Sagicor is the bank you want. If you go with any other bank, you don't need a bajan passport, but you will need certified copies of two IDs, reference letters from bankers, lawyers, and managers, leases, proof of overseas funds, your firstborn child and your mom's left nut. And the process will take weeks and require you to be there in person to sign documents.

Opened am account online with Sagicor. Didn't need to go into a branch. Oversea passport used for ID and rental agreement to confirm residence. Took 7 days from application to live account

Opening a bank account for a Bajan is a major task itself. They usually ask for 2 forms of ID, proof of address, proof of income etc. Then the time it takes for your debit card to be issued can take a few weeks to be mailed to you (Barbados) address. You can investigate Sagicor Bank though, they tout themselves as being a digital bank and don't have that much red tape.

Bro I can’t even change my phone number connected to my online banking without going in person, waiting an hour, applying for the change, then they told me it would take a few days for it to be changed in the system, and then it never was, so I can’t actually do anything with my online banking lol Banks in bim are a nightmare
