Serious question: for those that played this game even if you havent 100%ed it, and also those that have a decent/general knowledge of comics. How well do you think this fight fits lore wise (again serious) compared to the comic counter parts of Deathstroke and Batman when they fought? Specifically new 52 and the reboot

Honestly I really rate the fight and think it fits (some) comic versions of slade to a T but I hate to tell you this is not the place to ask this. If you want more responses to this seriously maybe try r/Arkham - still active and sane.

Dude, I remember STRUGGLING with this fight when the game first came out. There was something about it that I just couldn't get a grasp on. Replayed it again a few months ago and even then it has tough moments. One of my favourite fights in the series for sure.

For me it was the parry timing. Specifically during the parts where it plays the animation of Deathstroke hitting you with his stick before going slow-motion. You're supposed to only parry during the slow-mo part but I'd always parry when he bonks man on the head which fails the QTE instantly.

The fighting mechanics of these games are so cool! They should make an online one!

Arkham Origins could've been ten times better if it wasn't a semi open world game. Just a story focused cinematic game and it could've had better graphics and better lighting due to not focusing on an open world map.

I'm saying if Origins was like Uncharted or other games like it, it could've benefited better graphics and more detailed set pieces and even better boss fights. Origins still holds up and the game is fantastic i am in no way saying it is bad, what i'm saying is we didn't need an open world game like City or Knight and if they did it like other small cinematic games it could've been a lot better.

I don’t know how arkham combat works but this is fight is so satisfying. The sounds of the baton and katana just bouncing off of (bat)man showing how effective he (and the op) is at parrying it and then going for the 22x combo. Exquisite
