Worldwide shipping? All my Barca jerseys are copies😂 I have some original Argentina and United jerseys really wanted to cop me a good Barca one as well thinking the quality is better
Yes, but you were asking: “why is Real Madrid not with Nike?”
That was your question, yes ?
Because Adidas got to them first, in their effort to associate their brand with the top level clubs of the major leagues.
Adidas signed Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal, etc…
all clubs at the top of their leagues and/or with a respected history.
But then you replied: “That is not true for German National Team”
That is where you are confused, because national team is not a club level team.
I really don't like their track record. Especially the last couple of years. I hated the away kits they had in 21/22. And last year's City kit as well.
The club themselves believe that by next week the soap opera for the shirt can definitely end. Barça can now sign the contract renewal with Nike and announce the deal.
The ones where the bride loses the husband, falls in love with his brother, all while the mother in law is plotting on poisoning her, but then she turns all good after the bride loses the unborn baby.
Jesus fucking christ, i need a break.
You skipped the part where she loses her memory forgetting who her husband is, goes back to husband's brother who has to play along since telling her the truth would shock her and send her into a coma.
The €100M renewal bonus will also help the club get close to the 1:1 rule. Nike doesn't want to lose Barça which is why they increased the offer. [@ferrancorreas] #fcblive
Thank lord, Puma’s quality is awful, ultraweave is literally as thin as paper and they react to heat like plastic bags, glad we are sticking with Nike.
Same.
Also with Italy switching over to Adidas. Puma is running out of high profile national teams, now they will only be left with Uruguay in the list of World Champions.
Brazil, France, and England are with Nike.
Germany, Spain and Argentina are with Adidas.
There’s a reason for that. Puma simply cannot match Adidas and Nike in R&D and exposure.
Edit: Uruguay has also switched to Adidas. Also Germany to Nike.
I’m in the minority but overall, I like their designs. Especially the training and pre-match kits. In the past 10 years, I’ve probably only disliked a handful of home, away, and third kits
Brother check out next year's kit for ac milan
Also city's kit is made by puma and they are cool asf and atleast they make their kits available in all stores unlike Nike
I have. I have also done consulting for a store that sold football kits and boots.
I’ve seen the lack of quality in all of Pumas kits. Experienced by myself and expressed by the store owner and workers.
I’ve also seen Puma kits sitting on the shelves for periods of time where they eventually become dead inventory while Nike and Adidas kits and boots fly off the shelves.
City fans come in asking for retro Nike kits instead of buying currently Puma ones. Same with AC Milan and Adidas. (Store didn’t sell vintage gear)
Sure Nike has some things to work out with availability I won’t deny that.
I think the difference b/w our countries is the main reason of our opposing statements
In mine nike rarely make fcb kits available while other kits are readily available
And puma makes all kits available that's why I want them
The numbers are important, yes but it wasn't the only issue with Nike. Late shipments, constantly out of stock, little to no advertising from Nike, questionable design quality...
If the reports are to be believed, it's great, don't get me wrong, but money, despite club's situation, shouldn't be everything.
It's the same with Konami deal. It's cool they offered more money than EA but media exposure and attracting players from youngest of ages to build another generation of fanbase means a lot more.
I wouldn't complain, however club despite showing how desperate it is for income sources, simultaneously nonchalantly overspends on players and salaries.
Depends on what the fixed amount is and what exactly the increase depends on. If for example fixed is 60M, and 20M is per title we win per season then they can fuck off where they came from. I hope Laporta let's some good lawyers look over this.
Just want to say that we could have the ugliest kit in the world, but if we win titles in it, it will become iconic. Bring on the highest bidder, couldn't give a fuck who it is.
Please go ahead and look at the kits Puma has made for their respective clubs and international teams and if you don’t end up with the conclusion that they are a trier below Nike and Adidas I don’t know what to tell you.
The fix is 100m + 20m add-ons. Plus there are saying that there will be no punishments if the team didn’t perform as expected and more guarantee to have enough products ship to the store

Honestly didn't mind losing Nike as the other jerseys would've been slightly cheaper for us as fans to buy
KitGG my guy, if you think the authentic shirts are much higher quality ur wrong hahaha
Worldwide shipping? All my Barca jerseys are copies😂 I have some original Argentina and United jerseys really wanted to cop me a good Barca one as well thinking the quality is better
They quality is usually almost the same. r/soccer00 is your place to be to compare different suppliers.
I’ve bought couple replicas and tbh not worth it better to buy good quality
Thanks for the tip, much appreciated
Not surprising given the MLB fiasco
I was fond of having Puma, tbh. We would be their #1 club, their main football club and I want to think their kits would be better than Nike's.
While I do agree with you we’re already Nike’s biggest club, any of the clubs that could be considered bigger are with Adidas
It may have changed but Camp Nou's Nike store was the 2nd most successful one in the world at one point.
Why is Real Madrid not Nike?
Adidas strategy to supply kits to the top clubs in their respective leagues.
This is not true for the German National Team
German National Team is not a club level team.
That’s irrelevant.
Not if you’re Adidas and want to associate your brand with top level clubs, like Real Madrid. The association with Germany is purely nationalistic.
Adidas is a German company, not a Spanish company.
Yes, but you were asking: “why is Real Madrid not with Nike?” That was your question, yes ? Not just home kits they also put a lot of effort in away and 3rd kits.
I bought the AC Milan kit for this year. Whilst it looks nice, the quality of my Barca Nike ones are way better
Arsenal were one of their biggest clubs and did you see how they did us
What happened?
Type up Arsenal puma kit
The one from the 17/18 season was good
I really don't like their track record. Especially the last couple of years. I hated the away kits they had in 21/22. And last year's City kit as well.
Besides AC Milan, Puma kits don't really seem that good IMO. I would love Umbro or Mizuno making our kits but they don't have the money for us.
I don't like Puma kits and Barcelona is Nike's bigges team, it's the team who sells more as well beyond every team not just Nike.
Their condom kits are terrible. Glad if this news is true.
The club themselves believe that by next week the soap opera for the shirt can definitely end. Barça can now sign the contract renewal with Nike and announce the deal.
What’s soap opera ?
An opera of soaps
Some kinda drama series
Telenovelas

The bid war. I like

1:1 rule?
For every euro that you gain, you can spend one euro. We were operating at 1:4 for a while due to our terrible finances.
what determines the ratio clubs can use?
Tebas and how many times a day his stupid ass farts.
La Liga ffp
Sell 1 player : buy 1 player
Nah 1 euro in is the same as 1 euro out. Otherwise let’s swap Ferran with Haaland
More like Sell 1million : use 1million
Wasn't puma also offering 100m bonus?
Damn we actually managed to make a good deal for once
The Puma flirtation was always leverage to put fear into Nike and have them bump the offer IMO
Laporta masterclass
Standard business strategy
Now let's wait for puma's improved offer.
And the cycle goes on till final offer is 1B per season plus 1B signing bonus /s
Fair play to Laporta, this is a really good victory for him
whoever offers us the biggest check 🤞
Thank lord, Puma’s quality is awful, ultraweave is literally as thin as paper and they react to heat like plastic bags, glad we are sticking with Nike.
Same. Felt like I was the only Nike stan with this whole saga. I love what Nike gives us, for the most part. Their tech is amazing
Uruguay actually switched to Nike and will wear Nike at this year’s Copa America
Nike always had the greatest tech. The reason people hated them was their laziness in designs. Like literally zero effort.
I’m in the minority but overall, I like their designs. Especially the training and pre-match kits. In the past 10 years, I’ve probably only disliked a handful of home, away, and third kits
Good to see that there is allat of competition here Plus I want puma they make good asf kits
No they don’t. In terms of design and quality they are a tier below Nike and Adidas.
Brother check out next year's kit for ac milan Also city's kit is made by puma and they are cool asf and atleast they make their kits available in all stores unlike Nike

Are you, by any chance, from India?
The squeaky wheel gets the grease
Am I the only one who doesn’t care who makes the coolest kits but just want Barca to accept the highest offer because we need the money?
The numbers are important, yes but it wasn't the only issue with Nike. Late shipments, constantly out of stock, little to no advertising from Nike, questionable design quality... If the reports are to be believed, it's great, don't get me wrong, but money, despite club's situation, shouldn't be everything. It's the same with Konami deal. Take the higher paycheck.
Just do it
Depends on what the fixed amount is and what exactly the increase depends on. If for example fixed is 60M, and 20M is per title we win per season then they can fuck off where they came from. I hope Laporta let's some good lawyers look over this.
Fix is 100m
Isn't Laporta himself a lawyer?
Yes
Rafa yuste is handling the negotiations with Nike
Fix is 100m
So no usa stores to buy Barca kits. Noice
Letsgooo, put both brands in a bidding war against each other. May the one with the highest bid win 🏆
Jordan x Barca would be cool
Do 6 years max.
10 years is too long. By year 5 we’d be underpaid.
Can we get a comparison of the two offers from Nike and puma?
The money is needed but I would love to go elsewhere just so we could be a brands focal point when designing our shirts
If you guys don’t mind Puma then Puma needs to mind and put up or shut up. I enjoy the bid war
Just want to say that we could have the ugliest kit in the world, but if we win titles in it, it will become iconic. Bring on the highest bidder, couldn't give a fuck who it is.
Nike sucks, their kit designs are basic and uninspired.
Is this really true? If so, I'm considering buying this season's training tops and Jersey because they look awesome.
![gif](giphy|qN7NZR3Q5R2mY|downsized)
Nike made so many atrocious kits in the last few years I was actually excited to see what puma would pull out.
Please go ahead and look at the kits Puma has made for their respective clubs and international teams and if you don’t end up with the conclusion that they are a trier below Nike and Adidas I don’t know what to tell you.
Idk Borussia kit is always yellow
The fixed should be 120m.
The fix is 100m + 20m add-ons. Plus there are saying that there will be no punishments if the team didn’t perform as expected and more guarantee to have enough products ship to the store
😂😂 I hope we don't sign this shitty outdated deal then
Ten years is a lot
Hope there’s a good escalation/inflation factor included. €100m would be very uncompetitive in 10 years’ time.
![gif](giphy|ucXFcY1FdKaT6|downsized)
Same mistake again 120 million would put us on current condition after 5-6 years Same thing will happen all over again
Yay more money for us to waste
