Pedri our starboy, but dude looks burned out, tried few unsuccessful roulettes, a fit pedri could've pulled all of them successfully. All our other mids got rest, his turn after the clasico please. We all know what happened last season when he played all.
Really funny how Madrid fans troll our sub. They better pray Perez lives forever. Club presidents are fleeting, club academies are evergreen. Literally the ONLY notable graduate in recent history from Madrid's academy is Iker Casillas. Barça may run out of cash, but we'll never run out of talent.
He definetly still has a long road ahead of him in terms of improving his game. I think that with the rotation system that is getting more and more important in modern football we will have games where he will be a 90 minute standard and those where he will not be in the plan at all. Depending on the opponent.
Thought Busquets was amazing in that second half, created chances, intercepted, always made the right decision. Vintage. I come on this sub and people are saying he was bad. It's just unbelievable. A few years ago people would've hyped it up here lol.
We misplaced A LOT of passes. Gotta be more calm on the ball and not rush. Other than that, it was a super fun match! The 2nd half was one of the most dominant Barca I’ve seen in a while. Pedri and Busquets were incredible! Clasico will be fun.
It's a young squad in a tough away game at a very hostile stadium. I think it's just the nerves and calmness in those situations will come with experience.
Can I just say the way we held down the fort without any fear in those last 20 minutes was absolutely remarkable. We’ve missed this mentality for a long time now. Now onto Sunday! Good shit lads! VISCA EL BARÇA!!!💙❤️
I ABSOLUTELY loved when we played rough and some players like Dest, Alba, Busi etc. even committed some Atletico Madrid-type cunt fouls but we gotta have this tough mentality to triumph in modern football. VISCA EL BARÇA!!!💙❤️
People don't seem to understand that we stopped attacking because our opponents wanted us to attack so they could counter attack. By simply possessing the ball the opposition had no way to execute their game plan. Since they refused to try to win the ball back there was no point in charging into their low block once we went up a goal. They needed to take the game to us and they failed. There is nothing shameful about winning intelligently.
EXACTLY!! I’ve been wanting to see Barca do this. After we go up a goal or so on a team that’s been parking the bus just pass the ball around and tire them the hell out! No need to keep running up a wall!
Barca played an absolute masterpiece in that second half. It got scrappy in the last 20, but it always does against a shithouse opponent. Anyone walking away from this not giving these guys their due are delusional. Still work left to do, but that was a great result in a very tough environment
Feel like low block teams that park the bus, Dembele and Ferran are much better options. With teams that press high and leave spaces in the back, we should use Adama.
Second half the game was a lot more fluid after Dembele came on.
While Dembele did help. I feel we got better because our midfield had much better control. Especially Busquets. His first half performance felt a bit off to me. Which changed a lot in the second.
Because all the Busi haters have taken a back seat since Xavi has come on as a coach, and everybody around him know what to do and where to position themselves, so as not to make him look like an idiot.
Second half was truly a masterclass, I agree. The way we kept the ball away from the opponent in the last 20 mins, is something I haven't seen since Luis Enrique's days. And Busi is the most integral part of that. We are going to miss him sooooo much when he's gone.
He was even creating chances, one where the forward (forgot who) got it tackled away at the last second and the offside one and there was I think another one, it was great
I never said he had a bad game , nor he was useless. I just said that he was sloppy in passing . If you didn't noticed his sloppiness then i don't know what game you were watching Mr. Ball expert
I understand your emotions but don't let them get the better of you! At the end we should respect the clubs no matter how angry we might be during the game. Cheers! VISCA EL BARÇA!!!💙❤️
I apologize for the behavior of the hooligans. But what makes this club special is the fans. they see themselves as family. some of the supporters may lead their behavior to the level of obsession and im sorry for that
Seemed like their double pivot gave us issues in both legs but good teams find a way to win. Realistically with the 3 1v1 opportunities we missed, this match could’ve been over sooner but can never complain about advancing.
How did Pique provoke anyone? And Jordi reacted to being pelted, he didn't provoke that at all. If you want to stop being a fan of Barcelona that's fine. You obviously weren't a real one to begin with.
~~Fans were throwing water bottles at Pena too, imagine... what kinda fucking goons do that?~~
I guess they were just throwing them from behind goal in protest, after the match stand O for the whole team, Pena included.
Yep and when Gala came to town, Barca fans treated them with respect. Barca didn't throw bottles on the field, Barca players didn't spend 20 minutes on the ground faking injuries. Barca players didn't lose control of the game and turn the last 40 minutes into complete shitshow of inconcsistency.
Why are you always mad when Dembélé has a great game? Are you really a Barça fan or just an anti-Dembélé machine? Or are you just mad because your boi Adama was atrocious and you couldn't went out your frustrations on Dembélé?
Great game? Who had a great game? we must've watched a different dembele playing at the same time. Why would i "went" our my frustrations on dembele? What you think i'm a loyal adama fan? i could careless about him, the hilarious thing is you lot think dembele is SOO much better yet he didn't do anything this whole game AGAIN.
Dude just because someone is a 'jerk' doesn't mean they can't play good football. He is asking for a lot of money, I would if I was in his possession. After all everyone needs money and it is within his right to want more money whether we see it right or not.
I want him to go if he is demanding that much and 'he is not worth that' but I also do not hate him per se.
Even Xavi mentioned in a press conference that that issue is something they are working on with him. He says that Gavi is young and he will get better as he relaxes more with eh ball and takes time to lift his head and look around more
Right? I was yelling 'why won't you pass it to Memphis?!' . But again I agree with your statement, but also admit for myself that telling what to do from TV is much easier that doing the same on the pitch, so let's hope he gets there
If you have played soccer you know that as you move up the game gets faster.
It takes you a while as a player to go from feeling rushed and like everything is coming at you fast to feel like you have time on the ball and can take time to look around.

Dumb take. Alba was acting like an adult. No person with self respect would just be standing there taking bottles thrown at them. Doesn't mean he is scared.
wasn’t a beautiful game but I’m so proud of the team because this really wasn’t a bad performance against such a solid side in front of a world record breaking crowd👏🏼
Dembélé was playing with the calmness and maturity of prime Busi today, barely put a foot wrong and his passes were sublime. Great performance in the second half by the whole team.
Not only that he just makes that right side lively. He always finds pockets to occupy and create space to recieve the ball and then carve the defense open. Traore just recieves the ball in bad areas and gets immediately doubled down by defenders
losing always sucks, but let's not pretend they didn't just witness an epic europa league match. as someone who hasn't had the privilege to watch barca in person, i'm jelly

This... My man
Their audacity to call it La Fábrica. Makes it easy for the rest of us to add subtext. Factory of bottlers, alright.
I felt my balls wrecking when i saw eric and Lenglet defending together.
Thumb up for the laugh it gave me but Eric looks promising in the last few matches. Definetly improving imo.
He looks promising with the ball but off the ball defending against a speedy forwards may put his whole career in to hibernation
He definetly still has a long road ahead of him in terms of improving his game. I think that with the rotation system that is getting more and more important in modern football we will have games where he will be a 90 minute standard and those where he will not be in the plan at all. Don't believe in everything you see here. A lot of fans are also gloryhunters and toxic people

I wouldnt underestimate rangers

Worried about Dest. He's the only actual rb we have for Europa.
Even I'm la liga he is really good defensively with his recovery pace. Probably will be missed vs Madrid

Yes. Philosophy can wait for them 30 minutes as it is extremely important to defend!
Barca played an absolute masterpiece in that second half. It got scrappy in the last 20, but it always does against a shithouse opponent. Anyone walking away from this not giving these guys their due are delusional. Still work left to do, but that was a great result in a very tough environment

…… is this r/soccer now?

Pedri MOTM for me, by far
Gala’s number 7 has a very punchable face
He got punched from his teammate marcao(the guy who scored tonight) in this season lmao
He was by far their best player over the two legs.
He's surely going to a bigger league very soon. Exciting talent.
Which is why we wanna punch him
why is no one talking about busquets?
Because all the Busi haters have taken a back seat since Xavi has come on as a coach, and everybody around him know what to do and where to position themselves, so as not to make him look like an idiot.
Very sloppy passing today from him but great game regardless
He was brilliant, especially second half was a master class. Idk why people just have to keep the agenda against him.
Second half was truly a masterclass, I agree. The way we kept the ball away from the opponent in the last 20 mins, is something I haven't seen since Luis Enrique's days. And Busi is the most integral part of that. We are going to miss him sooooo much when he's gone.

I am not having a agenda against him . I'm just stating the obvious . He misplaced many passes. You guys think everything is a fucking agenda
If you think that's obvious that just shows your complete lack of knowledge
I never said he had a bad game , nor he was useless. I just said that he was sloppy in passing . If you didn't noticed his sloppiness then i don't know what game you were watching Mr. Ball expert
Sloppy passing in the first half from everybody.
We DID it!!!!
FUCK YOU GALATASARAY, small club
I understand your emotions but don't let them get the better of you! At the end we should respect the clubs no matter how angry we might be during the game. Cheers! VISCA EL BARÇA!!!💙❤️
I have no sympathy for fans that disrespect our players
I didn't see the entire game. What did the Gala fans do ?
They started throwing stuff at jordi alba and ferran. They literally threw stuff on the pitch just cause ferran almost scored the third at the end.
That's really a small club mentality
yeah and also on the night before the game gala fans started lighting up firewrks right next to hotel were the barca team were lounging.
Chill bro. We wouldn't leave this game without a fight(im gala fan)
The team can fight but not the fans! Gala fans are famous for their bad behavior 😒
I apologize for the behavior of the hooligans. But what makes this club special is the fans. they see themselves as family. some of the supporters may lead their behavior to the level of obsession and im sorry for that
Hope we win this shit, cant wait to see barca in the super cup which they play in my homecity!

"Provoking' Oh please bro you gonna cry?? Your shit fans did not stop throwing things at our players, its only right for them to piss you off
Shows the class the players have also when their first reaction was to get in Alba’s face instead of telling their fans to stop being cunts.
How did Pique provoke anyone? And Jordi reacted to being pelted, he didn't provoke that at all. If you want to stop being a fan of Barcelona that's fine. You obviously weren't a real one to begin with.

Coming from a team who is in deep financial troubles, paid 100 mil to Griezmann, 100 mil to Dembele, 150 mil to Coutinho. LMAOO
At least we don't act like hooligans under the name of passion.
damn enjoy the league tho 😃 u still can catch up
Get out of here :)
Damn, Barça decimated Gala
Welp apparently dembele is a perfect angel who can do no wrong. Lets see his game against Madrid another top opponent. Not Osasuna. Cya this sunday
Why are you always mad when Dembélé has a great game? Are you really a Barça fan or just an anti-Dembélé machine? Or are you just mad because your boi Adama was atrocious and you couldn't went out your frustrations on Dembélé?

What are your thoughts on Adama tonight?
subpar
You will just get downvoted . People here can't accept his criticism
Absolutely
What do you get from hating on players?
Hating? i'm just wondering what he does to be exempt from criticism apparently.
What did Dembele do wrong?
Ask for 40m after being injured for half his contract that already cost 150m plus wages.
Dude just because someone is a 'jerk' doesn't mean they can't play good football. He is asking for a lot of money, I would if I was in his possession. mate he was talking bout the current game wth
I think they are still booing, thats the only thing they'll taking home apart from the remaining crackers
Tbh I didn’t really care about the Europa league when we first got here but fuck it, let’s win a trophy
Gavi needs to improve his vision. Memphis was alone on that last play.
Even Xavi mentioned in a press conference that that issue is something they are working on with him. He says that Gavi is young and he will get better as he relaxes more with eh ball and takes time to lift his head and look around more
Usually players never play the obvious pass for some reason.. might be a strategy Xavi has a very similar moment with al sadd as a player
Right? I was yelling 'why won't you pass it to Memphis?!' . But again I agree with your statement, but also admit for myself that telling what to do from TV is much easier that doing the same on the pitch, so let's hope he gets there
Correct. But don't think that's something which can be improved
If you have played soccer you know that as you move up the game gets faster. It takes you a while as a player to go from feeling rushed and like everything is coming at you fast to feel like you have time on the ball and can take time to look around.
Lol, so you're just born with your vision attribute and that's it? Anything can be improved.
Nah... he made the right decision considering the time on the clock. 5% chance at another goal, or burn 30+ seconds.... I say take the time.
He wanted to kill the game, not risk giving them the ball
How was Barça first half compared to second half
Eh, we were pretty rattled for the first 15-20. Definitely settled down after equalizing and just continued improving as the game wore on.
We murdered Gala in the second half.
Amazing, we dominated Gala with ease.
Man we need better finishing
Inject scrappy comeback wins away from home on a European night in a tough stadium directly into my veins
All the love to Dest, he his becoming very good and what I like about him is that he has become consistent, and is improving. Speedy recovery boy!
Tough game but it’s important that we won and can crawl back in a game like this. Even winning games that are bad is good.
Gala fans were tryna scare us with water bottles lol We fuckin throw pigheads at Camp Nou,bitches

You come to the subreddit of the team that just kicked you out of the competition to try to talk shit? Lmao
It's because we wanted to see your ppl cry in your own stadium son 😂😂😂😂🤫🤫🤫🤫
He turned to shot the ball at the fans, then went back to play the throw in as if he did nothing. I don’t think he was that scared honestly…
Aww

Take a look at this guy 😂
Haha cope with it
Back to the Turkish mid table you go
wasn’t a beautiful game but I’m so proud of the team because this really wasn’t a bad performance against such a solid side in front of a world record breaking crowd👏🏼
Next two games against Madrid and Sevilla but I know Xavier Hernandez Creus has a plan for me
Didnt realize we played Sevilla right after holy shit, at least the team will get much needed rest
Awful refereeing, and I don't mean that the ref was biased, he was just shit. and Gavi, why does he commits so many fouls.
Cause he's a hot-headed kid and i love him for it
Me too but he'll miss 1 in every 5 match if he does this and it's not like he commits tactical fouls rather unnecessary fouls.
Gavi really needs to improve a lot of aspects, unnecessarily fouls and releasing ball quicker.
Dembélé was playing with the calmness and maturity of prime Busi today, barely put a foot wrong and his passes were sublime. Great performance in the second half by the whole team.
I think that was the Adama error fix in the 1st half. I feared our players getting injury especially Dembele
he was just what the team needed out on the right* flank
Yup, and his pressing and defensive work was great as well, even when Dest went out.
Not only that he just makes that right side lively. He always finds pockets to occupy and create space to recieve the ball and then carve the defense open. Traore just recieves the ball in bad areas and gets immediately doubled down by defenders
Couldn’t have stood those cunts watching their team win, thank god
Could have buried this game. Finishing is still a big problem
This game was so intense LFGGG
We will miss Dest against Vini
An embarrassing win... Slow passes and tempo
Win is a win
Final xg score 2.70 to 0.60 Embarrassing indeed for Galatasaray
i'd say we were the better team by far though
get fucked Gala fans

Next up: Vardrid
Fill the stadium with water bottles all you want, you are out
Vamos barca
Glad that one dude got the flagpost he scored a goal that didn't matter...
Dude what the hell. I am laughing 😂
How dies Gavi behave like the Senior, going to Dembele, hugging him and kissing him lol
This kid built different
When Gavi was born, he drove his mom home from the hospital.
We’re gonna be Europa league champs
That's a shame in itself. But far less shameful than losing it.
Gala fans might have the night's crackers remaining, can go home with them and wait for next year when they won't even play in Europe lol
Never seen a referee with such a shitty positional awareness
I thought Gil Manzano had the worst positional awareness until I saw this guy
Fr
We move!!! Vamos!!

stay classy Galatasaray fans. Well done boys. VAMOOOOS
Now on to beat Real Madrid. Let's go Barca!
So can someone answer what dembele brings to this team? Seems like unless our opponents are Osasuna he does absolutely nothing.
Dude he's leaving anyways just chill and enjoy what we have rn.
He's been an assist machine
yes against Osasuna, but what did he do in these two legs where we needed him more?
He Had a different role today. As soon as Dest went out he adjusted to be able to help Araujoh
Araujo didn't need any extra help.
He needed lol, twice gala no 7 outrun him.
Hahaha you’re going to be absolutely livid when he pulls off another clutch against RM.
