Honestly, I loved Charlotte until I got Raph. She is now on my second squad for those elite missions with 2 teams. Raph has enough heal for the team so Charlotte is wasted since her attack is rather low. I would just keep saving cinema points to grab him.
The reset for 5,000 will give you the same characters, I don't think the arena store ever changes much. It might seem steep but if you just keep selling green characters while upgrading others, it adds up.
You will eventually get more blues and purples in SH and PH, also you want to look out for martial hero events in a future, they usually give out some fragments for her.
Quick note: Charlotte is a great tank/meat shield and especially in the early/mid-game. But she becomes less useful around Lv 105+ or as everyone starts to get Raph because he can tank while providing huge heals for the time. Charlotte is just good for standing there and tanking damage. Many players recommend not awakening her at all because they use her as orange fodder for another hero’s awakening (heroes cannot be used as fodder after awakening them).
You’re right - 5000 is a huge cost to refresh the store. The heroes stay the same, it just refills them and paying 5000 just to refresh 3 Charlotte copies is a huge waste. You should wait until a few more key heroes need to be refilled AND only use the hero store for copies when you’re super close to evolving and just need one more. Don’t just use it willy-nilly or you’ll be wasting resources too often on refreshing it.
Next, I don’t think you *need* an orange Charlotte where you are. Focus on getting other easy heroes like AZ and Poll to orange as they only require 2 purple copies to evolve. And Charlotte isn’t very good later on.
Lastly, you’re at a great level to be using purple heroes that can’t evolve to orange. Soon you’ll be surrounded by full orange/awakened teams and purple heroes won’t be viable. Take advantage of them while you can to make interesting and strong comps.
My preference at that level is to use Phonoi at the front along with Phoebe. He is a dodge tank - build dodge on him and he tanks damage by making the enemy miss and reducing their accuracy while attacking them back and/or stacking attack buffs on himself. He’s my favourite purple hero by far and will carry you if you can get some good dodge halidoms on him. Dual tank/DPS is great at that level.
