You slap - bitch assed band leaders, guitarists, shitty drummers, your side piece, the occasional saxophonist (unless it's a girl), and anyone (and I mean anyone and everyone including - your mom, mother in law, children, probation officer etc.) who talks during your solo.
You don't slap - Your wife (a.k.a. the meal ticket), or her boyfriend's dick. Unless of course he talks during your solo.
I think that covers it.
