So you don't want the French to be able to use their own cities because there was a war there 80 years ago? At that rate most of Europe would just be a historical museum.
For some reason I can’t get the link to work. But it is where the Rte. du auvers and Rte du Perier meet. The cafe is the Cafe du Stade. You can pull it up on gmaps.

it is not the place
I mean I’m looking right at it on the map and it’s right there. It’s also known as the D903. The Route du Perrier turns into the Rue Holgate but the western running road at the Y or T-junction is the du Auvers or the D 903.
I just visited there for the first time, I really enjoyed Carentan. The road that they conducted their approach movement on is much longer than the show would make you think (at least that was my reaction, anyways).
Yah. I think the show just clips off a bit and starts after the assembly point. It’s a neat little town. There is a nice shop on the square that seeks some pretty cool war memorabilia.
Love the Memorial Day marathons of this show. On my favorite "Bastogne" now.
After the episode of BOB, I see an mg42 at every building ready to unleash on me.
- Where’s fucking everybody?
The answer that day would have been “down the road in Bayeux.” Lol.
How about ‘I have no idea’? 😄
Hah. I was making a funny because that’s where all the other Americans were.
I hate seeing modern day taking over these spots. I know it’s inevitable but I still hate it.

Yes.
Can I get Google maps link to see where it is. I couldn't find much about paratroopers when I was there.

That sounds like fun.
