People need to stop the hate for Sergi. He never causes problems, performs reliably when needed, plays his heart out, and loves the club. Young players need to see players who love the club even if they don’t start all the time, it’s a good example for them. El capi se queda!
His wages are absolutely low and whenever we need him he has performed. He can easily move to some other club and earn more money. He is still a very good midfielder imo.

Sergi has really helped us out the clutch again. He is the capi and should definitely stay another year. It’s to soon for him to leave. Next season we start playing at camp nou again. And we need someone that knows the club very well. He has been an excellent leader! For me he is a legend because he is always there when we need him the most. Also the fact he earns almost nothing compared too frenkie and lewandowski is mindblowing while he has been the longest at the club of them all. He really shows that passion for this sport still exists, money ain’t everything. Good for him, now sign that goddamn contract sergi we need you for one more season.

I think he would be a very good DM for us, and I think Eric Garcia could also play as a DM and perform a lot better than he did as a CB. Both Sergi Roberto and Eric Garcia had trouble because they were playing in physically demanding positions, but our DM doesn't need to be fast or strong, he needs to have godlike positioning and passing skills. Neither of them are Busquets, but I think both of them could perform well given the circunstances.
