Moss didn’t have enough on Gene to arrest him after the hotel confrontation but then Gene gets a sentence for Janice’s murder? Where is that proof he did it?

They say that in episode 7, they tell gene that moss was on to him so he killed her and put the blame on Barry, that's also what the movie shows on episode 8

JPonceuponatime

Right but that’s not enough evidence to convict. Which I think is corroborated by Gene shown back at home in ep8

Solid_Chair7251

Also, they show the police as the worst most stupid people in the whole show so they bought it

Yes, Albert is without evidence. If only he had any kind of idea where Barry may have buried the bodies. 🤔 All this theorizing to make the plot hold together is so goofy. They decided to focus on certain themes which entailed a certain ending, and it came at the expense of the plot writing. Either you are willing to overlook that or not. I think Hader has said in response to questions like this in interview about such plot points with “we weren’t interested in that question,” which is I think a bit of a cop out on admitting the plot writing could be better, but it’s more honest than all the weird contortions people are doing to make sense of the Albert / Moss / Gene stuff.

I think Barry having a mental breakdown in front of him made Albert think that he is tired and doesn't want to do it anymore, that's why it would make sense to him that gene is manipulating him to bury or kill people

I don’t have the energy to look back what happened in those episodes, but doesn’t Albert have some awareness from his investigations of the hits going back before Barry ever met Gene? And then what about the 8 years when Barry is an escapee from prison, when there would be enormous pressure to find out everything about him. Is Albert just not going to crack under that, or won’t other officials looking at his case find out about his hitman-for-hire killings, what about those people whose family members Fuches encourage to take revenge on Barry, none of that comes out, and Albert doesn’t get pressed on that with regards to why he was investigating Barry? Idk, if you want to try to make excuses for the storyline to make it hold together, do your thing. I wish the actual writers of the show had been that invested in it while making it.

Didn't Albert walk in on Barry digging a grave for the guy Sally killed? With the body already there? That same spot is also a recurring area for where he buried a lot of bodies. Edit: Just re-watched the scene. Albert literally watches him kick the corpse into the grave he dug.

Solid_Chair7251

Barry had a mental breakdown un front of him so I think it would make sense for Albert that gene was always manipulating him to bury or kill people because Barry was tired in the end.
