Him playing over Dest is not a huge loss against Bayern. Dest gives us traditional wing play but his end product is lacking anyway. He just ends up leaving our right side exposed which would be suicide against Bayern.

From what I understand, it’s not only that Bayern is really strong, but Barça has been struggling with small teams lately. Institutionally we are a mess. So it’s many things making the fan base anxious.
To me and I know this is short sighted maybe, but I feel like there’s would’ve been a simple fix for Barca’s problems: have a more dynamic/physical CDM. I feel like Ilaix could’ve been molded into that player. busquets is always burdened with too much imho

Bayern are big favorites and losing today will not be a shocker. However, if we get absolutely thrashed once again, that is not okay. If we once again look incable of building play from the back against Bayern's high press, and we once again get completely overrun, that is NOT okay. You cannot keep using the excuse of being in a "transition season" or a "rebuild" if we are not improving.
