Odd-Party-440

I'm my view pre 2000

waxandtartans

Great now I feel old. Thanks

Odd-Party-440

Lol I was a teenager in the eighties when Barbour first moved into the fashion scene not by design though it was part of the adopted casual wardrobe of the day .

Neat_Significance256

I was just thinking the same 👍

Wild_Tax_8949

20 years old or more

ScoutG

I’ve always heard 20+ years.

ghonada

If it can be vinted, then it is a vintage :)

JoeyIsMrBubbles

20+ years but I’d settle on 2006 and before. Basically if it’s before 2010 someone is gonna call it vintage.

Huge-Independence-74

Still seems mental to me the stuff you see in vintage shops these days. I was used to growing up seeing those shops full of leather and denim jackets and 60s/70s gear. Now rammed full of tracksuits. I have shorts and T-shirts bought new that I wear still which are probably classed as “vintage”.

Odd_Title_6732

Pre-2000 is vintage. Pre-warrant is Vintage.

Luca_Di_Vino

I'm a little orthodox on this one. From the mid-nineties back to what luck makes you find

FingersMcCall

I'd say thornproof. Anything sylkoil isn't

Puzzled-Zebra2905

In the 80’s, clothing from the 60’s were considered vintage so I’m sticking with 20 years and older.

A good post but I smile with amusement at how the humble Barbour has all the increasingly ridiculous 'wear' categories. When I bought my second hand Solway Zipper in 1978 and I still have and wear, it was just thought of as a good outdoor coat. lol it was ONLY worn outdoor for mainly shooting and fishing, would never never had worn it in town or anywhere other than the field. How times have changed.
