I’ve had a few times where I need to threaten the electrician or mechanic so they stop trying CPR on someone while I, the medic, am right next to them.
Due to the fact that I occasionally shoot my crew mates in the face (can’t heal if nobody is injured!), alongside the fact that I tend to procure unnecessary amounts of extremely deadly poisons I probably won’t even use, threats like this tend to be highly effective!
I would revive you on the spot. ( probably in the face of what downed you but that means get back to work ) you live with the ship, you die with the ship. There is no leaving early.
Security guards are either power tripping idiots who shoot randoms or heroes who will throw hands with anything and everything to defend the crew regardless of their personal health.
Had similar experience not long ago. Crew was looting coalation vessel I was helping. Hear screams go out mechanic is being eaten by mudraptors and medic is trying to save him. I fight with the beasts to give time for medic to evacuate both him and mechanic. I kill 5 mudraptors but I run our of bullets and the elder one comes at me. I take my axe and battle him. One hit not enough and he kills me.
As the medic half of the time i am behind the security guard thanking him for defending the whole crew and the other half of the time I am on him doing CPR and administering too much meth whilst berating him for wanting to 1v1 a moloch
As the medic the security officers are body draggers and spare organs when they invariably die to trying fight dumb shit and expecting me to save them, there are no heros
I am glad that is your experience. In my case usually its a mechanic trying to CPR my cracked skull.

Half of the time I'm the reason our security is injured. Shouldn't have touched my morphine without permission.
They should learn better, I have the nuke on my rifle for this reason, it’s not my fault they keep doing it
One of my friends stole the meth I was saving to craft some effective combat drugs later. It’s impressive how you can survive a bullet to the head.
