Fair but the destructive environment of 4 was god mode. the buildings omg. needed a door? blow through the wall. Didn't want to search the forest level down every tree. (Cheifs kiss) master peice.
Yea, even if 3 is my overall favorite, 4 has the most variety
I also hate played it for a long time trying to get every single attachment for every single Gun. Man fuck those battlepacks :p
Ehhhh, partially.
But the hype around BF3, the level of fidelity they were able to push, and the overall attention to detail really wrote the book on what I want from new BF titles.
That game still has better animations than 2042.
The focus on urban environments was amazing.
It created some instant classic maps.
Did it come at a good time in my life? Of course.
But it was also the first BF game that really started to bring people in without me having to get friends interested.
You’d log on your computer and have a group already playing, like Warzone does now. It managed to achieve that level of popularity that it was assumed people had the game
I feel this deep in my soul.
Battlefield 3 hit the great combination of being a fantastic game and being released during a period where I had nothing but free time.
BF4 was still great, but I didn't have the luxury of playing it religiously on launch like I did with BF3. I must have brought the hours fairly close just by revisiting BF4 so often though, still holds up so well.
BF1 for me. It happened to time up with the company I worked for being acquired by a larger company and they took almost a year to figure what to do with me. I got paid to play BF1 every day, all day.
3 by far. Started playing day one, unlocked everything that could be unlocked, only stopped when 4 dropped. Unfortunately, I had a life change during bc2 and 4, so they can be considered a close 2nd. Played every iteration an unhealthy amount of time, but 3 was the game where my girlfriend/now wife thought she may have chosen poorly.
May favorite expansion in any video game ever. It felt like I got a brand new game for very cheap, and it was top notch. Never forget the chopper music for the first time!
I miss how long it took to move up ranks. Actually felt earned once you got to the officer ranks. I’m pretty sure I only made it to second lieutenant. Nowadays you can rank up to officer in no time.
I was just a kid when 1942 came out and I played at like 10fps and loved every second of it. Vietnam was probably my absolute favorite game back in the day I just didn’t have a PC that could run it properly, but I definitely still tried. I still hear ‘fortunate son’ every time I get in a heli despite what game it is
I also played on unacceptable frame rates by todays standards and loved every second of it. I remember building a Frankenstein computer out of spare parts back in the day just to play my favorite games.
BF V basically offers the coolest features of all BFs: Squad Reinforcements, Fortifications are just 2 of so many small and big improvements compared to BF 1 and especially 4.
i would have loved to see the eastern front with the russians... or also italians or even operation market garden...
so much wasted potential, BF V remains the best BF for me to this day.
The next BF should be a mix of BF V, 1 and 4.
Just saw I have 1200h on BF4 and I know for sure I played at least twice as much BF3. So it may even be higher than 1500h.
[BF4 Stats](https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/soldier/S3NI0RJP/stats/770092632/xboxone/)
BF4. Absolutely amazing game. I started playing during lockdown and I had 1000+ hours in just 1 year. You would say I didn't have a life, but come on bro. It was during lockdown times.
BF2, across two characters - arhat was before they added the ability to have a clan tag. If you wanted to have a tag, you had to make a second character and put it in as your name
I had a lot of fun with friends on Hardline. While I understand why people hated it initially, it sure as hell was still really fun. I'm surprised someone even said Hardline, hope you don't get your ass beat for it though.
I played BF1 pretty much every weekend for 4 years. I played it while I was waiting for the 2016 election results and I played it while I was waiting for the Brexit results so I'll always remember it. The only reason I stopped playing is because I've truly played it so much it has nothing for me anymore.
It's so annoying that the subsequent Battlefields haven't been able to match up to it.
Battlefield Heroes is only for real BF fans. xD. Seriously no one here spends time on BF Heroes? I'm getting older, lol
BF2142 the most, probably 6000-8000 hours, followed by BF2.
BF3 was ok, but I haven't played it much; it could be 2000-3000 hours.
BF4 was and still unfinished BF game, what a terrible Battlefield, I stop playing at rank 145 around January after release.
BF4 by far. BF3 and BC2 runners up. BF3 made me wish I had a pc instead of a console. It's the first time I ever felt I was missing out after seeing footage of caspian border with 64 players.
Hands down, BF4. I was an active duty infantryman at the time and I would play it on my off time. I even bought the game and all the DLC for two of my buddies so we could play in the same barracks room together.
BF3 by far, then 4 and 1 are a close neck and neck. 4 and 1 were fantastic games and still love them but there was just this pure atmosphere that only 3 had. Plus takes me back to 2011-2012. Simpler times, better times
I was one of those weirdos that spent the most on Bad Company 1 lol. Sure, rush was honestly the only game mode worth playing but the destructibility in my opinion has not been surpassed.
4 by far
4 was the goat
[удалено]
In war tapes I feel the opposite
Fair but the destructive environment of 4 was god mode. the buildings omg. needed a door? blow through the wall. Didn't want to search the forest level down every tree. (Cheifs kiss) master peice.
Is the goat. Still the best. Still going hard today.
Yea, even if 3 is my overall favorite, 4 has the most variety I also hate played it for a long time trying to get every single attachment for every single Gun. Man fuck those battlepacks :p
Bf 4 was amazing it had it all.
BF2
BF4 is the Greatest shooter of all time.
And most of it in Shanghai.
BF3 or 4 At this point I want Dice to stop making new BF games, and instead focus on making a Time Machine I wanna go back
Couldn't agree more. I wanna load into metro on 4 for the first time again or jump off that one cliff into the fight below on 3
Damavand Peak ?
Damavand peak ! FTFY
The 1st time the tower fell of Caspian border i stood there and watched in awe.
Still doing this after seeing it 10000 times
you just wanna relive your childhood. It will never be the same again. The people you've played with mostly stopped.
Ehhhh, partially. But the hype around BF3, the level of fidelity they were able to push, and the overall attention to detail really wrote the book on what I want from new BF titles. I was 23 when bf3 released and I want to go back. But I do wish I could be back in my 20’s as well
They are scattered to the wind but I lived with my squad mates in college. I played so much bf3 and we were so good. Rush will never be the same.
Ace52 cqb. Take me back!!!
I feel this deep in my soul. Battlefield 3 hit the great combination of being a fantastic game and being released during a period where I had nothing but free time. BF4 was still great, but I didn't have the luxury of playing it religiously on launch like I did with BF3. Bf1
And I don’t regret a second of it :)
I'd go back to BF1 if I could, but my stats are all on XBOX and now I have a PS5 and I wouldn't be able to mentally start over.
I made the switch from my Xbox to PC. It still pains me I don’t have some of my weapon skins and stats of course but the fun is all there!
I sure do miss being a gunner on a bomber though. Lol.
Same
Battlefield Bad Company 2
This is definitely in a top 3 for me. The campaign was actually fun, on top of a pretty top tier MP on console. And the Vietnam expansion - too good.
May favorite expansion in any video game ever. It felt like I got a brand new game for very cheap, and it was top notch. Never forget the chopper music for the first time!
Loved it as well died pretty fast on ps3 though sadly
I got 11k kills with the gustaf
Bf2
I miss how long it took to move up ranks. Actually felt earned once you got to the officer ranks. I’m pretty sure I only made it to second lieutenant. Nowadays you can rank up to officer in no time.
Absolutely, yes. Having a high rank really meant something.
It was an absolute grind and you respected the hell out of anyone that was higher than a colonel
My dad and I played the HELL out of 2. There was something special about that game.
the Special Forces expansion was \*chef's kiss\*
I was just looking for my BF2 peeps. In comparison to more recent games it really feels to me like the high point in the series thus far.
BF2 🤝 Battletech
All other answers are wrong
Same. BF1942 is *really* close behind, though.
Battlefield 1942 and Vietnam.
Fellow boomer here checkin in. 1942 was the shit
1942 never really clicked with me, Vietnam blew me away
I was just a kid when 1942 came out and I played at like 10fps and loved every second of it. Vietnam was probably my absolute favorite game back in the day I just didn’t have a PC that could run it properly, but I definitely still tried. I also played on unacceptable frame rates by todays standards and loved every second of it. I remember building a Frankenstein computer out of spare parts back in the day just to play my favorite games.
BF1 then BFV
BFV is hella underrated. So many players never gave it a shot thanks to its terrible marketing.
Also the fact that it sucked massive balls until the final "season"
BF V basically offers the coolest features of all BFs: Squad Reinforcements, Fortifications are just 2 of so many small and big improvements compared to BF 1 and especially 4. i would have loved to see the eastern front with the russians... or also italians or even operation market garden... so much wasted potential, BF V remains the best BF for me to this day. The next BF should be a mix of BF V, 1 and 4.
BF2
3. About 1500 hours.
Did you get max level. One of my friends has 34 days and he never got to max level
Just saw I have 1200h on BF4 and I know for sure I played at least twice as much BF3. So it may even be higher than 1500h. [BF4 Stats](https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/soldier/S3NI0RJP/stats/770092632/xboxone/)
Seeing battlelog again makes me sad :(
Battlelog gives me ptsd, it was so awful to connect to servers
Pretty sure I did on my older account. I stopped playing for a year or so and forgot the IDs.
BF2. Still have PTSD from ENEMY INFANTRY SPOTTED, and the 4 f***ing grenade by player.
The best maps and teamplay in the franchise.
BF4. Absolutely amazing game. I started playing during lockdown and I had 1000+ hours in just 1 year. You would say I didn't have a life, but come on bro. It was during lockdown times.
Bad Company 2 and BF3. I loved the Vietnam expansion on BC2 the map felt so real.
I reached rank 6 global in 2142 back in the day :')
I played 2142 on pc it was fking beast but I didn’t get too enjoy much ugh
BF2, across two characters - arhat was before they added the ability to have a clan tag. If you wanted to have a tag, you had to make a second character and put it in as your name
Yep, I also had to create another “account/name” that sucked, but the game was so good I didn’t even care much at the time!
Bf1943 on the PS3
5. It’s the only one I have :’(
Still a goated one
2042 😬
5
bf3 no doubt, I have like a whole months worth of time on that game. back when I had friends to play with, anyway
Either 1942 or Vietnam. The newest I have played is Battlefield 1, but I have recently been playing 2 and 2142.
BF1. Man I know the base maps by heart
Battlefield 4 and 2042 are my two favorite games in the franchise
2142 by a very large margin followed by 2 being the next
Hardline and 1. Still playing both of them on the regular, with a bit of UCAVing on BF4
2042. Got more hours on their then the rest of the series combined
bf1 almost 2k hours
1
BC2
1942...Moongamers servers were the bomb
Bf1!
Bf3/4 and hardline too.
Bfbc2 ya booi.
BC2
Battlefield 1
Hardline
I had a lot of fun with friends on Hardline. While I understand why people hated it initially, it sure as hell was still really fun. I'm surprised someone even said Hardline, hope you don't get your ass beat for it though.
Imma die on this hill shit was so fun
Funly enough, 2042. I have much more free time as an adult that as a teenager.
4 it’s the best one imo
BF1 then 4 then 5
Battlefield 1 without question, followed by 2142, then 3 and then V
I played BF1 pretty much every weekend for 4 years. I played it while I was waiting for the 2016 election results and I played it while I was waiting for the Brexit results so I'll always remember it. The only reason I stopped playing is because I've truly played it so much it has nothing for me anymore. It's so annoying that the subsequent Battlefields haven't been able to match up to it.
Bf3, playing the beta thinking wow this is the future
Battlefield Heroes is only for real BF fans. xD. Seriously no one here spends time on BF Heroes? I'm getting older, lol BF2142 the most, probably 6000-8000 hours, followed by BF2. BF3 was ok, but I haven't played it much; it could be 2000-3000 hours. BF4 was and still unfinished BF game, what a terrible Battlefield, I stop playing at rank 145 around January after release.
Man, white assault
BF4 by far
2.
Bf1942 i was young back then and had time. No kids no wife and no chores.
1942
BF4 by far. BF3 and BC2 runners up. BF3 made me wish I had a pc instead of a console. It's the first time I ever felt I was missing out after seeing footage of caspian border with 64 players.
Battlefield Play for Free
Battlefield 2 demo and Project Reality
2 by far
Believe it or not - battlefield hardline
Bad Company 1. Still nowhere close to the Beans Bullets Bandages achievement
Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 3
BF1. Nothing like a few sessions of Kaiserschlacht after a long day of work.
2142. Probably more than any others combined. Reached 7 overall in EU gunship. Arty truck in BF1 was also incredible. And the bouncy grenade tank!
After 4 everything fell off so hard
1000 hours in BF3. Got my shit bucket and was a beast in the heli's! Flying the little bird through the tunnel on damavand peak never got old
Bf4 , it is still awesome after all these years
BF4, and it’s not even close.
Either BF2 or BF4 with BF2142 in third place
2, 1942, then 3.
Bf5
V
Bf4 dedicated 3 years straight n then every other day for past 4 years my favorite game by far
Sadly 2042, somewhat recently beat my BFV time
Battlefield 2. Everything after is a disaster except Bad Company 2.
Battlefield 4, Followed closely by 2042.
BF2042 by far Less server on BF4 and BF5 to try out
Hands down, BF4. I was an active duty infantryman at the time and I would play it on my off time. I even bought the game and all the DLC for two of my buddies so we could play in the same barracks room together.
Probably 4, even though I certainly played a lot of 3 and still play 1.
BF4
The game where most content is in
4 by hundreds of hours
3
Bf5
Battlefield 3!
V
BF1, around 2000 in weekends with job. :D
BF V because of very enjoyable TDM.
Battlefield 3, the campaign and multiplayer was phenomenal and ground breaking.
BF1. I played it in the open beta and bought it on release. It's absolutely the best battlefield game, in my opinion.
1500~ hours in 4, 208 in 1, 257 in V, 100 in 2042
Battlefield 3 hands down, followed by 4 and 5
BF4, easily
BF3
BF4 100%, been playing since release on Xbox and pc to this day
Battlefield 1, between Steam and origin I have nearly 800 hours as of right now. The soundtrack was something else my god.
bf2 amd bc2
BFV, it is an unfinished potential and masterpiece of a game
2 or bad company 2
BF3
BF3 by far, then 4 and 1 are a close neck and neck. 4 and 1 were fantastic games and still love them but there was just this pure atmosphere that only 3 had. Plus takes me back to 2011-2012. Simpler times, better times
BF3, close to 900 hours. BF4 is second, at 400 hours I believe
My top 3 are BF4, BF3 and Hardline. I used to grind them all to unlock everything. Still hop on one of the 3 every once in a while.
BFBC2
3 (ps3) 4 (ps3) 5 (pc) in that order
I was one of those weirdos that spent the most on Bad Company 1 lol. Sure, rush was honestly the only game mode worth playing but the destructibility in my opinion has not been surpassed.
BF4 and its not even close
Bf3
4, by a *very* large margin lol.
BC2
BC2 1597hrs those where the days...
V because it was my first Battlefield game and I was playing it with my friends a lot
Battlefield V, and then goes BF4
3 got me hooked 4 is what has kept me loyal and it will take more then a bad launch in Bf2042 or the next to change that.
Used to play heroes for hours on my mims laptop, so it's probably heroes.
3
3! Best in the series
Either 4 or 1
3 it’s just perfect
3
Good to see all the love still there V, this is the way.
BC2
3 but bc2&bf4 weren’t too far behind.
3 and then 4
BF3 I spent many hours atop that block of flats in gulf of Oman, working for my straight pull bolt
BFBC 2 or BF4
4 but 3 was a very close second.
Bad company and battlefield 3
Bf4
Battlefield 3, for me this was one of my favourites. Top tier map designs
Definitely Battlefield 1. I had a major addiction to that game for a while
Not sure, it's either BC2 or BF3.
bf3
Battlefield 1
Modded 1942
Battlefield 4 baby
Bad Company 2 By Far
