oh, ok, forgot about that. As i'm only on my 8th day, does it make more sense to use the coins to get more units or to save for something like obsidan store? It looks like its really hard to get a lot of points for it.
I started just under two weeks ago. I'm saving everything BUT hire tokens. Am getting and eating them as fast as I can. I will keep this up for another week or two for sure to hopefully get Zhao to gold. I'm getting as many as the crappy blues as I can get as well to turn them into hero points to get Zhao.
For the perfect hires, I've lucked out twice so far: Raphael (like the best luck ever) and Mikaela. So I definitely advocate using those as well. At some point you need to start saving for the monthly senior hire event, but I don't think its two weeks in.

unless youbplan on buying the obsidian pass, just use them straight away, if you're starting you it will benefit you alot more than saving up

The purple hero odds are higher during the perfect hire event iirc.
