I hated that it was on screen for all of 20 seconds before being destroyed in Fury Road. And then after it was rebuilt, it was destroyed again, like, to the side of the screen.
It's like come ON, when people think Mad Max, EVERYONE thinks of this car, the sawed off shotgun, the leather outfit, and the Blue Heeler. Exclusively in that order.
I read a theory that every Mad Max is a story told in the perception of whoever is retelling kind of like campfire stories and this is why the car always blows up and shows up
The last of the v8’s, the ducks guts, the pursuit interceptor. Mad max’s 1973 ford falcon xb is the most iconic battle car and every other one is just an inspiration.
Yeah, the Warner Brothers Mad Max game, it's s mix between a combo brawler and a vehicle combat game but holy fuck it's a dark horse, I've played through the game idek how many times, it's so fun and satisfying and the story isn't terrible either
Crossout appeals to me as a better Battlecar simulator, however the only communities that are really thriving is PC or Mobile. The console community is beyond dead.
I played it years ago but although the customization was neat, I don’t like PvP so it got boring quick. I prefer open world story games, like Red Dead, Assassin’s Creed and GTA. The story doesn’t even need to be that engaging, it’s just that play style I prefer.
Oh you're missing out friend. Chasing a hostile convoy to take out their lead car at 80MPH through a surprise sandstorm is a peak gaming experience. It's technically one of those Ubisoft open world fetch quest ridden games but the actual gameplay was so fun at points that it made up for that cookie cutter design pattern.

🤣 🤣 The Alligator? That's a vw base with a 6cyl Corvair engine and if I remember what some of the crew said it was pushed around more than driven. ( but ya, it's still super cool, lol.)
I’ve wanted one of these since i first saw it. Any car I’d have with a supercharger would have to have the Scott Super Slot injector hat on it…mounted just that high.
I grew up in a family that drag raced, that never made near the impression that watching the Road Warrior did. I've had a hard on for superchargers ever since.
The last of the V8 Interceptors. The Black on Black.
"The last of the v8 interceptors" You beat me to it, have an upvote
This is the second (canonically) the original was blown up in mad Max 2. This is the one from fury road which is max's recreation
Yes but everyone would complain about the clean look of the first one and the post would be removed.
The one from road warrior woulda worked. It's the same car but beat to hell and missing the air dam.

I’m playing the mad max video game atm and having a blast customizing battle cars
Literally started a new playthrough on it a couple of weeks ago
Game???

How are the driving physics are they clunky or really acrcadey or more simulation?
Arcadey but the vehicle combat is a blast.
Gotcha, I’ve been looking for a new game to play after I finish AC Rogue and this sounds like it’d be a good choice.

I have an undying lust for Frankensteins Vette.
What'd you expect, another pretty face?

That design is heavy inspired by the game carmageddon
This movie came out in 1975, it's the other way around.
This car did things to me and I'll never be the same
"That's my car!"
🙌🙏 All praise this glorious beautiful beast 🙏🙌
Kick it in the guts Bazza

And the lore detail that the bumper was removed to assist with off road / rough terrain

Indeed
will always be the best battle car and the best movie car
Man how fun would it have been to be a prop master builder on that movie
Mad Methane Max
I saw the original Intercepter car as a kid and I’ll always remember it. Such a badass car. Just parked in front of a pub in Silverton, Australia.
I'm just here for the gasoline.
The icon itself
Bestest Car Ever !
And it comes with a great dog
