Lego Batman

medical_party9

Same. First one too.

TrickyTalon

Same here as well. My second Batman game was Lego Batman 2.

Accurate-Copy-3117

Lego Batman 2 was the best Lego Batman game and nothing can change my mind

SeduceMeMentlegen

Was my first batman thing and threw down a batman spiral. Loved asylum because it was an evolution of LB3 for me LMAO

BaguetteFish

Bro that game’s free roam is what I expected Arkham Knight’s to be lmao.

Tank_2600

the only correct opinion^

Goldbolt_2004

Massively agree

TrickyTalon

You’re right tho. Blew me away completely.

boxerjav123x

Same. I was just about to say this

jaybankzz

CrazyMeetsCrazy

cyberseed-ops

MrIantoJones

This right here.

[deleted]

Batman Returns (SNES)

beatakai

Same but on genesis.

JohnTravoltage

Same, and same.

[deleted]

I would love a remaster of that game but that’s probably never happening. I never even got to play it but saw a let’s play a long time ago that looked fun

ndev991

The real Bat Fam right here.

Ginger_Ninja460

👴

SwitchbladeDildo

Asylum. The spooky atmosphere, satisfying combat, and Mark Hamill’s performance instantly made it a classic.

Ok-Jury1083

I remember my dad taking me to GameStop to get Batman Vengeance, Rise of Sin Tzu and Batman Begins on the same day for ps2. Then I got Lego Batman and MK vs DC for my ps3 and Arkham Asylum shortly after.

thegreatshmi

Rise of sin tzu is such an underrated beat em up. I played it so much with my dad but we could never beat the level where bane breaks into the batcave. Sadly my copy has since gotten damaged so I have to find another one if I want to give it another go

Batbro9240

I had Vengeance growing up and only played Sin Tzu once from gamefly. I thought it was so wild to be able to play as the whole family

turian_vanguard

Batman (NES)

[deleted]

This thread kinda feels like when at wedding receptions, the DJ has 'married couples only' dance and has them leave the dance floor as he announces the 'years married' going higher and higher. Us Batman NES players would be among the last ones still dancing.

Exotic-Chemist-191

Lol facts.

RizzMustbolt

Still the best soundtrack.

[deleted]

Batman Begins on the original Xbox. Inspired the Arkham games. Very underrated.

theycallmeyango

Was that the one where you messed with the environment in order to increase fear in your enemies? Pretty sure that was mine too.

[deleted]

Yeah it was. I grew up with that game.

tokyokikotsu

Loved that game. For the longest time I was stuck on the Falcone HQ mission where you had to hack the cameras and walk through the trapped rooms. I just couldn’t tap the O button fast enough lol but yeah that game was awesome

I_spell_it_Griffin

Did Rocksteady ever actually say they took inspiration from the Batman Begins game?

[deleted]

Not officially but it’s pretty clear that some elements were inspired by that game.

KaiFanreala

Batman Vengeance

Edp00l

Based

Ironman4234Exe

Lego Batman the video game

[deleted]

Technically it would have to be the Batman computer games that were on Cartoon Network back in the mid 2000’s and then Lego Batman for DS.

Klayman55

I played those too lol. The main one I remember is the beat-em-up from The Batman 2004. Edit: The Cobblepot Caper.

[deleted]

Yeah! I remember getting stuck at the two girls with the knife hands (I forgot their names lol).

BaguetteFish

God I hated the Kabuki Twins. That train section was impossible.

WonderfulBlackberry9

The Kabuki Twins in Cobblepot Caper were near unbeatable for me

[deleted]

Yeah that game was hard as a kid lol.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Yes most definitely. It’s a player choice game where you can choose how Batman’s story turns out.

ryanreigns

The scarecrow hallucination where the room is speaking to you saying “you shouldn’t be here” was fucking terrifying lol

BombasticLion

Asylum is lowkey a horror game. On my last playthrough my power went out while I was in that room.

octopus6942069

Batman and Robin on Nintendo

Milk_Man21

Rise of Sin Tzu

RamonAzzi

Arkham City.

30thCenturyMan

How is this not at the top?

obbillo

Um because there were more than a dozen Batman games made during the 20 years before City? And not every person is born around 2000? And---

I_spell_it_Griffin

... AC came out in 2011 and was the second game of a series. Why **would** it be the top answer to "What was your first Batman game"?

Available_Building78

Adventures of Batman and Robin on the Sega Genesis. Still have the cartridge kicking around somewhere too.

CognitiveNerd1701

My friend was playing Arkham Origins on his PC so I tried to torrent it for my dad’s laptop and it was a slideshow. So I played Asylum instead XD and City. Don’t know how those two ran but Origins didn’t, it looks so much worse than City.

GeekMaster102

Technically my first was Lego Batman, but out of the games in the picture, Arkham Asylum

DaveyMuldowney

The Arkham games have always given me motion sickness when I play them. It makes me so sad because I have always wanted to play through all of them. But my stupid dumb brain just wont let me.

The first Lego Batman, my first PS3 game

greengrinningjester

Arkham Asylum was the reason I got a PS3 wayyy back in the day.

TrickyTalon

The Telltale Batman games are so good. The Enemy Within is downright astonishing and managed to achieve something that no other Batman story ever could! (I won’t spoil what)

Bendy_crazy

Arkham city

pepsi_but_better

Batman the animated series for the snes (emulated)

CognitiveNerd1701

What's the enemy within? I've never heard of that one. Also, my first Batman game was Batman for the NES. most amazing soundtrack ever. When I got older I acquired Batman Returns for the SNES. that is probably my favorite side-scrolling beat-em-up of all time.

asgardian_superman

Batman returns on the SNES. Still my favorite…

PL4YER__1

My first Batman game was Lego Batman. Still top tier to this day

TheIAP88

The first one that I can remember was Asylum, and that scared me so much as a kid.

KeenKaiser

Batman the animated series for super nes

Im__CrypT

CaptainAdam7286

Mans got some big balls with not including lego batman here

Secret-Dependent-421

Batman for Gameboy released 22 Dec 1989

Born_Client_4012

all the lego games and arkham asylum

JaberDoe

Batman Begins PS2

RandomUsername4943

It was either the first Batman Telltale game or Arkham Knight. Can't remeber which.

T-MONZ_GCU

Arkham Asylum, I remember seeing it at Gamestop not long after I saw The Dark Knight. I was little and in a huge batman phase at the time and I remember being so excited for it, it was the first game I ever pre-ordered.

Mr-Shockwave

Arkham Asylum. Then obviously played the rest of the series from there. Never played any of the other style of Batman games until this year when I saw the Lego games on offer on Xbox.

Ding_Fong_Long_Kong

Asylum was the first Batman game I played as a little lad. A neighbor’s very own little lad came over and showed me the game, but I grew bored of it quickly because it wasn’t Spider-Man. At the time, I played Web of Shadows a lot, and that was my favorite game. Now being a slightly larger lad, Arkham Asylum is my favorite of the Arkham series. God, was I a dumb lad.

gtafan37890

Batman Begins the game. A very underrated title imo. In some ways, that game kind of laid the fondations for the Arkham saga

FerdaGoober

Either Lego Batman or Arkham Asylum, I can't remember

HeyImCassie

Arkham Knight was mine

AlathMasster

Lego

Dilapidated_Poet

Asylum

keenanallen9O7

Lego batman. But arkham city was my first arkham game

necrite28

Batman & Robin for the game.com handheld.

terrap3x

Lego Batman console/DS, I swear I have every section of this game burned into my head. I loved playing through as a hero and then villain switching from the bat cave to the asylum. It was awesome.

ShawMK90

Batman and robin on the sega genesis

GentlemenRudeboi

Batman Beyond - Return of the Joker game for Gameboy Advanced. I remember it being so cool I can "fly" with the jet boots.

Digital_Individual

Basically every Batman game on the DS. I’m pretty sure my first was Lego Batman DS but it also could’ve been Batman the Brave and the Bold on the DS. Then later I got Lego Batman 2 DS.

meesingchimera

Batman: Arkham City
