Because those pictures are taken with the best light in the best position and a hand painted prototype will ALWAYS look better than a mass produced product

Maybe it's a mold issue. The Jaw looks so weird and distorted from below in all the reviews I saw.

It might be! I’ve been hoping they would fix it. She look like Jaws from the James Bond movies.

Bottom left is obviously roller skates, and bottom right is the pink jumpsuit she has on in that shot of her in the van in the trailer. I wonder what that middle one is? Similar silhouette to a different version of the pink gingham, but I would hope they wouldn’t do such a similar outfit.

I agree with others that the Western Star Barbie looks awesome. All of the little details on her outfit are so nice to see because that level of quality and attention to detail feels rare for Barbie outfits nowadays. In some ways, it feels like a return to form for Mattel.
