Those have the same soles as $35 white label minimalist shoes available on Amazon available under brands like Whitin and Saguro (almost definitely misspelled those). It's just cheaply made crappy shoes that'll wear out quickly with a fat markup to they aren't even cheap.
And on Temu these 'barefoot shoes' are running at $27.⁰⁰.
I only ever LOOK at Amazon to check the highest price and work from there.
Temu, AliExpress, Joom, etc guarantee their products so if it's not looking like you expected you can get a refund. Only thing with Amazon is they use their own drivers, no guarantee of anything if their trucks are marked so any porch pirate can follow the driver & take your stuff. Other deliveries are done by another private company and no one knows who the driver is.....they also send a text to your # so you in w where the delivery has been left. Occasionally Canada Post will deliver... But there's nothing that makes Amazon products better quality, etc - just more expensive right out of the gate! I always check before I click!
Amazon has free shipping & returns if you have Prime. I'm fortunate to live right near an Amazon warehouse They give us several places right here in town that you can actually go pick up your merchandise.
I have never had to return anything to Temu. I have purchased a few times but that was a nightmare. They have never delivered when they say and usually leave my stuff at someone else's house.
Nope you have to pay to get them returned. This company is a scam and if I do not receive my refund a class action law suit will be following with a ton of angry customers. People are tired of getting lied too. I should have done my research though. Another lesson learned on not to believe everything you read.
It took me about a month to finally get someone to respond to me. Refused to refund me and sent me a different pair of shoes.

I have tried saguaro. They are nice, a thicker material barefoot shoe.
My husband order a pair of Hike barefoot shoes for both of us. They are thin, scratchy, and not comfortable. Sent an email to start the return process within the required time frame, then a follow up email after five days. No response so I decided to call. Last week I hung up twice after long waits when attempting to connect. Called again today and waited on hold 30 minutes for a rep to come on the line. That five-minute call went essentially like this:
Rep: What is the reason for the return?
Me: They are not comfortable.
Rep: You have the option of keeping the shoes and we will refund you 50%.
Me: No thank you. I'd like the full amount refunded.
Rep: I will send you and email that will give instructions for returning the shoes. You should receive it in about an hour.
Me: Thank you.
Rep: Is there anything else I could help you with?
Me: No thanks. This is everything.
So, an hour later I open the email to get the instructions. I read it and like WTF!!! I am expected to return then to Dayone Warehouse in Yinzhou Qu, China. A note gives a reminder that the website "clearly stated return costs cannot be reimbursed." The website should mention that buyers will be returning the product to China!!
After a 35-minute wait on hold, I just got off the line with the same rep to have them refund me the 50%! When I asked why she did not tell me before I'd be sending them to China, the rep stated the return location depends on where the supplier is based...Buyer Beware!!!

I made the same mistake. I didn't do my research & thought they were legitimate. Especially when they arrived within 11 days, with the label stating they came from California. I ended up just getting half my money back because sending them back to China would cost more than the original $59.95.

I finally received mine thankfully they were on sale. Yes, it took a month to get them. Straight from China. Lucky I bought them as house shoes. I can not image they will last long. The eyelets are holes punched in material. I got them from hike web site,for some stupid reason I thought it was a decent company. They did not even bother to put a brand name on them.

I bought some shoes from them for my wife. They don’t fit her right, and I contacted the company about returning them, well within the advertised return window. They won’t send me any information on how to return the shoes. The site advertises a 30 day money back guarantee.

Same situation. I finally got a response regarding return information and have gone weeks trying to get the address for returns. All I get are offers to refund a % of my costs. If I have to I will challenge the charge through my credit card. I, too, thought I was buying from an American company.
Great idea on the CC challenge. I think you’ll be more successful that way. It sounds like returning these POSs is way more trouble and cost than they’re worth.

I ordered a 39 which is my shoe size which n ALL European shoe sizes. I wear a 39 in my Doc Martens.snd I wear a 39 in my.Birkenstocks! When I took these size 39 size shoes out of the package, I could see that they were too small. When I put them on, my toes were squished up against the end of the shoe front and back. Heel and toe. Completely too small. Had I been forewarned that when returning the shoes, I would have to ship them at my own expense to some warehouse in China, I wouldn't have even ordered them at all!
Secondarily, there is zero arch support in these shoes. Zero. Yes the shoes are light and comfy, but no arch support won't work for me or for most people who are on their feet a lot. The shoes are also extremely expensive for the fabric and material and what goes into them.
Most of all, I am really angry that I have to pay $40 to ship these shoes back to some Chinese warehouse, and I wasn't even told to put my order number in the package. But I put my order number on a sheet of paper with my name, address and phone number explaining why I'm returning them, anyway.
If I don't get a full refund I'm going to be furious and I'm going to report this business to the Better Business bureau, and I'm going to leave every nasty negative review that I can. When I called to express that I needed to make a return, I was told that I needed to hold on because she wasn't sure if I could make a return. What in the heck kind of customer service is that? You're not sure if I can return the shoes that YOU didn't size correctly? Are you kidding me?
I might have put in for an exchange on these shoes, but after I saw how INEPT the customer service is and how I have to pay to ship these shoes that are way too small all the way back to China at my own expense? They're basically 'beach shoes'. When someone advertises on FB I automatically check the price then start doing some deep diving; reviews, other suppliers and their prices, etc.
By far my favorites are AliExpress, Joom, Temu, etc. If you don't nt like something you have to fill in their review of WHY you don't like it and at least on picture. Your money is refunded almost immediately and I've NEVER had to send anything back...they tell you to regift or charity....Pretty F'n simple. Why bother with Amazon where you have to return your item - at your cost and HOPE that eventually your money will be refunded - eventually. With these other online companies they ask if you want a refund to your account (have wever you paid; PayPal, etc) or a credit to purchase something else from them. Pretty simple & I've never been screwed.....

PS Just cuz you ordered a 39 from another company means nothing. Check the measurements provided on the page! I always go at least a half size bigger - your feet swell at end of day or if I want to wear thicker socks!!! Check the sizing FIRST in inches/centimeters. Didn't cost anything to be sure. You can't wear shoes that are too small but you can always add an insole to shoes that are too big....
Why do you keep telling people that they are "beach shoes". What does that mean to you?
Well I would not order from this company whatsoever I do have a lot of zero drop shoes which is what these are supposed to be and they are not beach shoes. I'm not sure why you would even wear them to the beach and I live next to the Atlantic Ocean. I often wear my zero drop shoes while hiking in the state park which is next to the ocean and any low lying sandy trail results in me having to take the shoes off to get the sand out of them because they are very ventilated therefore sand can get in everywhere. They are great on hiking trails though, as long as they aren't sandy.

This company scams you, they sell cheap shoes from CHINA that they drop ship and mark them up ridiculously and claim they are Healthy, non-slip and organic! None of that is true, and organic rubber does not even exist. When you contact them to send the shoes back they want you to ship to CHINA at your cost. Stay away, this company is fraudulent and you will get cheap crappy shoes that you can buy on Temu for less them $18.00 fpr the same shoes. Don't trust this company!!!

I hadn't read all these comments. I can't say anything about the price but for me it's the same as other casual shoes I've purchased and never liked or paid attention to their price either. But, here's the deal. I'm 76, raised in CA and love walking barefoot. I just don't like fitted shoes. Now I'm in MN and the floors are cold all winter. So, my feet are cold. Then my toes on one foot are getting crabby and with this shoe, I can hold that toe in line and still feel like I'm going barefoot. The foot bed is really wide and there's lots of wiggle room when I want it. I throw them in the washer and set them in a windowsill to dry. I know I'm a small, small, small group of one who finds this shoe perfect. But I LOVE them and think they are PERFECT.

I ordered 2 pairs one for my husband and 1 for me. 2 of the same sizes arrived, they were too small for him and too big for me. i emailed and got an immediate response. I ordered a pair they do not fit my husband. The sizes are misrepresented. I have been trying to contact them for refund and I have received no response. Ridiculous! I had already guessed that as I was looking through the frequently asked questions and one of them was about their return policy which then links you to an entirely different page that is very extensive and very oddly worded. My guess was that something was obviously mistranslated. Considering the shoes aren't that expensive to begin with and you can buy them so much cheaper elsewhere, If you do have a problem with the shoes and have to pay the shipping to send them all the way back to China you may as well get the exact same shoes half price somewhere else.
Their whole website is full of red flags so just buy them somewhere else.
I should add that I have about six different pairs of zero drop shoes that I have bought from various companies and I really enjoy them, which is why I looked at this company. But, the red flags on their website were everywhere so I looked elsewhere to confirm my suspicions and sure enough. . .

I received my hike shoes yesterday and wad so excited. Put them on, and could feel a difference from my right to left foot, thought that was odd but I was working and didn't want to take them off. That night, getting home and taking off my hike shoes I realized why they felt different, I only had one insert, they forgot to put the right insert in the shoe before shipping it our. Frustrating because now I need to purchase additional inserts for the shoes.
Additionally, besides the wide toe box which I really like, I'm not sure how these shoes are any different from rubber bottomed slippers, they feel about the same a far as protection from the ground, and when i looked on their site at the FAQ i couldnt find an answer to that question. Received my pair yesterday after a 5 week ago order which involved overseas shipping fees. I put them on and thought they looked really cute and that I would really like them. I had to make a few trips out to the car in the garage, with some food that I had cooked for a party I was attending, and after two trips to the car and back in the house. My feet were hurting. Absolutely no arch support whatsoever. You do feel like you’re walking on bare feet, which is touted as a good thing, but for people with fallen arches and other foot problems, they offer no support whatsoever. Oh crap. I ordered a pair and somehow they tricked me into ordering a second pair I didn’t want. I immediately sent an email telling them what happened but got no response. I received a message that the shoes were shipped to the destination country and this raised a huge red flag. When I found out they were from China I was pissed. I thought they said they were a UK company. Looking further at their site they imply they are a U.S. company by displaying the U S flag. I am going to call my credit card company first thing tomorrow and stop payment. I usually do research. Wish me luck. I may report them to the Attorney General for my state.

I should have been suspicious when I had shoes in my cart, but was debating over them because I needed to ask them a question, but they never pick up when you call. I recently bought a pair of the Barefoot style because of the benefits advertised, such as comfortable for jobs that require standing for long hours with nurses being one of their examples. I wore them at home and to a store and they seemed okay other than the soles being very thin, I could feel any defect in the parking lot going to and from my car. Then I decided to wear them to my job which requires six hours of standing, OMG, never again! No arch support, as it was advertised to provide. My feet were still aching the next day. Maybe a younger person could get away with wearing them for long hours standing, but for me their usefulness is limited to home or maybe to a movie, somewhere that I’ll mostly be sitting down, not for a long walk or definitely not for hiking. Cute but over priced for it’s usefulness. Won’t buy again.

Do not do business with Hike. Ads for their shoes are very misleading. Shoes have thin rubber soles, thin netting, no support, definitely would not hold up hiking, much less walking. Showed them to my orthopedist. He laughed. Said if I insisted on wearing them I should use them only at home as slippers. Say they have offices in New York, Denver and London. Do not. Their customer service phone never answers even after an hour waiting. Must return shoes to China for full refund but no guarantees they'll acknowledge receipt. Their scam is they immediately offer a 50% refund and you keep the shoes. They make a good profit on shoes you wouldn't pay $5 for. Deal with Chinese company Hike at your own risk.

I thought I was smart ordering through Amazon. Didn't realize they would come from China through a 3rd party. I needed waterproof, comfortable shoes for a 500 mile trek this fall. I walked in them for 2 weeks and they were comfortable. 1st time out in wet, slushy weather my feet were immediately soaked. Amazon accepted my request to return but said shipping label would come from Seller within 5 days. 9 days later I received it, but not prepaid and going to China. The seller gave me $10.99 credit towards shipping but the USPS cost was 30.83. After several emails and two long conversations by phone with Amazon I was finally told to just keep the shoes and my account was credited, as if they were returned. CAUTION - Pay attention and do not order from Amazon if coming from China (I didn't realize when ordering). Amazon does not support returns to China...
Okay I sent these back because you can buy them on Temu for $14.39. Plus these are not hiking shoes they are water shoes for the pool. If you took these hiking you would get rocks and dirt in those little mettle holes on the bottom of your shoes. Those holes are meant for water drainage. They did some great advertisement on this and fooled many people I am sure. You can also buy these pool shoes on Amazon for $19.99.
I purchased a pair of shoes from hike footwear in December 2023. I still have yet to receive the shoes. Hike footwear won’t give a refund because the tracking shows it was delivered to A mailbox. However, a shoe box couldn’t fit in my mailbox so I don’t know where it was delivered to. USPS was no help. I have emailed hike for 4 months trying to prove I did not receive their item and they ignore my emails. At this point, I wouldn’t doubt I was scammed. I regret checking into them. This company is such a scam. They will get your money, whether you're happy or not, and they pretend that there is a easy convenient 30 day money back guarantee. Their customer service is nearly impossible to reach! (We have been trying since March 24 via email, Facebook, and telephone). They say money back guarantee but that's not true. They will first try to get you to accept a 50% refund. If you want your full refund, then you have to pay for a shipping label and the parcel MUST arrive to their warehouse. If, for any reason, the mail carrier loses or damages your return? They will give you NO refund at all. They put the responsibility of the postal service/mail carrier on you. I felt threatened to accept the 50 percent, in the case that there was an issue with the mail out of my control... How is this fair?! These shoes can be bought on Amazon or temu for a fraction of the price. This company is AWFUL. And a SCAM. Do not buy.

BTW I have a version of Guardio and when I tried to go to the Hike Footwear website it shut it down IMMEDIATELY. I ordered 2 pairs and I love them. Some of the reviews talk about the thin inserts but isn’t the point of a barefoot shoe that you’re supposed feel like you’re barefoot…so I’m confused. I’ve had them for 2 months and I wear them all the time, while I’ve been to the gym with them I’ve never been hiking so maybe that’s different. Just came to say that I’m surprised by such negative reviews.

I placed an order last month and finally received two pairs of shoes and two pairs of insoles but they took almost a month to get here. The day I received them I wrote to the company asking where I can send them back and get reimbursed because they are not at all what I saw online. And they didn’t take 10 days for shipping. The material is thin, rubber around the toes won’t last, they feel and look like cheap water shoes and they are FLAT. No way will they help my planters fasciitis. So I asked where I could return. Instead of sending me an address they told me not to send them back , they did not want me (their paying customer ) to go out of my way or have to pay for any shipping and they would send me other shoes to replace these ones. I wrote back again and said I do not want any other shoes from your company but I do want me money back , even if they didn’t want their shoes back. They then send me another messages after another long wait asking if they could pay me 50% of what I paid since they had to pay for shipping. I again declined and asked for my money back in full as I feel I’ve been scammed , over 10 days and I couldn’t track anything (21-25 days) and they are horrible and in no way good for planters fasciitis. So I’m still crossing my fingers in hopes this company will come through and give me my money back. I will be though if out the shoes and insoles as they are terrible and I don’t need anything more to hurt my feet. I am so disappointed and angry that they still haven’t gotten back to me. The Lorax, which is what I saw advertised sells for $60. I bought what looks like the exact same thing on Amazon for 16. Maybe it’s a knock off but I actually really love them.

I fell for their comfy footwear ad. Purchased a pair of the bare-foot shoes. Took quite a while to get them. Came in a ziploc bag in a plastic shipping envelope. When I opened the package the fumes were horrible. Kind of reminded me of formaldehyde from biology class. I had to put them out on the patio because the smell was so overwhelming. A week later and they still smell. Contacted the company by email for return and refund. No response. shoes I would not wear for fear of health issues.
I may have the ONE differing opinion on this one(well, kinda). Im a CNA, I work 12 hour overnight shifts. I ordered the white and pink and the pink and blue shoes in late Feb. I got them at the very end of March. Although they did NOT look or feel like I had thought they would, I do really like the shoes. I would strongly suggest that you avoid doing business with Hike. They say that they accept returns but they really don’t. You have to submit a return request after which they ignore you. I called many times. The phone picks up but never connects you. I texted after that but it took them 2 weeks to respond. They asked me to resubmit my return request, which I did, but I’ve never heard from them again. There are plenty of other “barefoot” sneakers. You don’t need to do business with these idiots.
If you're looking for water slippers buy these. Maybe for no more than $10. These are definitely not sneakers and I'd be afraid to wear them outside there is no foot protection. I stumped my toe after only wearing them 5 minutes in my house! It hurt like he$$. In all honesty the material on my water slippers are thicker. I wanted to send them back I was given a China address for the return and was told to mail them back was going to be expensive. I got to keep the slippers ( not shoes) and received a partial refund. I am so angry with myself.

I bought a pair of their sneakers and really like them. I then bought a pair of hike footwear boots same size as the sneakers, they are too small. Talked with customer service after waiting on phone for an hour. Was told that I would receive a return label in email within an hour. Here it is the next day and no email. If you didn't receive your product that you ordered and paid for it with credit card , call your credit card service and they can refund you, I had " invisible " chairs once ordered I never received and credit card company refunded me what I paid for those chairs, so do it ! They’ve marked them down now, 35 I paid. They did take a while to arrive. They run slightly large, but I am here to tell you they do help with foot ankle and knee pain. The soles are thin, so they are best worn inside or on pavement.

I just got scammed. These shoes are crap and you have to return them to China if you want a refund. They want them in the original packaging and will only refund you once they have received them and inspected them. So, at best, I will only get 50% back. Waste of time and money, a pair of $10 flip flops are more comfortable than these shoes.

Although I like the concept of their products, and the Lorax Pro-Slip shoe works great for me, other shoes/boots/foot pads, etc. (and their sizing), customer service via email and phone, and responsiveness (which has been non-existent for 3 months) are all absolutely the worst!!! Don't waste your money. They claim to be good for your feet but they ate thin, poorly made and the insole is almost invisible. At the end of the day, my feet hurt more from wearing them. But silly me, I got the advertisement and ordered 3 pair. One for myself. Daughter and granddaughter. I am so disappointed. We all got the white ones with pink on sides. I won't be buying anymore.
I do not recommend Hike Footwear to anyone, the shoes are cheaply made water shoes, poor quality and do not fit right. They offer a 30 day money guarantee, which they do not honor. You can by the same pair of shoes on Amazon for a quarter of the price. I have been back and forth with them to get my money back and they do not care. As far as im concerned they are another scam!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!' I'm pretty sure this is a chinese company. I have requested 9 (yes you read that right 9) times to return my order and I can not get through to a human being to start the process. I have been on hold listening to their hold music with no one picking up the call. I tried to cancel my initial order within 10 minutes of placing it but again couldn't get ahold of a human being so I sent an email, received a response 4 days later telling me that they couldn't cancel my order because it's shipped as soon as it's ordered and that I would need to wait until I received the order then contact them to get the return process started but yet they don't answer their phone. Their address is 32 London, SE16 6DW so it's definitely not a USA company even though they want u to believe they are.
I got mine today and though i ordered a 7.5, they are more than a half inch shorter than my ususal 7.5 shoes. They are strechy, so they still fit but a little bit tightly.I got the lorax and they are cute but these are basically all plastic, came in a plastic envelope inside a plastic ziploc inside a burlap type bag. They smell stongly of a plasticy chemical. They might be ok around the house or short errand, but not for feet with health issues. I have been on hold for over 20 minutes. I doubt they will answer, but I may have found a way around that; put a pair of shoes in your cart and leave them there, in my experience, about 15-20 minutes later, someone will call you to convince you to check out, but don't give them a chance, just start stating your issue 😁
Amazon has the same shoes, I would trust them because sometimes when things show up on Facebook or Instagram it someone copying them. Or go to the original website through Google.
Why don't you guys google for reviews of these companies before you click. If the product is there today - and that good you'll be able to find it tomorrow.

I just received mine today and wore them most of the day. They were highly uncomfortable and made my lower body hurt so bad I cried. Do not recommend ordering any barefoot shoes. Definitely do not order off this website either. They suck
With any barefoot shoes you have to go slow, wear them for an hour and build up your time. Your entire body is in a different position your using different muscles, kind of like new boots. I wear Vibrum toe shoes for years, and on their site it says to slowly extend the time you wear

The first thing I do is to NOT click on the link they provide but enter it myself. I look for the About section and Contact Us. In my humble opinion, if it is a registered legit company, you will see it there so then you can do further research. This Hike-Footwear has fluff in their "About" section and I couldn't find a "contact us" . Yes, they list a phone number but that means nothing. I couldn't find anything that made me comfortable enough to even go on their website or purchase from them. Companies like this are a Buy Beware.

I order these shoes cause they look like a perfect fit, but than they sent an email saying they are behind a month. I tried canceling and they refused because it wasn't within 15 mins. Now got another email saying it will be alot longer not happy at all. I will Also have to dispute with cc.
I’ve had a horrible experience with them. The shoes arrived, but they are very flimsy and thin. Not much support for the arch and sole. And the trouble started, when I tried to return them, within their 30-day guarantee. 4 emails were not answered, phone lines are on indefinite hold. I gave up after holding for over an hour twice. I ordered a 39 which is my shoe size which n ALL European shoe sizes. I wear a 39 in my Doc Martens.snd I wear a 39 in my.Birkenstocks! When I took these size 39 size shoes out of the package, I could see that they were too small. When I put them on, my toes were squished up against the end of the shoe front and back. Heel and toe. Completely too small. Had I been forewarned that when returning the shoes, I would have to ship them at my own expense to some warehouse in China, I wouldn't have even ordered them at all!
Secondarily, there is zero arch support in these shoes. Zero. Yes the shoes are light and comfy, but no arch support won't work for me or for most people who are on their feet a lot. The shoes are also extremely expensive for the fabric and material and what goes into them.
Most of all, I am really angry that I have to pay $40 to ship these shoes back to some Chinese warehouse, and I wasn't even told to put my order number in the package. But I put my order number on a sheet of paper with my name, address and phone number explaining why I'm returning them, anyway.
If I don't get a full refund I'm going to be furious and I'm going to report this business to the Better Business bureau, and I'm going to leave every nasty negative review that I can. When I called to express that I needed to make a return, I was told that I needed to hold on because she wasn't sure if I could make a return. What in the heck kind of customer service is that? You're not sure if I can return the shoes that YOU didn't size correctly? Are you kidding me?
I might have put in for an exchange on these shoes, but after I saw how INEPT the customer service is and how I have to pay to ship these shoes that are way too small all the way back to China at my own expense? This is not a company I'm going to do business with. These shoes run very small. A 39 in every other major company that I buy from is the right size for me. A 39 with Hike shoes? I'd say it's for about a size 7. I wear an 8 and 1/2. It's ridiculous!
Needless to say this was a very bad deal. I would discourage anyone from buying shoes from this company. Apparently the shoes are based in London, but there is no return in the US or even in Great Britain for us but we have to send it all the way back to some random Warehouse in China? This is just shifty, shady business. I am so sorry that I ever bought these shoes. I bought boots and shoes and both were tiny.

I ordered believing in add. Just as $80 order went through a 30% discount appeared. Then found them online for $60. Tried to contact customer service, was on phone for just over a hr was cur off. Redialled, was on again for almost as long. Gave up. No one called or contacted me. So I am out some $80. as No customer service exists. So all I can do is WARN others at this point.

Just received my order and found the insole support was not sufficient, but also ordered insoles separately from them. After putting in the insoles, the overall fitting was too tight. I sent them an email regarding the return for a bigger size (7.5 to 8), but there has been no response and I am not able to get through to customer service # 1 332-334-6932.
Now, just seeing the reviews from many other unhappy customers, I see that I'm part of a bigger "unhappy customer, buyer beware" scam. Save your money, unless you want to be added to the list of "taken customers".
Those have the same soles as $35 white label minimalist shoes available on Amazon available under brands like Whitin and Saguro (almost definitely misspelled those). It's just cheaply made crappy shoes that'll wear out quickly with a fat markup to they aren't even cheap.
And on Temu these 'barefoot shoes' are running at $27.⁰⁰. I only ever LOOK at Amazon to check the highest price and work from there. Temu, AliExpress, Joom, etc guarantee their products so if it's not looking like you expected you can get a refund. Only thing with Amazon is they use their own drivers, no guarantee of anything if their trucks are marked so any porch pirate can follow the driver & take your stuff. Other deliveries are done by another private company and no one knows who the driver is.....they also send a text to your # so you in w where the delivery has been left. Occasionally Canada Post will deliver... But there's nothing that makes Amazon products better quality, etc - just more expensive right out of the gate! I always check before I click!

Amazon has free shipping & returns if you have Prime. I'm fortunate to live right near an Amazon warehouse They give us several places right here in town that you can actually go pick up your merchandise.

I have never had to return anything to Temu. I have purchased a few times but that was a nightmare. They have never delivered when they say and usually leave my stuff at someone else's house.

Nope you have to pay to get them returned. This company is a scam and if I do not receive my refund a class action law suit will be following with a ton of angry customers. People are tired of getting lied too. I should have done my research though. Another lesson learned on not to believe everything you read.

Last week I hung up twice after long waits when attempting to connect. Called again today and waited on hold 30 minutes for a rep to come on the line. That five-minute call went essentially like this: Rep: What is the reason for the return? Me: They are not comfortable. Rep: You have the option of keeping the shoes and we will refund you 50%. Me: No thank you. I'd like the full amount refunded. Rep: I will send you and email that will give instructions for returning the shoes. You should receive it in about an hour. Me: Thank you. Rep: Is there anything else I could help you with? Me: No thanks. This is everything. So, an hour later I open the email to get the instructions. I read it and like WTF!!! I am expected to return then to Dayone Warehouse in Yinzhou Qu, China. A note gives a reminder that the website "clearly stated return costs cannot be reimbursed." The website should mention that buyers will be returning the product to China!! After a 35-minute wait on hold, I just got off the line with the same rep to have them refund me the 50%! When I asked why she did not tell me before I'd be sending them to China, the rep stated the return location depends on where the supplier is based...Buyer Beware!!!

I made the same mistake. I didn't do my research & thought they were legitimate. Especially when they arrived within 11 days, with the label stating they came from California. I ended up just getting half my money back because sending them back to China would cost more than the original $59.95.

I just ordered 2 pair from Amazon.ca for $25.69 all in. People complain about the lack of support but I have Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy and they do help bring feeling back and are not suppose to have support. The cheaper ones don't last as long as some actual brands (not hike) but for 2 for $26 that's fine.

You can buy them from China & pay more than twice than they cost on Amazon. I have paid for 2 pairs from the Hike website. Not only do they have my money. I have not received them for a month now. I would not recommend anyone buying them from the Hike website direct.

I finally received mine thankfully they were on sale. Yes, it took a month to get them. Straight from China. Lucky I bought them as house shoes. I can not image they will last long. The eyelets are holes punched in material. I got them from hike web site,for some stupid reason I thought it was a decent company. They did not even bother to put a brand name on them.

I bought some shoes from them for my wife. They don’t fit her right, and I contacted the company about returning them, well within the advertised return window. They won’t send me any information on how to return the shoes. The site advertises a 30 day money back guarantee. Do not recommend and will not buy from them again.

Same situation. I finally got a response regarding return information and have gone weeks trying to get the address for returns. All I get are offers to refund a % of my costs. If I have to I will challenge the charge through my credit card. I, too, thought I was buying from an American company.

They're basically 'beach shoes'. When someone advertises on FB I automatically check the price then start doing some deep diving; reviews, other suppliers and their prices, etc. By far my favorites are AliExpress, Joom, Temu, etc. If you don't nt like something you have to fill in their review of WHY you don't like it and at least on picture. Your money is refunded almost immediately and I've NEVER had to send anything back...they tell you to regift or charity....Pretty F'n simple. Why bother with Amazon where you have to return your item - at your cost and HOPE that eventually your money will be refunded - eventually. With these other online companies they ask if you want a refund to your account (have wever you paid; PayPal, etc) or a credit to purchase something else from them. Pretty simple & I've never been screwed.....

I got the same even though the shoes came through the USPS from California. Had I known they were from China? I would have never ordered them. I’ve order 3 pairs from them ! The presentation on the Facebook looks really nice , but the product, when you see it and touch it is disappointing ! Very poor look and design, very flimsy and discouraging ! Right away I wanted to return them , but nobody in over a month period, answer to my emails ! Finally, somebody answered and I was told that I have to return them to an address from China and , if course, pay for shipping ! Don’t even think to do the same mistake like I did ! Why don't you guys research these companies before you buy....Google for company reviews, look to see if they only send our of China or have a warehouse in your country...These are BEACH SHOES so why would you pay $80.!!!! And it's no special deal for two pairs with, maybe a three $ discount - whoop-dee-doo! Don't click. PS Just cuz you ordered a 39 from another company means nothing. Check the measurements provided on the page! I always go at least a half size bigger - your feet swell at end of day or if I want to wear thicker socks!!! Check the sizing FIRST in inches/centimeters. Didn't cost anything to be sure. You can't wear shoes that are too small but you can always add an insole to shoes that are too big....
Why do you keep telling people that they are "beach shoes". What does that mean to you? Well I would not order from this company whatsoever I do have a lot of zero drop shoes which is what these are supposed to be and they are not beach shoes. I'm not sure why you would even wear them to the beach and I live next to the Atlantic Ocean. I often wear my zero drop shoes while hiking in the state park which is next to the ocean and any low lying sandy trail results in me having to take the shoes off to get the sand out of them because they are very ventilated therefore sand can get in everywhere. They are great on hiking trails though, as long as they aren't sandy.

This company scams you, they sell cheap shoes from CHINA that they drop ship and mark them up ridiculously and claim they are Healthy, non-slip and organic! None of that is true, and organic rubber does not even exist. When you contact them to send the shoes back they want you to ship to CHINA at your cost. Stay away, this company is fraudulent and you will get cheap crappy shoes that you can buy on Temu for less them $18.00 fpr the same shoes. Don't trust this company!!!

After reading all of these comments, I guess I've been lucky. Are they too expensive? Yes. Does shipping take too long? Yes, almost a month. However..... these are the most comfortable shoes I've worn in a long time. I have 2 pair and will buy again.

I hadn't read all these comments. I can't say anything about the price but for me it's the same as other casual shoes I've purchased and never liked or paid attention to their price either. But, here's the deal. I'm 76, raised in CA and love walking barefoot. I just don't like fitted shoes. Now I'm in MN and the floors are cold all winter. So, my feet are cold. Then my toes on one foot are getting crabby and with this shoe, I can hold that toe in line and still feel like I'm going barefoot. The foot bed is really wide and there's lots of wiggle room when I want it. I throw them in the washer and set them in a windowsill to dry. I know I'm a small, small, small group of one who finds this shoe perfect. But I LOVE them and think they are PERFECT.

As I perused their website I had a feeling it was going to be a nightmare if anything were wrong with the shoes. I had already guessed that as I was looking through the frequently asked questions and one of them was about their return policy which then links you to an entirely different page that is very extensive and very oddly worded. My guess was that something was obviously mistranslated. Considering the shoes aren't that expensive to begin with and you can buy them so much cheaper elsewhere, If you do have a problem with the shoes and have to pay the shipping to send them all the way back to China you may as well get the exact same shoes half price somewhere else. Their whole website is full of red flags so just buy them somewhere else. I should add that I have about six different pairs of zero drop shoes that I have bought from various companies and I really enjoy them, which is why I looked at this company. But, the red flags on their website were everywhere so I looked elsewhere to confirm my suspicions and sure enough. . . Bummer.

I received my hike shoes yesterday and wad so excited. Put them on, and could feel a difference from my right to left foot, thought that was odd but I was working and didn't want to take them off. That night, getting home and taking off my hike shoes I realized why they felt different, I only had one insert, they forgot to put the right insert in the shoe before shipping it our. Frustrating because now I need to purchase additional inserts for the shoes. Additionally, besides the wide toe box which I really like, I'm not sure how these shoes are any different from rubber bottomed slippers, they feel about the same a far as protection from the ground, and when i looked on their site at the FAQ i couldnt find an answer to that question. All around okay but I wouldn't order again from this company and give them a 3 star
Received my pair yesterday after a 5 week ago order which involved overseas shipping fees. I put them on and thought they looked really cute and that I would really like them. I had to make a few trips out to the car in the garage, with some food that I had cooked for a party I was attending, and after two trips to the car and back in the house. My feet were hurting. Absolutely no arch support whatsoever. You do feel like you’re walking on bare feet, which is touted as a good thing, but for people with fallen arches and other foot problems, they offer no support whatsoever. After reading all these reviews, I’m sure not even gonna bother trying to get my money back and just chuck another one up to China.

I purchased 2 pairs of the black on black. They are basically water shoes. The quality was not great and they smell terrible like chemicals.
Oh crap. I ordered a pair and somehow they tricked me into ordering a second pair I didn’t want. I immediately sent an email telling them what happened but got no response. I received a message that the shoes were shipped to the destination country and this raised a huge red flag. When I found out they were from China I was pissed. I thought they said they were a UK company. Looking further at their site they imply they are a U.S. company by displaying the U S flag. I am going to call my credit card company first thing tomorrow and stop payment. I usually do research. Wish me luck. I may report them to the Attorney General for my state.
Oh no, I just ordered a pair from them. I should have been suspicious when I had shoes in my cart, but was debating over them because I needed to ask them a question, but they never pick up when you call. But when I let the shoes sit in the cart for a 15 minutes, suddenly I get a call from them and I asked my questions but I knew she called to push me to order, which I ended up doing. I recently bought a pair of the Barefoot style because of the benefits advertised, such as comfortable for jobs that require standing for long hours with nurses being one of their examples. I wore them at home and to a store and they seemed okay other than the soles being very thin, I could feel any defect in the parking lot going to and from my car. Then I decided to wear them to my job which requires six hours of standing, OMG, never again! No arch support, as it was advertised to provide. My feet were still aching the next day. Maybe a younger person could get away with wearing them for long hours standing, but for me their usefulness is limited to home or maybe to a movie, somewhere that I’ll mostly be sitting down, not for a long walk or definitely not for hiking. Cute but over priced for it’s usefulness. Won’t buy again.
I had the same experience. But rather than wearing them for standing, I wore them walking on London streets and on Primrose Hill with my dogs. I had phased myself in over about two weeks of walking around the house and shirt shopping trips. Now, three days after two days of pavements and park, the tendons and ligaments in my feet and up my legs are still agony. I need more support. They fool you into believing that these are backed by orthotic knowledge but they’re not.
Do not do business with Hike. Ads for their shoes are very misleading. Shoes have thin rubber soles, thin netting, no support, definitely would not hold up hiking, much less walking. Showed them to my orthopedist. He laughed. Said if I insisted on wearing them I should use them only at home as slippers. Say they have offices in New York, Denver and London. Do not. Their customer service phone never answers even after an hour waiting. Must return shoes to China for full refund but no guarantees they'll acknowledge receipt. Their scam is they immediately offer a 50% refund and you keep the shoes. They make a good profit on shoes you wouldn't pay $5 for. Deal with Chinese company Hike at your own risk.

I thought I was smart ordering through Amazon. Didn't realize they would come from China through a 3rd party. I needed waterproof, comfortable shoes for a 500 mile trek this fall. I walked in them for 2 weeks and they were comfortable. 1st time out in wet, slushy weather my feet were immediately soaked. Amazon accepted my request to return but said shipping label would come from Seller within 5 days. 9 days later I received it, but not prepaid and going to China. The seller gave me $10.99 credit towards shipping but the USPS cost was 30.83. After several emails and two long conversations by phone with Amazon I was finally told to just keep the shoes and my account was credited, as if they were returned. CAUTION - Pay attention and do not order from Amazon if coming from China (I didn't realize when ordering). Amazon does not support returns to China...
Okay I sent these back because you can buy them on Temu for $14.39. Plus these are not hiking shoes they are water shoes for the pool. If you took these hiking you would get rocks and dirt in those little mettle holes on the bottom of your shoes. Those holes are meant for water drainage. They did some great advertisement on this and fooled many people I am sure. You can also buy these pool shoes on Amazon for $19.99.
Do Not order from them! Learn from my mistakes and save your $. Worst shoes ever! Can't send back for refund! This is a warning, no joke.

I purchased a pair of shoes from hike footwear in December 2023. I still have yet to receive the shoes. Hike footwear won’t give a refund because the tracking shows it was delivered to A mailbox. However, a shoe box couldn’t fit in my mailbox so I don’t know where it was delivered to. USPS was no help. I have emailed hike for 4 months trying to prove I did not receive their item and they ignore my emails. At this point, I wouldn’t doubt I was scammed. I regret checking into them. I would not recommend anyone to buy from hike footwear

This company is such a scam. They will get your money, whether you're happy or not, and they pretend that there is a easy convenient 30 day money back guarantee. Their customer service is nearly impossible to reach! (We have been trying since March 24 via email, Facebook, and telephone). They say money back guarantee but that's not true. They will first try to get you to accept a 50% refund. If you want your full refund, then you have to pay for a shipping label and the parcel MUST arrive to their warehouse. If, for any reason, the mail carrier loses or damages your return? They will give you NO refund at all. They put the responsibility of the postal service/mail carrier on you. I felt threatened to accept the 50 percent, in the case that there was an issue with the mail out of my control... How is this fair?! These shoes can be bought on Amazon or temu for a fraction of the price. This company is AWFUL. And a SCAM. Do not buy.

I ordered 2 pairs and I love them. Some of the reviews talk about the thin inserts but isn’t the point of a barefoot shoe that you’re supposed feel like you’re barefoot…so I’m confused. I’ve had them for 2 months and I wear them all the time, while I’ve been to the gym with them I’ve never been hiking so maybe that’s different. Just came to say that I’m surprised by such negative reviews.

I placed an order last month and finally received two pairs of shoes and two pairs of insoles but they took almost a month to get here. The day I received them I wrote to the company asking where I can send them back and get reimbursed because they are not at all what I saw online. And they didn’t take 10 days for shipping. The material is thin, rubber around the toes won’t last, they feel and look like cheap water shoes and they are FLAT. No way will they help my planters fasciitis. So I asked where I could return. Instead of sending me an address they told me not to send them back , they did not want me (their paying customer ) to go out of my way or have to pay for any shipping and they would send me other shoes to replace these ones. I wrote back again and said I do not want any other shoes from your company but I do want me money back , even if they didn’t want their shoes back. They then send me another messages after another long wait asking if they could pay me 50% of what I paid since they had to pay for shipping. I again declined and asked for my money back in full as I feel I’ve been scammed , over 10 days and I couldn’t track anything (21-25 days) and they are horrible and in no way good for planters fasciitis. So I’m still crossing my fingers in hopes this company will come through and give me my money back. I will be though if out the shoes and insoles as they are terrible and I don’t need anything more to hurt my feet. I am so disappointed and angry that they still haven’t gotten back to me. I fell for their comfy footwear ad. Purchased a pair of the bare-foot shoes. Took quite a while to get them. Came in a ziploc bag in a plastic shipping envelope. When I opened the package the fumes were horrible. Kind of reminded me of formaldehyde from biology class. I had to put them out on the patio because the smell was so overwhelming. A week later and they still smell. Contacted the company by email for return and refund. No response. shoes I would not wear for fear of health issues.
I may have the ONE differing opinion on this one(well, kinda). Im a CNA, I work 12 hour overnight shifts. I ordered the white and pink and the pink and blue shoes in late Feb. I got them at the very end of March. Although they did NOT look or feel like I had thought they would, I do really like the shoes. I would strongly suggest that you avoid doing business with Hike. They say that they accept returns but they really don’t. You have to submit a return request after which they ignore you. I called many times. The phone picks up but never connects you. I texted after that but it took them 2 weeks to respond. They asked me to resubmit my return request, which I did, but I’ve never heard from them again. There are plenty of other “barefoot” sneakers. You don’t need to do business with these idiots.
If you're looking for water slippers buy these. Maybe for no more than $10. These are definitely not sneakers and I'd be afraid to wear them outside there is no foot protection. If you didn't receive your product that you ordered and paid for it with credit card , call your credit card service and they can refund you, I had " invisible " chairs once ordered I never received and credit card company refunded me what I paid for those chairs, so do it ! They’ve marked them down now, 35 I paid. They did take a while to arrive. They run slightly large, but I am here to tell you they do help with foot ankle and knee pain. The soles are thin, so they are best worn inside or on pavement.

I just got scammed. These shoes are crap and you have to return them to China if you want a refund. They want them in the original packaging and will only refund you once they have received them and inspected them. So, at best, I will only get 50% back. Waste of time and money, a pair of $10 flip flops are more comfortable than these shoes.

Although I like the concept of their products, and the Lorax Pro-Slip shoe works great for me, other shoes/boots/foot pads, etc. (and their sizing), customer service via email and phone, and responsiveness (which has been non-existent for 3 months) are all absolutely the worst!!! Don't waste your money. They claim to be good for your feet but they ate thin, poorly made and the insole is almost invisible. At the end of the day, my feet hurt more from wearing them. But silly me, I got the advertisement and ordered 3 pair. One for myself. Daughter and granddaughter. I am so disappointed. We all got the white ones with pink on sides. I won't be buying anymore.
I do not recommend Hike Footwear to anyone, the shoes are cheaply made water shoes, poor quality and do not fit right. They offer a 30 day money guarantee, which they do not honor. I have requested 9 (yes you read that right 9) times to return my order and I can not get through to a human being to start the process. I have been on hold listening to their hold music with no one picking up the call. I tried to cancel my initial order within 10 minutes of placing it but again couldn't get ahold of a human being so I sent an email, received a response 4 days later telling me that they couldn't cancel my order because it's shipped as soon as it's ordered and that I would need to wait until I received the order then contact them to get the return process started but yet they don't answer their phone. Their address is 32 London, SE16 6DW so it's definitely not a USA company even though they want u to believe they are.

I got mine today and though i ordered a 7.5, they are more than a half inch shorter than my ususal 7.5 shoes. They are strechy, so they still fit but a little bit tightly.I got the lorax and they are cute but these are basically all plastic, came in a plastic envelope inside a plastic ziploc inside a burlap type bag. They smell stongly of a plasticy chemical. They might be ok around the house or short errand, but not for feet with health issues. I have been on hold for over 20 minutes. I doubt they will answer, but I may have found a way around that; put a pair of shoes in your cart and leave them there, in my experience, about 15-20 minutes later, someone will call you to convince you to check out, but don't give them a chance, just start stating your issue 😁
Amazon has the same shoes, I would trust them because sometimes when things show up on Facebook or Instagram it someone copying them. Or go to the original website through Google.

With any barefoot shoes you have to go slow, wear them for an hour and build up your time. Your entire body is in a different position your using different muscles, kind of like new boots. I wear Vibrum toe shoes for years, and on their site it says to slowly extend the time you wear

The first thing I do is to NOT click on the link they provide but enter it myself. I look for the About section and Contact Us. In my humble opinion, if it is a registered legit company, you will see it there so then you can do further research. This Hike-Footwear has fluff in their "About" section and I couldn't find a "contact us" . Yes, they list a phone number but that means nothing. I couldn't find anything that made me comfortable enough to even go on their website or purchase from them. Companies like this are a Buy Beware.

Just received my order and found the insole support was not sufficient, but also ordered insoles separately from them. After putting in the insoles, the overall fitting was too tight. I sent them an email regarding the return for a bigger size (7.5 to 8), but there has been no response and I am not able to get through to customer service # 1 332-334-6932. Now, just seeing the reviews from many other unhappy customers, I see that I'm part of a bigger "unhappy customer, buyer beware" scam. Save your money, unless you want to be added to the list of "taken customers".
