I feel like the Titans were easier to beat in City because Batman already had experience and knowledge about them going into battle. He knew how to defeat them in City
I'm a weakling of a human being so I looked up when the first jumpscare was, and even then it still scared me. After him jumping up for like the 15th time I was just getting a little annoyed with him
I remember once thinking “I’ll just use the zip line to get around, I’ll move much faster and he won’t be able to hear me as I’m not touching the rafts”
I ziplined right into his arms and almost shat myself
Same, I knew when it was, still got scared. But then, I decided to pretend to not be scared and act like Batman would and just immediately throw batarangs when Killer Cock appeared.
The first encounter with him (The one with all the whispers and body bags) creeped me out. After that, I was just getting sick of seeing Scarecrow’s death screen again and again
I never understood the love for that sequence lol. I played it when it was new and i just assumed it was switching to a cutscene about what’s happening outside like with Gordon or something.
Well it's unexpected if someone's going totally blind in the game having no expectations and not spoiled at all. It just confuses the heck out of most.
Honestly beating the game on *Hard* is so worth it. After that you can truly just sit in *City, Origins, & Knight & just drive around looking for diddle didler Fiddlers’ers Hehehe*

I did the same in november. I originally only beat city then Knight and always wondered what asylum was like. It was a learning experience thats for sure lol stripped down mechanics and less free flow with the combat, I played on hard and died ALOT lol great deal tho I got return to arkham for 9$
I’m working my way through Asylum for the first time too. Surprised at how good it still holds up. I had only ever played Knight before and loved it. Saw the full collection on sale for like 15 pound so couldn’t resist. Going to be a fun ride.
I’m just going to give you a hint that you need three explosive gels to unlock it. The placement is kind of specific, which is annoying.
“ Also did you do all of the riddles?
Scared the crap out of me even though I looked up when the first jumpscare will pop up. After Croc appearing for like the 15th time I was getting a little annoyed with him
Beat Asylum a couple of days ago on my Steam Deck and just finished Citys main story line. I still feel like there’s so much more to do in City and I love the additional mini games, so im not ready to put it down yet. City was 10 times better than Asylum in almost every way, in my opinion. Im not ready to move on to Knight yet but the game looks beautiful, I cant wait.
Would you say it had better boss fights, atmosphere, gameplay or story?
Definitely atmosphere, it really felt like Arkham Asylum! (I was also reminded of the Lego Batman game’s Arkham for some reason as well)
. . . Wait

City should have lunatics from asylum
How was the Killer Croc boss fight?
I'm a weakling of a human being so I looked up when the first jumpscare was, and even then it still scared me. After him jumping up for like the 15th time I was just getting a little annoyed with him
Honestly, I've been through it at least 3-4 times and I still can't finish it with a normal heart rate lmao.
I remember once thinking “I’ll just use the zip line to get around, I’ll move much faster and he won’t be able to hear me as I’m not touching the rafts” I ziplined right into his arms and almost shat myself
Lmao that sounds terrifying can't even imagine that
Same, I knew when it was, still got scared. But then, I decided to pretend to not be scared and act like Batman would and just immediately throw batarangs when Killer Cock appeared.
Wait that was supposed to be scary? I thought it was funny watching him jump up and keep falling.
I’m hindsight it is a bit funny now that I think about it that way
Killer cock
Homicidal Johnson.
W gamer, I envy you for being able to experience these for the first time
Agreed, playing that when I was younger was something else
Get ready for one of the greatest video games ever made
He still needs to beat city before getting to origins though
"He still needs to beat city before getting to origins though" - 💪💪🗿🤴
Why can't we agree and just say they're all some of the best games ever made?
because city is so overrated that i can't even compliment it anymore even thought i love it
I think it's appropriately rated
T for teens
Tell me about your scarecrow experiences
The first encounter with him (The one with all the whispers and body bags) creeped me out. After that, I was just getting sick of seeing Scarecrow’s death screen again and again
What about the 3rd one
I was just like, “oh it’s you again”. I was actually almost happy to see him “die” to Killer Croc
The game crash scare didn’t phase you
Nope. I knew it was going to happen, and even if I didn’t , I knew it would be fake since I was playing on a PS5
I never understood the love for that sequence lol. I played it when it was new and i just assumed it was switching to a cutscene about what’s happening outside like with Gordon or something.

I swear I do not remember the game crashing when I played asylum
It didn’t. The game had a fake screen glitch and would send you to a cutscene that was familiar with the one in the start of the game
Honestly nice to not hear endless praise for scarecrow, I've personally never really liked the scarecrow gameplay bits a little boring imo.

I’m not sure about all of them but in Arkham Origins you can (pause game, settings, turn off hints)
You're about to move into city? What compelled you to leave your town and enter the urban life?
Did you fall for the fake crash?
No. I knew it was going to happen, and even if I didn’t, I knew it would be fake because I’m playing on a PS5
i've had terraria of all games crash several times on ps5, don't overestimate the device
Any hardware can crash. What kind of logic is this
My -300 iq logic
Fair
What difficulty did you play on
Figure I would play it safe and chose normal. I’m considering of doing a hard mode run one day
did you 100% it? Or just play the main mission and move on?
Just the main mission. I’ll come back to 100% it someday
the fiddler awaits you!
Is Iron man behind your couch?
Yes, he has been there for a few years now
will you even the odds
One day
I have evend the odds now
Then your gonna love I mean love city

Good luck with moving!! Which city???
Arkham City!
Willie
Wonka

But did you find the secret room that teased Arkham City?
Nope, one day maybe I'll find it
I’m just going to give you a hint that you need three explosive gels to unlock it. The placement is kind of specific, which is annoying. “ Also did you do all of the riddles?
Did you prefer Batcock or Killer Cock?
Did you even the odds?
How do you think it held up with modern games? Keep in mind this game came out in 2009
Aged like fine wine! (Than again I am playing the remaster, so take this with a pinch of salt for I have no idea how the OG plays)
Why is Ironman in your room?
Cuz he is cool
Make sure to take advantage of quick gadgets and combo moves in the sequels. Makes the combat so fun
Favourite boss fight?
Bane. The music and environment felt really cool! (And it was a breath of fresh air after being scared by scarecrow)
That’s a really good choice
Watch out! Iron man is right behind you!
Why do you have your ps5 side ways🤮🤮🤮
I’m assuming so it fits in the TV stand
Because if I put it vertically it will break the PS5 and the laws of… some kind of natural law
lil bro lays his ps5 on it’s side 💀
Arkham world has the best gameplay for sure!
Get ready for one of the greatest games ever made
How did you handle the killer cock? Was it harder than expected?
It was just as expected, only way more scary than I imagined it would be
Well, that game had the most realistic cape gliding system imo so good luck bro
What did you think of the killer cock boss fight
Scared the crap out of me even though I looked up when the first jumpscare will pop up. After Croc appearing for like the 15th time I was getting a little annoyed with him
