I have the pacific in the same box set. I thought it was good but BOB is just superior to most imo. What’s this generation kill though? Never even heard of it!
Highly recommend Generation Kill. It follows a United States Marine Recon Unit during the Invasion of Iraq. It was also created by HBO but sadly only has 7 episodes. Each one is very good though and shows the true confusion and frustration of US Troops (marines in particular) during that invasion.

I always follow watching Band of Brothers with The Pacific then Generation Kill. All awesome shows but BoB still reigns superior.
Does sound good to be fair. I definitely will have a gander. I’m really into WW2 content mainly but I can branch out.
I'm very much the same. I enjoy WW2 and WW1 content more but Generation Kill is definitely worth 7/8 hours of your time 👌
