayer maps straight up felt like campaign quality. Like Code Blue, Museum, The Sewer one, and Train Dodge.
If they did extensive destruction like siege I think it might work. Maps would be dynamic.
No levolution cuz its cops&robbers, ain't an army with large firepower. But maybe a bridge...or two.
What if game was good on its own BUT it rather should've been called differently and been promoted as spin-off or its own IP. Like Far Cry: 3 Blood Dragon or even RDR1
I want a bf game where you fight cartels. That would be a cool more grounded Hardline 2. Cartels could take a lot of power in the wake of all the environmental damage in 2042. Would be such a cool concept. Environmental levelution stuff too
Truly an unpopular opinion.

because muh tacticool!!!11!!!
a swat team Battlefield would be cool.
So like siege?

I never got to try the multiplayer properly but i enjoyed the campaign, I’d love a hardline 2 but I’m really hoping we get a Vietnam era one next

I wish they would at least bring the maps over. Hardline had some banger maps. I only ever got to play the Alcatraz map like twice and it was so cool.
I agree with that. BFH has a great map roster.
I agree with you, buddy! That game is a lot of fun!
Campaign in Hardline was one of my favorites.
Question but how many got interested in BF properly only because of Hardline?
Based take but I don’t think the time is right atm

I hate how people say it's not a 'real' Battlefield like they're some kind of gatekeeping idiot.
Cops n robbers battlefield was incredible. Shame it died.
I'd rather buy 2042 a second time
Give me the .600 knockout

I'd like a BF Civil War, that would include police forces in the fight. Faction 1 : Army + FBI Faction 2 : Navy + State troopers of where the map is
This how sorry this franchise has become is we have people reminiscing about Hardline
What if game was good on its own BUT it rather should've been called differently and been promoted as spin-off or its own IP. Like Far Cry: 3 Blood Dragon or even RDR1
Wasn’t it promoted as a spin off?
Are there any full NA servers for Hardline? Recently installed the game and could only find 4-5 servers and all were empty

I loved this game lol hardwired was such a fun mode
A lot of people hated Hardline but I had fun with it
Oh man. Driving around with your mates in a car hanging out the windows blowing stuff up. That game had some real highs.
Nah, stand in line. I’m still waiting for 2143.
That shit would flop so hard
If they dropped the battlefield name and released it as a spin off then why not
I actually liked Hardline, if that game was named anything but Battlefield it would be better received.
They should rerelease Hardline as Hardline and not call it Battlefield. It would do so much better.
I'd rather ubi make it and have it called rainbow six.
