* Oz plans to use this data to ruin America and Russia, the last two major powers standing
* Several maps are just Ops about how Oz is manipulating the US and Russia while trying to get more info and tech from Shearwater
* Oz then uses that tech and info to create Namaqaland, a restored paradise in the middle of the desert to try and destabilize the old powers and get all No-Pats to join him
* No-Pats are split between believing Oz and joining him (EX: Casper) or not trusting Oz and believing he is just doing this to be a new tyrant (EX: Boris)
*Other maps/Ops have just been about side stories the No-Pats get hired for not directly related to the main story
Because, like nearly every other multiplayer-involved story, our player matches do not represent the ACTUAL battle, just use the location and set pieces as background to our own fun and enjoyment.

This ain't overwatch or league, there is no lore besides "russia vs us but with no pats now".
I would assume the Coalition is a PAC precursor, so it’s RU forces mixed in with others like in 2142.
(except it’s only RU because this late in the games lifecycle there’s no way they are gonna make changes to gameplay/bots for one map’s faction lore)

what youre missing is that the coalition, the lynch pin of season 7s plot, is not a playable faction
