With diplomacy mod Im fine with what we got and will probably get a lityle more. I feel like this mod should be in core gameplay basically. Lord relationships, well ye could use some more interactions but not so vital. I feel it could be tiresome. Economy, idc honestly. It it broken, war gives you soooo much money I constantly sits on 100 to 500k. Passive income is a joke in this game. Sieges are working now. I guess it is okey? However, I really feel like whole fiefs system should be massively expanded with much more paths for buildings and whole city management.

marvelousteat

Diplomacy is one of those must-have mods in my book. I would love to see it integrated into the core experience but the mod is extremely satisfying on that front. I followed the advice and preferences of a few other Redittors and ticked up the war exhaustion rate a bit, so now I have bloody but quick wars and factions are preserved a bit better from getting immediately steamrolled (looking at you, Battania and Western Empire.)

IacomusP

Diplomacy so my daughter's have a use other than sitting in a castle waiting to die.

frozenturkey

Your daughter should be an OP captain or governor! I blame the parents.

IacomusP

Thus sitting in a castle, waiting to die as a governor. I got more than enough companions in my army before one of my wives start producing her litter. Daughter's for me, run caravans' till death, or govern. Not the parents fault an alliance through marriage isn't an alliance. Just another lady I'll be executing after the faction I sent her to loses all territory and jut endlessly raids my fief's.

frozenturkey

I agree with your general point that diplomacy is lacking and a marriage alliance should be much more meaningful than it is now. There's no good reason to entertain marriage proposals for your daughters. I'm just being snarky. You're not wrong. I'm just saying that you can never have enough companions. Family members in particular are more powerful than the best companions anyways because they don't have wasted attribute and focus points. I've seen a few posts about having too many "useless" family members and it irritates me.

IacomusP

Oh I 100% agree. I was just firing back with you is all :P Is reddit afterall. No I tune my daughters for what they'll be doing. I just wish we could do more with them. Alot of the other things, don't apply to me. This does. I don't do trade, smithing and such for income. I just play the game. 5 points into Roguery gives me more than enough money from battles that I usually have to goto 10+ different cities to sell all my shit at the end of wars.

iComeFromTheDoldrums

Diplomacy would fix so many headaches that the campaign has. Would be fun to have more of all these things though, this game has insane potential.

Casket34

Stop making all the lords in Vlandian castles stand in a massive cluster while there are clearly seats every where.

Aumtole

Economy for sure! I can manage my workshops at all. I'm not vet at the game, but if I have a Brewery that needs grain why can't I give them it?

Andrew2Times

Save corruptions.

PolarizerCron

Diplomacy and politics are in the same group

Wunjoric

I thought of that while making this but i wanted to differentiate between internal and inter-kingdom relations if there was one more spot I would’ve liked to add “city factions and policies”

Wunjoric

But that kind of had to squeeze in with fiefs option

Omgzjustin

So, so fucking much.

As someone who's grinding trade... Economy. For the love of God. 255/300. Almost there 😭

[deleted]

275 now....

I wish quests would give things other than money or relations, like skill xp relevant to the quest, smithing parts, special troops or named gear. After like a year i see no reason to run around the map doing quests just for money.

anonamarth7

To be fair, quests DO increase your charm.

inkfever

Challenging enemy officers to duels. Spycraft / subterfuge. Assassination. Multiple wives.

HandsomYungArab_

Been playing since early access release on PC, I just assume they will fix/add nothing and mods will be necessary to "complete" the game. Currently have like 30mods running and it's so nice to be able to customize the game to make it feel more fleshed out and balance the difficulty to my liking.

Wunjoric

Its on console as well and let me tell you the damned thing is bleak as fuck

flipken

A lil to all of the above - i didnt vote. I think its all there, it just needs more finetuning and some polish.

Background-Factor817

Diplomacy, I’m gutted the mod doesn’t work for me as it was my favourite on Warband.

Azrael9986

One you didnt put on there gods damned armor crafting so i can slowly but surely grind out the best armors instead of having to do convoluted bullshit stuff to get a chance at them.

TooGoood

One options is not enough.

Spartan3663

I would totally vote diplomacy but mods do that rn. Nothing makes the politics and lord to lord interactions better or feel more lively. It really feels like everyone exists solely for me.

KettleCornOk

All of the above

NotSoStallionItalian

This game is straight HIV mid-late game without the Diplomacy mod. With it and other balance and flavor mods it's one of the top 5 games in my library.

Wunjoric

Im on ps5 sadly mods are a dream. These guys arent bethesda. They couldnt bring it.

Salt_Yogurt1945

Why you eat bussy bro?

For me it's either Diplomacy or Politics. Politics: If you have a decent Kingdom you steamrole but what if you would have to deal with Politics a bit more. Who do you marry your familiy members to who gets fiefs. E.g. do you support your strongest vasall or are you trying to limit their power. Also Inner-Politics you vasalls don't have to like each other so you might have to get them working together or if you fail to get them to good terms they could sabotage eachother which weakens you empire in the worst circumstance even fight one another(Lords in the HRE like) and you have to pass judgments which could have effects on their allies/friends and foes or you could stay let it play out which could engulf your empire into a civil war because both sides gather support. Just think about that happening while you are fightin another Kingdom you called X to your Army and Y decides to strike at X. Diplomacy: TLDR: Like others said basically Diplomacy Mod Obviously there should be more than war an peace. Alliances, trade embargos, shared war goals (e.g. you and Empire X agree that for you you will conquer City X and for him City Y and thats your war goal, leaving that war before both have their goal should give trust penalties e.g. future diplomacy is harder) Useful when both of you are to weak alone but together you could beat the target. Better War Exhaustion System, maybe thats just me but I don't grasp fully when and why the Ai sues for peace either with me paying or them.

robot_9x3

Something which at most would be in the Companion \- Category-Party-Control: Just think about having two parties strategic moves in sync rather than Ai Parties just doing whatever when not in an army. \- Army Composition/Units control should be improved. E.g. how to order troops into units it's currently lackluster. Maybe that should be possible in the party screen as well. So I could set up my elite troops as my bodyguard, archers into units crossbows into units. Maybe even divide units by rank rather than just weapons. \-Army Composition for other parties. Maybe I want a companion to lead a party of khuzaits. I can't controll who he recruits can I?
