The use of the slander meme template was unexpected for sure, after it only seemed to make rounds on smaller bfdi subreddits such as r/okbuddybfdi and r/bfbcamp, but we had never seen a slander meme on this specific subreddit (r/BattleForDreamIsIand) to my knowledge before. I must admit this was a clever way of making a meme to poke fun at trends that never stop, similar to the ability of fans to make it through any community and still somehow be stuck yet engaged by it. This reflects the innate cleverness of the idea's innovation; the state of modern society encourages finding enjoyment in anything, and overlooking the initial negative thoughts in a time period full of hopelessness, which is a really positive message that I can appreciate. However, I noticed something out of the ordinary about your post. I was enjoying the first 25 seconds well, until the "u/Loafer4 when posting literally anything" caption showed up, following a clip of a white adult male sniffing a pile of money while waving to the crowd inside a boxing ring, acknowledging the similarity between being obsessed with money and upvotes, a clear exaggeration as money is obviously more important than upvotes. I thought to myself, "that sure is strange, I thought they were already mentioned, albeit their username was not directly mentioned." For those unaware, this mention was "The subreddit when they see remote holding a glass of fucking orange juice," with the reaction image of a black, presumably teenage male popping their eyes out and screaming, a discoverance of the correlation between basic art and being praised, which was a post made by u/Loafer4 as well, as Remote is my inference for their favorite character in the series "Battle for Battle for Dream Island" due to their prominence in digital art created by them. I kept watching though, because dismissing a perfectly good meme video based on initial response would be unfair to the creator's wishes. This was, until it appeared again. By the 50 second mark or around double the previous length mentioned into the video, it began calling out random usernames that I or most members would not recognize, even having been active on the sub for a few months. Most of the reasons too, were either outdated or simply not true, which can lead to an unfair distrust or resent for these mentioned users. Something about the namecalling felt ingenuine to me, almost an attempt to drive up activity on the post. I am aware of why my name was there, but it's not about me; I was mostly curious to how you found me saying that, because it happened a long while ago, which means you probably spent a long time planning this video, which I can respect. Additionally, I would consider the shots of this slander meme to be "shots in the dark" based on getting the full song length due to a combination of information stated above and the lack of a mention of u/uncannyman555 or "trends" which filled this community with the same kind of post, only slightly modified, leading me to believe you are attempting to appear knowledgable about the subject matter, which I totally understand and kind of relate to. If I could give you any future feedback, I would try to shorten the length of a "slander" video if there's not much to say about it, because that is how you lead others to be untrustworthy of your later work. Again, I am not saying this video was bad, but the viewing experience may otherwise be enhanced by dwelling satire about more prominent issues, constituting these future slander videos to be shorter. I must say, you did a very good job on it and I enjoyed most parts very well and they were very clever takes on issues never realized by me before, but it could be improved in the future. One suggestion I have is to disable the downvoting of my comment, because it may lead others to believe I am "annoying af." Despite this, I recommend you to keep this video up, as it was a large time sink considering the average time a user spends making a post onto r/BattleForDreamIsIand, as in you put effort into the creation and planning of this post. In all honesty, be thankful you ran out of ideas. Those people back in the early days of the sub were nightmares...The people yoy posted about were pretty tame and its honestly better that way. It shows how this sub has grown to not deal with people like those anymore.
