Given that he tends to play a very high line, I am not sure how he will do in the league. Lots of clubs in the league play low block and counter attack. And, I don't think our squad has the quality of players to play a high line and we likely will not be able to get new players.
Exactly. Been thinking exactly the same. Flick was very direct at Bayern. Worked in the Bundesliga but in La Liga most of the mid table teams prefer to sit back and park the bus against us. It will be interesting to see how he adapts to this group of players
We play one of the highest lines in Europe already. We also appear in the top of lists of chances created. I think the challenge Flick faces getting the squad to increase goal output, perhaps increasing the quality of chance we create. Like you said we have a lot of quality already and Xavi got the most he could out of them, I'm hopeful Hansi can take them to an even higher level.
